Great Video clip! Apologies for the intrusion, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you considered - Tarbbatigan Cars Rehabilitation Tip (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is a great one of a kind product for learning how to repair your car the easy way minus the hard work. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my GF at last got astronomical results with it
"It's styled like a hot hatch so it should have an e-brake that you can rip on so that you can do things that are not appropriate." - Big Sarah This is the coolest quote ever and I cannot agree more, plus I just love the simplicity of a regular cabled e-brake and traditional handle/pedal/whatever. You know how to put it on, know how to take it off, know when it's on, know when it's not and don't have to use a Konami code to make it function.
I luv my older cars with proper hand E brakes in the center console which is cable actuated. The electronic ones are so irritating. E brake turns in a front wheel drive car can be monumental amounts of fun.
I'm repeating myself, but I really love your car reviews just as much as your project car videos. Adding Little Sarah has been an added bonus. I love her facial expressions especially in your acceleration (when you-re testing a car that can actually accelerate) and braking tests. With Little Sarah you don't need a G-force meter, her face says it all. You also take us to great places and have interesting shots and perspectives to show us. I'm looking forward to the next car test.
2.0 NA 168 horse? That’s great! In the Netherlands we get a 1.2 Turbo with 120 hp .... a 1.8 Hybrid from the Prius and a new 2.0 hybrid with 180 horse. But not a high(er) power manual. We should honestly get the boxer motor from the FRS & BRZ planted in this baby. And the Ford Focus ST and RS are on there way.
We got in some 0W-16 Valvoline Synpower at the parts store and I said to my self, "What on earth kind of engine uses this stuff." A Toyota of course. Thank you for answering one of lifes important questions.
@Dethmuerte I'm not too familiar with this engine specifically, but generally speaking, Japanese manufacturers have larger tolerances than European vehicles, one of the reasons they've historically been pretty reliable. All manufacturers are moving to lower weight oils, it's an efficiency thing. Less pumping loss, lower film strength, coupled with low tension piston rings and low friction bearings and you end up with an assembly that spins a lot easier. It's been the case for several years, and unfortunately so far it's been a bit of a trade off of efficiency vs longevity. Manufacturers are still getting the shift to extreme efficiency worked out. This applies to engines with higher outputs too, it's not just about economy. Several European engines have active valving to regulate created oil pressure to a minimum, allowing for a 'thicker' oil with lower pumping loss. It's a great setup when the engine is new and everything is working as designed.
It’s always fun when the two sarahs do it there is more vibrance and besides I get to experience the both of of their weird sides all at the same time cause honestly I absolutely love the 2 sides to the review it provides me with two kinds of people
Test drove one of these recently, and I gotta say that in an older city with shorter, smaller roads the relative lack of power makes this thing incredibly fun! You can rev it out during normal commuting while still staying (mostly) under the speed limit. Better driving dynamics for my taste than the new Mazda3 6MT!
As usual, your reviews rock! It’s the only review that I as a regular average driver (who was an SAE member in college) can relate to. You’re right about the tight headroom. Had a rented camry last month and kept hitting my coconut on the headliner. No bueno! Had a 94 corolla (badged as a Geo Prizm). Bulletproof but performance was not even 1/2 bean
You guys are hilarious and goofy but I really enjoy your videos Sarah. Your dry sense of humor has me in stitches."the warehouse girl" lol. Its nice to see car videos with girls and also I like your MR2. My friend had a 1985 MR2 with the 1.6 16V 4A-GE motor that revved to 7800rpm. It was a blast to drive with sharp handling and excellent engine but a little cramped inside.
Great review, Sarah. I really enjoy the scenery and sound track in your review videos. The car is pretty nice looking and has lots of features. It could use more power though. That blue color reminds me of the Nitrous Blue Focus RS. It's also nice that you include Lil' Sarah in your videos. She adds just the right touch. Keep it up. Love your channel.
I drove a 72 corolla in high school and it was just so fun to drive the little 60hp 5 speed. I don't know why I never got another one. I guess it wasn't large enough for a family back then.
Rented a Nissan Sentra CVT to go to SEMA one year and had to instruct at Buttonwillow the next weekend. It rained and the Sentra owned on the track. I started tracking a first gen Neon. Slow cars make better drivers.
Hey! What a fun review- a road trip. And you picked such fun music for it, too! It's so entertaining to have both of you in the car reviews. It's just so much fun. One thing you could start to include in your reviews- how nice and cold is the air conditioning in that thing? In hot weather like that I always like a car that blasts large volumes of ice cold air at my face. But some cars just kind of sneeze cool air towards me and that's not enough. Anyway- just my two cents. Love from Michigan!
@ 6:38 That Toyota Caldina 🔥🔥🔥 You guys get cool points for knowing that car and posting it. That car is one of my dream cars lots of people don’t know how cool that car is. About the corolla I think it looks awesome and fun to drive and it will be reliable is the icing on the cake
