Bangladeshi cuisine is amazing. It's always get overshadowed under the common name of indian food!! Fun fact: the indian restaurants in London are mostly owned by the Bangladeshi.
I am an Indian But my favorite cuisines are from the great country Bangladesh What a splendid dispay of mouth watering delicacy Bangladeshis know how to stuff your tummy to the fullest Great people and great culture Greetings from India
You must be Bengali Indian from West bengal, that's why you like Bangladesh cuisine more, Bangladesh cuisine is very homogeneous whereas india and pakistan are very diverse in terms of cuisine, people and languages
I was just smiling from start to end. The people in Bangladesh are super friendly and accommodating. I find it really sweet when they actually put each dish on their visitor's plate. It used to be a common gesture in the Philippines, particularly in our province, but it is slowly fading (based on my personal experience only). Anyway, the food seem super rich and flavorful! I hope to find restaurants here that serves those kinds of food! ❤️
Coming from a person who’s mixed with Bengali and African American , I’m so happy to see this video. I still have family over there in Bangladesh and hoping I get to see them soon 🥺
Why is no one mentioning the wife who cooked for 12 hours straight? BIG SHOUT OUT TO YOU SIS! It looked incredible. She has made me want to go to Bangladesh so badly now lol
It’s in the blood of Bangladeshi wives..if you come to my home my mother would do the same.they tend to give their 100%effort in cooking to please the guests..
What I love about this man is that he doesn't just show us the food but also his personality. The way he was talking so respectfully with the woman, avoiding eye contact tell us how much well mannered and well raised he is. He should be protected at all costs ❤️

My mouth kept watering the whole time while I watched this video! I've been watching Mark's channel for years now but this series will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you Mark for showing me such beautiful glimpses of the country where my paternal grandparents were born. They were very young when they came to India with their families during the Partition and never had an opportunity to go back for a visit. I've never been to Bangladesh myself but I've heard so much about it from them. I wish they were still alive so I could show them this video. It was amazing to see the familiar food, the similar eating habits and the best part was being able to understand both languages that were spoken in this video. Many thanks to the hosts as well for giving Mark such a warm welcome..lots of love from an Indian machhe bhaate bangali.. 😀😀
Petuk couples have such a big heart, in dhaka city making all this food cost a lot of money ! And I so appreciate that they give Mark a proper welcome to our country 🇧🇩Lots of respect, lists of people have money but don’t have the heart to spend it for a total stranger! Love from nyc
Mark has such a charming personality. He makes every food culture, that he brings to us, seem like the best he's tasted! This Bangladesh family is so joyful. I love all your videos, Mark Wiens!
I love to see the food of the locals, how they eat and how they live. Yes, these reflect their culture. This vdo is not just for entertaining and also for educating. I like how Mark can adapt himself into the locals' way of lives. He is very down to earth, humble and respect in every situation he's in.
I have a bengali friend/co worker. Anytime he invites me over he lays out the table in a similar fashion. With many different types of dishes and white rice. Bengalis are very friendly.
You are most welcome, Brother. I am a Bangladeshi living in Texas. Will love to connect with you and maybe show you the beauty of Bangladesh one-day inshaAllah.
Seriously the most genuine guy I’ve seen on UA-cam in so long , Idk how anyone can have anything negative to say about him , he appreciates other people’s cultures and food , he enjoys it and is always open to trying whatever, really nice to see because it’s so hard to find that now a days.
I had a great time in Dhaka in 2008. The people were so incredibly friendly and welcoming. During that time it was hard to find a guesthouse that would let foreigners sleep there. So i had to stay at a more fancy Hotel. The streetfood was amazing and luckily i gained an iron belly in India before my visit 😄
So so proud to see this Mark! As a Bangladeshi food writer and author who is trying to highlight the uniqueness of our cuisine I am so happy to see you visit Bangladesh and try the food and present our food culture with your usual enthusiasm and appreciation. 🙏❤️

First time watching Bangladesh and it's food from Pakistan 🇵🇰. Absolutely the food looks so promising and delicious, in Pakistan we have many similar dishes with chicken, mutton and beef (served with wheat roti/Naan) instead of rice. But Bangladesh have many varieties of fish, specially Hilsha fish seems delicious. I must say Bangladeshi people are very hospitable :) Sending prayers from Pakistan 🇵🇰
