There is nothing I hate more than having to use lightning spells and fire spells together, i'm okay with one or the other but I hate mixing them up personally.
I accidentally showed the further beyond build using storm elemental in the build. It does, in fact, use fire elemental. Some points of Clarification: I said in that in the Abom Shock build we're essentially only using chain lightning and earthquake for aoe which is true, but we also use primordial wave and lava burst during the burst window with Stormkeeper whenever we can to trigger the 4 piece set bonus for chain lightning damage. Also I called Earthshrine the elemental shaman discord. It's not, it's the discord for ALL shaman specs. Just kinda word vomited at the end there.
With the recent change scheduled to happen to the 4set; Amirdrassil, the Dream’s Hope (4) Set Bonus has been redesigned - When consuming Primordial Wave and for 10 seconds afterwards, Lava Burst burns your target for 25% additional damage over 4 seconds, and for 10 seconds each cast of Chain Lightning causes your next Lava Burst to hit up to 3 additional targets affected by your Flame Shock for 100% of normal damage. Do you think this is overall a buff? or is it kind of just like eh whatever.
Theres a new 4 piece on the ptr for shaman now as per wowhead: When consuming Primordial Wave and for 10 sec after using Primordial Wave, Lava Burst burns your target for 25% additional damage over 4 sec, and for 10 sec each cast of Chain Lightning causes your next Lava Burst to hit up to 3 additional targets affected by your Flame Shock for 100% of normal damage.
Yup, went up about 2 hours after I posted the video. Most of what I said still applies, but the 4p got a hell of a boost for fire builds. Especially in aoe.
I honestly wish the primordial wave would splash flame shock on 4 targets within a 10 yard range. Also, maelstrom is capped like 100% of the time during the primordial wave.
has anyone else had the problem that elemental blast doesn't overload at all in any situation? I had over 200 casts and not a single overload. Is it bugged or did something change? I'm a returning player (7 month gap) but the tooltip for mastery states that elemental blast should overload. pls explain. ty
if they were to take asendance out of where DRE is i think they need to reduce the CD for asendance to 1.5 min cd thats what it was in legion and it was fun to use
I know you don't usually talk about drama or any other community related things. You usually just stick to the game. I was wondering do you think Ele is going to get a rework due to the issues presented by the spec by being so proc heavy and how Automatic hotkey macros work. This has been a recent topic brought up due to PVP cheating. If you have an opinion on it, I would just love to hear it. If it isn't something you have an opinion on, that is cool. Just want to hear the opinion of a primary ele player.
Maybe it could become an issue in the future? It has before for other classes such as when rogues or hunters were able to put their entire rotations in a macro and just bind it to mouse wheel. But for the moment this seems to be something that looks to only really be beneficial in pvp. Tbf, you CAN macro you're entire rotation into one button once you get your ascendance going in the further beyond build but I wouldn't call that optimal game-play and you don't need AHK specifically to do it, just a macro. TL:DR I don't really see It becoming an issue in PVE content as of now and I doubt it would ever be able to outperform someone not using a macro such as that. But stranger things have happened so who knows what the future holds.
@@ridmarkgaming -- I play niche specs like ele and Survival so I don't like the idea of playing well being attributed to cheating because there are so little of us. I always have felt good players play ele and don't want it to be a gimmick spec because of some cheaters.

I really wish that the classes that don't bring any Raid utility (like shamans and hunters) would hit hard, otherwise why bring them to raids...
Or just give us something that makes people say, "Oh we have an ele in the group? Let's gooooo" and not sarcastically.