I’ve watched all the car reviews/vlogs and really enjoy the chemistry you two have. You should really have a blooper video, just so we can enjoy more of your shenanigans! Keep up the awesome reviews and vlogs!
Slow cars are the best way to learn how to REALLY drive... You have to always be up in the revs, learn how to turn with momentum, know how to brake and keep speed... I "Learned" how to drive in a 97 VW Jetta 2.0. The slowest car known to man, but I could outdrive people in faster cars because I knew my car and how she needed to be driven. I'ts a shame because I owned a Chrysler Conquest TSI before the Jetta. Sarah, I love the show. Please keep doing what your doing.
It is a really sharp interior! I really ❤the Sarah×2 reviews too. Met skin cookies😄, brake tests😄, cute cargo😊, I also love you sharing the scenery😍. Not a bad looking car, love the wheels. Keep up the great quality videos.
Someone who knows how to drive whether they were taught or are gifted can take a slow car and beat you in a race car. My driving instructor at Bondurant was driving a 4 door Mitsubishi Galant showing me how to corner. I was in a formula ford following him, I couldn't keep up if he wanted to loose me.......and I'm a pretty good driver.
Great review as always. I’ve watched all the reviews I can find on this Corolla and you are the only one that has pointed out that it takes 0-16w oil. Props! Maybe that’s why Toyota is offering 2 years free maintenance🤷🏻♂️I’m thinking of trading in my 06 Cobalt SS/SC for one of these or a Focus ST. The reason I am leaning toward the Corolla is reliability. I feel it would make a better long term daily, so once it’s paid off I can pick up a fun weekend/track car. Thanks for the video and keep the content awesome!
Hector Pujols Actually the CVT is quick and has 10-Speeds in Sport Mode, Manually shiftable and close ratios so rallying through curves you can stay in the power easily.
Yes, yes it is. I had a Seat 900 (Spanish Fiat) in England in the 80's, 900cc IL4, 4 speed clutch, fun as HELL to drive fast on all the back country A roads (speed limits up to 60mph, and being a Seat, the speedo was metric, so, 100-ish Kph), but not the boring motorways (the M1 was brutally boring).
Sarahx2, you're videos have fantastic production value. Top Gear, eat your heart out! PJ O'Rourke said that the fastest car was the one that wasn't your own
Drove my wife's mom's '11 Corolla for a week. Like you said On the highway it was terrible but, on the city roads it was pretty fun. I do way too much highway driving to even consider something like this. Great review all together still
Wow finally a fun looking Corolla Hatch! Used have JDM Corolla RunX with the 2ZZ-GE 1800.... what fun loving rev with that Beams! ... miss it now 11 years later... 😔
I love the review you guys together are the best lil Sarah is so much fun her expression are funny. Keep the videos coming I hope the project cars are going good as well
Does little Sarah have a UA-cam channel as well? Just curious. I've been watching your videos for quite a while so I figured I would show her channel some love as well! Keep up the great work both of you! Take care.
I've always had more fun wringing a lower powered car out like a wet rag then trying to stifle my inner 16 year old driving a ridiculously over powered car. Driving a relatively under powered NB2 Miata at the moment and I've never had so much fun =) Great review as always! Thanks!
If you're looking for a fun twisty road not too far away from you, try Hwy 191 to Alpine AZ! Take something that gets a higher bean score than the Corolla, though :-)
Congratulations on your channel. Great mix of fun, sexy and humor with a lot of very legit content! Serious content not taking yourself seriously! Keep it like this! You got a new French fan from Switzerland!
LOVE the color of that car. Reminds me of the Hyper Blue BRZ I used to have. Great looking little hatch, just needs a little more grunt under the hood.
Lil Sarah!! ❤️ Yeah, it’s what I expect from the Crayola. The only thing appealing is the colour. So envious of your surroundings! Not to mention the weather! We’re still getting snow up here. Freakin April and still snowing... 😔 Keep them coming!!
Interesting video Sarah’s 😂 I was Born in Nogales Arizona I lived there till I was 5 and My parents decided to move to Southern California I use to go to that lake when I was a child keep up the good work and as always keep the videos coming👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼✌️
I agree on the safety equipment I think all safety equipment should be standard. That was an awesome review I really enjoy watching both do young ladies do these reviews you a good team
I agree with you that safety shouldn't be an option on vehicles. In this day and age it should be standard. It's like a corporate thing where saving your life and preventing an accident should cost you money. Give me a break! Toyota seems to get it. Enjoyed seeing the both of you in this good review.
Wait. You can get this in a manual???? I want everyone to know that I started watching this channel over a year ago, because *THIS* channel is going to be BIG AF one day soon. The car reviews are just awesome. Dual Sara's (I'm fond of the smaller version) is best!
Yeh, slow cars would be more fun with you 2 to share the journey. It would take longer to get there and we all know that if your enjoying something you don’t want it to end! It’s not the car that would provide the excitement!
This was almost my new camera car!
I love that you both are doing more videos together. :)
Always great when we get twice the awesomeness.
So it got 2 beans? lol The best part is they both got gas for $1.29 Tacos that is....

