Kara n Nate are awesome. They are so cool in accepting other cultural things that is beyond imagination.. Really loved their positivity. Hope you and your family are safe in this corona pandemic. Love & respect from Bangladesh.
I loved my time at Bangladesh it was interesting. It was a special occasion because it was my 20th birthday and due to the illness I have making it to your twenties is a big milestone. So my nurse / caregiver asked if I could pick any country to go to and travel to where would I like to go I told her I want to go where she grew up and she used to live in Bangladesh. She was so excited to take me and believe me when I say that she wasn't kidding when she said that she was going to show me everything . And her family that lives there was really excited to meet me So before I knew it I was on a plane on the way to Bangladesh. Her family lives in the capital.. we did take a train an overnight one and we got first class. Thank goodness my oxygen machine breathing machine and iv/ feeding pump were just small enough to fit. Our roommates were really cool one act of kindness that my roommates did that I'll never forget was while my nurse and I were in the restroom while she was helping me out and make sure I didn't fall our bedding came and our roommates actually went ahead and made my bed for us so that way as soon as we got in there we could go ahead and get me all situated they were actually going to make my nurse bed but we got in there before they did. Just sum it up my time in Bangladesh was fun interesting and a little different. Especially the tuk tuk rides. Not going to lie I may or may not have gotten startled at 5 in the morning from the call to prayer on the train when they played it I was like wait wait what's going on the noise startled me awake.. funny story one of the workers kind of got startled at my IV machine making all of the beeping noises they came in to check to see what was going on but once they saw was just my machine they weren't as worried. One of the workers actually helped my nurse walk me around the train whenever I needed to go to the bathroom so if I was about to fall and my nurse couldn't catch me the worker was there for backup. Because my caregiver had to make sure I didn't fall in the bathroom whenever we were done so she could keep holding me up all we had to do is knock on the door and the worker would open it for us so that way my nurse and I didn't have to walk around the train are roommates went ahead and got us are food and drinks. Overall great service good roommates as well

@@iamin03 so funny story one of our roommates on the train bribed me with some really interesting food that I've never tried and I really wanted to try it the condition was I had to let my nurse put myiv in and get it started for the night and as you can imagine IVs are not fun so our roommate knew the best way to compromise he basically said if I'm really calm and cooperative when it's time to set my iv he'll surprise me with some really interesting food and it was a win-win situation my nurse was able to do the IV and I was able to try some really good food

Thank you for presenting Bangladesh so positively and beautifully! I believe we Bangladeshi people are different from other south Asian countries. People of Bangladesh are so kind and their hospitality must amaze you. Welcome to our country again and again ... :-)
@@kironium Its very similar especially to west bengal. I will feel no culture shock if i go there. The food is same, language i can understand 5% of Bengali and I've heard it and familiar with bengali culture too. It just look run down and crowded and the people look nicer from what i can see on youtube. I don't know how will they react if they see a non white tourist though. I'll be visiting bangladesh this year probably specially in Khasi and other tribal villages as I'm Khasi and would love to see my own blood brothers and other tribals to see how are they being treated there. Cheers!
Planes, Trains, Everything, you are right and you are not the first one who are saying this. I have heard other tourists who visited both India and Bangladesh also say the same thing. Many foreigners often assume that Bangladesh would be an identical copy of India. But this is not true, there are big differences in terms of religion, food habits, dress, language, culture, gesture, expression and many other things.
Yap... A lot of people here aren't familiar and easy with foreigners. They have not much idea about out of world and they feel also funny when they watch foreigners. They want to make it different.
being an Indian, I feel so proud to see my brothers out there.. though our countries got parted but our love and bond will always remain intact💗❤ Will soon visit Bangladesh !!
With all the people that ask for pictures or videos of them, you should do a montage per country and do like "the people of Bangladesh" or "the faces of Bangladesh"
I just love how positive they are about every circumstance that could arise. Everything is something exciting. Things that happen that are out of "norm" like spraying lysol under the beds was just a "I love the spray!" the love in these comments is so wonderful! growing up in new york I know so many bengalis, but never considered visiting. the thought made me a little nervous, because I've heard stories from women who travel solo in south asia that have had really unpleasant experiences, but seeing these videos really makes me want to visit! if I can find a nice man who can pretend to be my husband, I'd love to go someday in the future haha
You are always welcome to our country. And in case you wanna travel 'before' you get a man pretending to be your husband, there are some all women travel groups operating in Bangladesh who can gladly help you :D

You know I was just thinking about how much of the world I didn’t even know existed before I started watching yalls videos years ago. My family loves watching y’all so much. Thanks guys for giving us our weekly glimpse into a more simple world. Safe travels y’all.

Pakistan tortured us for more than 23 years & used us like a colony.... So finally we got independence from Pakistan in exchange to 30 lac people lives and 2 lac mothers&sisters dignity! You guys are exceedingly decent. Not making any poor comments about the country. I really wish you had a chance to see the Dhaka night life and delicious cuisines at the best restaurants.
Thanks for visiting my country, and capturing the local beauties. There are thousands of more places to explore like Sylhet, Srimangal, Bandarban, Rangamati, Cox Bazar, and the list goes on. If you get time, try to visit these places for getting more ideas about the beauty of Bangladesh. Take love from Bangladesh.
I appreciate you guys visiting one of the poorest countries in the world. You showed a lot of class of accepting their standards.I love your vlogs. Keep them coming...Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Mouarsafi, which country are you from? Bangladesh is 29th largest economy in the world. You can not call one of the top 30 economy in the world as ''one of the poorest'' and ''accepting their standard''. Moreover Bangladesh is one of the fastest growing economy in the world with GDP growth rate at 8 percent. So, although it's current transport infrastructure is in disarray but improving rather quickly.
@@loaiuk One of the poorest is rather a narrow term which invoke worst 5 or 10 countries for poverty. But the truth is, Bangladesh is not among the 50 poorest country in the world by per capita GDP. By World Bank designation, it is a lower middle income country and heading fast towards upper middle income due to rapid economic growth. Bangladesh is also 29th largest economy in the world. Calling one of the top 30 economy in the world as ''one of the poorest'' do not sound right.

And who said you bangladesh is the poorest country? Do some Google please
@@azmeritania8076 One of the poorest ..... i am from bangladesh
