She is 100% killing them. Ramshorn snails are completely aquatic animals. Yes they can stay outside of the water but when their skin dries up they die.

It drives me crazy that you cant buy aquatic plants without ending up with snails appearing in your tank. And im sick of them wrecking my beautiful aquatic garden
I had a huge infestation of baby ramshorn snails in my 5.5 gallon planted tank. I was squishing 6-8 a day and I could not get rid of them fast enough. There were always more eggs and more snails hiding in my plants. After weeks of fighting them, I had a huge explosion of algae and decided to treat the tank with some Algaefix as a temporary solution while I experimented with lighting hours. The next day the substrate was covered in lifeless white shells and I haven't seen a single ramshorn since then. I'm not sure if this would get rid of more mature ramshorns, but babies are very vulnerable to chemical warfare. Just make sure you remove any inverts you want to keep in the tank beforehand and do a complete waterchange after treatment.
I've got a genuine question; would it be plausible to boil or smash some snails into a paste to feed my fish? Like you'd do with boiled egg yolk or shrimp brine? I've got a separate ramshorn tank that's starting to get a bit overpopulated, and I thought it'd be both a waste and a shame to just yeet the excess snails into the trash. Would it be beneficial for the fish?
Uhhh...I never thought of that before, but actually a good question XD It depends what kind of fish you're feeding them to. There would definitely be a risk of fish eating the shards of shell and being cut internally. I would say probably don't. But if you have fish that would eat the snails normally (such as loaches or pea puffers) by all means give it to them. Just maybe not in a paste form ;)
I don't have anything else to do with them and I have so many. I just throw them out with the plants I trim. Currently I have gotten to the point where they have stayed at a low population and I haven't had to get rid of any.