Port and direct injected! Sarah you are the only one that understands how important the mechanical details are and your reviews are true quality.
"It's styled like a hot hatch so it should have an e-brake that you can rip on so that you can do things that are not appropriate."

Lol... The super troopers line had me rollin! 😂
Love little Sarah! May the horse be with her!
I know you worry about lack of views on review vids, but I certainly enjoy them!
It's hard to make quality content these days when clickbait seems to be the only thing that gets the algorithms spinning.
@@SarahnTuned yourself and Little Sarah doing what you do is all the clickbait your real followers need! Keep it weird 😋
I'm repeating myself, but I really love your car reviews just as much as your project car videos. Adding Little Sarah has been an added bonus. Fantastic review/roadtrip Sarah + Sarah! You should do more of these! Thanks!
We got in some 0W-16 Valvoline Synpower at the parts store and I said to my self, "What on earth kind of engine uses this stuff." A Toyota of course. Thank you for answering one of lifes important questions.
Fyi... Idemitsu is the factory fill on all Toyota's.
@@AppleJack76 Haven't seen that weight in the Idemitsu yet. But their line is always expanding.
@Dethmuerte If it's a Toyota engine, a rule of thumb is to always use the factory recommended brand and weight of oil. OR it will surely end badly .
@Dethmuerte I'm not too familiar with this engine specifically, but generally speaking, Japanese manufacturers have larger tolerances than European vehicles, one of the reasons they've historically been pretty reliable.

@Dethmuerte I guess that would depend on diet.
Your reviews get better and better, keep it up gals.
Starting to love that lil Sarah, in these review vids. Have her drive a few things, you girls are a great team & you have great chemistry.
Not bad for 24k , very good explanation of all the details, and good road trip scenes, great job sarah times 2
MET SKIN COO KEYS had me dying
4:40 and 4:56 - Subliminal Sarah told me to like and subscribe but I had already done both.
Thank you for the nature and scenic footage!
Little Sara is such a goofball!! Love that about her. Plus she is fun-sized like me, thats always a bonus. Great video ladies.

I enjoy my 2004 Manual Corolla go this day. Runs like a clock. Love it!
Deciding to put your small partner in crime in the trunk when you're planning to cross the Mexican border is one of the reasons we love both of you!
As usual, your reviews rock! It’s the only review that I as a regular average driver (who was an SAE member in college) can relate to.

