    I have the Solo Ranger.
I just realized the lid for my Weber Smokey Joe fits it perfectly.
I'm going to try it out tonight.

This very good, easy to follow instruction on putting out the fire in a SOLO Stove the right way.

When I first saw the stove and pool I was hoping the method to put out the fire was to throw the stove in the pool. Guess not. 🤪
All joking aside, the cover also prevent any overnight rain from an unexpected pop up wet weather.

Haha, yes it could have been a very short video! I love the lid. Just used it last night in fact when we were done and the fire was still smoldering at the bottom. Thanks for watching!

This product would have been better if more completely packaged if for nothing else, for Safety. To have included a lid seems like a no brainer to me. But no ash guard either? I’m surprised to find that these are separate purchases.

Couldnt you just leave the guard on instead of the lid?

Hi Jay- yes you could and that would definitely be better than leaving it completely uncovered. One issue would be any wind could still blow some of the ash around and out of the solo stove after the fire burns out. Also if you DO get some rain or drizzle overnight the lid will protect the inside of the stove. It’s just a more solid option in my opinion. Thanks for watching!

What if you don’t have a lid or a shield?

You can let the solo stove fire burn out naturally on its own, it just takes longer until I feel comfortable leaving it unattended without the lid. Thanks!

Metal garbage can lid! That's what I use. And it has a handle. C'mon guys! When you make a handle attachment modification , I'll order a nice one from you!

Where did you get the fire protector piece under the fire pit that is protecting the ground?

The fire mat is: amzn.to/45mdf3N The solo stove stand is: amzn.to/3MOSO8J

For the little one just have your group blow on it all at once just make sure you're prepared for smoke

WHY didn't they putt a handle on the lid? Quite annoying. Love my Bonfire though.

So you can use it as a table when cooled.

It’s for safety, a handle on the lid would encourage people to grab it like a kitchen pot lid, and there is no handle that could stay cool enough to grab
