Stratagem 1: Airstrike

Two Stratagem Jammers next to each other should be illegal.
I know right. Just imagine if there was also a gunship facility or something else in that area.
I got yesterday exactly this, two jammers and between them doubled gunship factories covered on top by mortar emplacements...sometimes game trolls us hard especially when I run solo or with my friend only. Sometimes I pitty my keyboard...😁
@@TheLexyra It's just crazy to me that it's possible for all 5 side objectives to spawn next to each other.
Right at the beginning I feel that brother. AIM looked on point but still almost got wasted by that devastator. Sheeeesh 😅

14:31 I switched to the scorcher recently so that I could take out gunships without bringing EATs cuz I'm sick of getting a direct hit and it doing nothing like this

@@monocyte2210 Me three. I've had too many times dropping into a rando mission, with gunships already swarming around, and giving me no chance to call down my Quasar.
The heavy devestators are crazy when they're in groups of 2 or more lol. But getting 2 jammers side by side is crazy. Ive only seen that twice (this video being one of them) and it felt like it took way too long to take both down

I think the railgun needs two things to become really useful. First, a zoomable scope like the Liberator’s crosshair. That would be so much nicer than a dot that doesn’t magnify anything. Second, enough durable damage to one shot a gunship engine at full charge. In terms of durable damage, I think the railgun should be between the AMR and AC at safe charge, roughly on par with the AC at unsafe charge, and noticeably stronger than the AC at full. That would slowly shift the railgun’s weakness from ammo capacity to charge time and eventually self destruction risk. As of right now, the railgun is only viable to pair with the scorcher vs bots unless you have a buddy or you bring EATs, and as a DCS + jump pack enjoyer that likes to have 2 red stratagems available, that really sucks for me.
Very skilled gameplay and you were given tough to clear objective to boot (double jammers). You made it look easy.
It just frustrates me that the railgun struggles with gunships. If the AMR can reliably take down a gunship with 3 to 4 shots to the engine, at minimum the railgun should do the same or even faster considering it is supposed to be the more powerful gun.
Insane gaming, not every helldive is this difficult and chaotic, but this is something else. For first 12 minutes couldn't blink and check if i wàs watching video on1.5x speed. Gameplay like doom eternal.
Sent it to my gf, she was panicking while just sitting and watching. Nerves of steel :)
Railgun is so satisfying, unfortunately cant deal with gunships
I'd rather see 2 jammers than 2 Gunship Fabricators.
Question- if you dropped in (with this loadout) on a double gunship fab and had gunship patrols as a modifier what would be your strategy? Run, regroup, get your call-ins? Or would you just not run this loadout knowing gunships are patrolling?
I think that this loadout is more than capable of dealing with multiple gunship patrols. Usually you will see 2 gunships in every patrol, so if you can hit your rockets consistently, then you will have no problem killing them.
Lucky you didn’t had any gunship objectif the way you struggle to get one down is absurd tailgun is a sub amr

That was probably my favorite moment of the entire mission. It felt really satisfying killing a factory strider like that.

14:20 I think you found the bot main character. That guy had too much plot armor. Two eats plus a million railgun rounds?
The railgun needs to be able to dmg gunships at a more consistent rate or it just can’t compete with the auto cannon or even hmg anymore. Which is a shame cause it is fun.
As much as I wish the railgun could do more against gunships, I think it definitely competes against the autocannon. It reliably one shots pretty much any other bot, and you can also use the shield pack since the railgun doesn't need a backpack to reload.
@@Mute_R6 yes having a backpack slot is nice, but you now have to bring eats or something else to deal with gunships, which still uses another stratagem slot. Before gunships I agree it was a balanced trade off with AC and RG, but now I feel the scale tips too much. If the RG could reliably kill a gun ship in 4 or 5 shots I think it would be ok. But that’s not where things are now.
@@svn5510 That is why I bring the eat-17 to kill the gunships. Personally, I would rather bring the railgun and have an easier way to kill devastators and hulks, and use the eat-17 to kill any gunships.
I personally prefer the scorcher so i can take down gunships. If you hit them from sideways they go down faster
The EATs can be useful against tanks also so i think its an ok tradeoff