Got this thing as a hybrid. I love this car.
Awesome! 2 Sarahs day! Great review. Who knew the Corolla came with a little Sarah in the trunk? FYI, in Spanish you'd say uno frijole, lol.
You guys are hilarious and goofy but I really enjoy your videos Sarah. Your dry sense of humor has me in stitches."the warehouse girl" lol. This soundtrack is amazing!
Fly like an eagle! 😂😂😂 Love that song! Great video you two!!!! Greetings from Puerto Rico!
The pilot show to Little House on the Prairie was filmed just east of Sonoita .
That orange elastic under the trunk cover is to hang the spare tyre cover while you take the spare tyre out.

Great fun to road trip with the two of you. Slow, nice little car.
That Sandra Bullock Smile! 9:09
Good job ladies! They say it is more fun to drive a slow car/motorcycle fast then a fast one slow, I agree with you.
I'll say it again; long hair makes the best braking 'g' meter.
Yes!!!!
Sarah2nd really needs her own UA-cam channel. Second/Tuned

Watch your head “Tall Sarah” and glad you got to see a horse “Pony-Sarah” 😂
It’s a Bug’s Life Worse than fake chrome, that supposed to make it look like it has dual exhaust! #FakeDualExhaust #SHAME!SHAME!SHAME!!
This video format a fantastic keep up the great work
I love your reviews. So great you made this into a road trip. This inspires me to go on some road trips with some friends and enjoy life
I give the Sara’s 5 beans! Great job, always a pleasure to watch your reviews.
Lil' Sarha...had me busting a gut with "you boys ever been to Mexico?" ROFL!!!
Loved the fun you guys have. One of the best videos yet. 👍👍👍
I love that MR2 shirt! It is awesome to see a new manual car because I just thought they were gone for good.
Very good enjoyed the trip and appreciate your honesty
I love it when you talk nerdy to me Sarah ;). Also that food in Nogales looks bomb!! Now I am hungry!!
I put horizontal reflectors in the fake chrome exhaust bezels. They look like factory reflectors on my black XSE 6-speed. I love this car!!
"Something just died in the door pocket" You hardly ever hear that anymore.

Road trip, car review, and Sarah's....AWESOME combination!!
My wife's favourite colour. The only problem is I would have to get her the automatic. So it would only get half a Bean

Love Sarah Ann! Sweet review too!
You're right about new vehicle prices. My last 4 vehicles have been new. My next one won't be.
you can leave both feet on the ground sarah, your tall and gorgeous anyhow! :)

Nice to see little Sarah has Wales’s National Flower one her shoulder, the Daffodil 🏴🏴
I've always had more fun wringing a lower powered car out like a wet rag then trying to stifle my inner 16 year old driving a ridiculously over powered car.
Driving a relatively under powered NB2 Miata at the moment and I've never had so much fun =)
Great review as always! Thanks!
It's a SloRolla. Maybe Toyota should so some sort of TRD Edition. Great video Sarah and Sarah x2.
Great review as always, Sarah. Lil' Sassy Sarah seems like she is a real bundle of fun!
Slow or not, I love the look of this Corolla. It just looks awesome. Great work on the video girls!
Ian Lau it’s not slow it’s fun to zip around.

LOVE the color of that car. Reminds me of the Hyper Blue BRZ I used to have. Great looking little hatch, just needs a little more grunt under the hood.
Awesome review...love the comedy and the review! You gals rock!
Informative review, 5 beans for both Sarah's.
Stop with all the beautiful scenery. You're making me miss living in AZ
Lil Sarah!! ❤️
Yeah, it’s what I expect from the Crayola. The only thing appealing is the colour.
So envious of your surroundings! Not to mention the weather! We’re still getting snow up here. Freakin April and still snowing... 😔
Keep them coming!!

perfect idea!! road trip !!! corollas and road trips are synonymous
I agree on the safety equipment I think all safety equipment should be standard. That was an awesome review I really enjoy watching both do young ladies do these reviews you a good team
Little Sarah you may have missed your calling. Comedy is in your blood.🤣🤣🤣 Ladies great review Take care
Mines will be in a few days, ordered some giant TRD stickers and a limited edition badges :D stickers add 20 hp guaranteeeed
Hi from England.. You both would be so funny presenting the English car show called top gear your what they need.... Keep up the amazing work... Dave.
