Is it too much to ask for a heater utilizing magnets as a means of placement instead of those cheaply “never last” rubber suction cups😤? Why isn't this a standard like on some magnetized thermometers?
What an excellent point. Now I am trying to figure out if I can 'rig' it as such. Thank you!

I've had my 2 fluval e series heaters for over 5 years and the suctions cups still holding great, why should I change? Also no cage around the heater, my fish break heaters!!
Been testing these great heaters much better than the one previous
I really like that On/ Off feature. Means if you want to do a really big water change, you can without worrying about unplugging heaters.
Technically no because you should let the heater cool down for about 10 minutes before removing water.
I wouldn't risk that, best to just unplug it.
Sound's great!
Five⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👊👊🔥🔥🔥💯💯❤️❤️ for the heaters
Other than the exposed to air cutoff, I don't see any advantage over the E series.
you didnt fall for the "submersable" thing then? lol
Plenty of advantages.
The E has to be positioned a certain way or you get LF.
Trying to adjust my E after a couple years underwater, that lever is now brittle and stiff.
That screen is cool, but its a flashlight at night.
I might actually replace my E series with one of these.
No cage, I have 2 in my tank, not changing from e series! Also I don't need a thermometer!!!
@@100bgeagle What do you mean about "no cage"? I'm new and trying to decide between T series and E series. Any advice is appreciated.
Sweet. I can't wait to get these in my fish room for my smaller set up's.
My t50 was set to 23 but I noticed it had climbed up to 23.8 so I assumed that it was accuracy error on my part, so I dialed it back expecting to see the blue light cut in but didn’t. I have it now set to 22 but the red light has been on permanently since Iv had it in and the temp is still 23.8 🤷🏼♂️ confused
Hi Chris! It can take a little while for changes in water temperature to take effect. Also, please note that your thermometer may be slightly innaccurate as well! If you have questions about your T Series heater, feel free to contact our customer support team: fluvalaquatics.com/us/contact-us/
@@fluval I have multiple tanks so I know my thermometer is accurate I had the heater set to 23 and it climbed up to 26 and was going to continue if I didn’t take it out.
I just bought a T200 and it came with two small plastic pieces that are not shown in the directions. I made a return trip to the "fish store" and they had no idea what they are for.
Hi there! The pieces included with the heater are the spacer kits, which can be added to provide room between the heater and the glass / other equipment for optimized heat distribution and performance.
Fluval should make a bigger model of this as its a good heater that just needs a bigger range of models.
I’m so tired of calibrating the eheim heaters. I had one put it away for a couple years and now O can’t calibrate it worth a crap.Lets see how I make out with this
Very cool!😍
Still like my E300 Advanced Electronic Heater, 300 w
These brackets will fail with horizontal installation. They are thin as possible and the heat just makes them give. Mine just failed after a couple months. Just unplugged it for a water change and it won’t come back on. :(
Hi! I have a question, can i submerge de heater completly?
Absolutely! 👌
do you think this type of heater in the 200 watt will work with my inkbird heater controller ??
Hi there! We've never personally tested that product, so we'd recommend reaching out to its manufacturer to find out!
Fresh Water only? Can the T Series be used in Salt water tanks ?
Hi Robert! T Series heaters can be used in marine aquariums, but as with any electrical equipment near saltwater, extreme caution should be taken!
Everything Fluval is always high end though decided to go with Aquael Ultra
Excepted there air pumps
I'm puzzled by how this product fits into your line of heaters. You hail it as a "revolution in aquarium heating," but with its analog dial it seems like it's big a step backward from the precise control we get with the E series, not to mention the latter's digital display.
What am I missing? Can you explain the advantages over the E series?
Available in Australia in 2043....
Sweet!
Can this be use in Saltwater Sump?
Hi Michael, yes they can! That said, when any electrical equipment is being used around saltwater, extreme caution should be taken.
Beginner here :-). I went to the store to buy an E series for our first aquarium. When I got home, I realized I purchased the T series which, I didn’t even know existed until now. Trying to do some research - can someone give me the comparison points between the T- series of the E-series? Ignoring cost, who would want the T-series over the E-series and vice versa? TIA!
Hi there! T Series heaters are fully electronic, have a 360-degree light ring, and an auto shut-off feature to help protect your fish. E Series heaters are also electronic, feature the VueTech alert system, and possess a protective casing to prevent your fish from touching the heater core. Both are great options, but if your aquarium doesn't have strong flow, the T Series may be the better choice! You can learn more on our website: fluvalaquatics.com/us/ 😎
What does it mean when the blue light flashes. I’ve seen it do it when dropping the water level lower , so should turn off, and when changing temp . Thanks
Hi Matthew, always ensure to turn off all equipment before beginning aquarium maintenance! Please contact our customer support team for assistance: fluvalaquatics.com/us/contact-us/
Can these heaters be used in saltwater aquariums.
Hi John! Yes, you can use T Series heaters in saltwater aquariums.
I like the indicator, but electronic and still includes a dial/rheostat that has to be sealed from water ? The most likely leak point.
Eheim Jager are the best IV used n Iv used tons of different makes models ect I got a aqua medic titanium heater a 100watt one it cost me twice the price of a eheim Jager I had it Ina 100ltr tank it won't rise the heat not one bit n its on 247 it says its for upto 250ltr tanks online and on box says 150ltrsbut can't heat up a 100ltr very disapointedso when bk to using my jagers IV tryed fluvalsn marina there both crap
I've tried most if them too. The last fluval M series heater I bought blew up in my hand. Replaced it with a eheim and it's still being used today going on 6 years.
i have had mine sense they were Ebo Jager and still running stronge.they used to be made in germany but don't know now sense Eheim bot them out.there all i buy just about bullet proof.
the Jager costs more to run and costs more to buy. And only lasted 2 years, to me, that isn't the best.
Has your fluval marine 3.0 light unit changed since 2019 model in UK? I just purchased one last week and noticed under side of the unit is now glass and my previous model had plastic and it’s 100g heavier. Can you let me know please. Thanks
Good catch! We have indeed replaced the plastic lens with glass, as the glass provides better light transmission and provides even longer term waterproofing performance.
So basically I'm finding mine is constantly on blue.
Doesn't turn off out of water.
Hi there, we're sorry to hear about this! We encourage you to return the unit to the retailer from which you purchased it for troubleshooting and replacement if necessary. You can also contact our customer support team for assistance: fluvalaquatics.com/us/contact-us/
Hello! Can I use this heater in a saltwater aquarium?
Hi there, yes you can! As always, exercise caution when using any electrical equipment in saltwater applications.
No gunshot sounds?
What about smaller ones for three, five and ten gallon
Oh Cindy , you either gotta look elsewhere , if that is okay ? 💙💚
Hi Cindy, the T50 is a great choice for 10 gallon aquariums! For smaller tanks, we recommend our P Series heaters: fluvalaquatics.com/us/p-series/
my 300 watt heater broke but was swapped straight away by the retailer, Also we in the UK do not get the optional spacer kit, so come on Hagen UK it,s us the customer who pays for the equipment, i want the spacer kit as my heater is fixed to the side glass due to my 3d background
Why does my heater switch on and off red?
Hi there! The 360° indicator light ring on T Series heaters is red when the heating function is engaged and blue when the desired temperature is achieved.
What if both red and blue isn’t on?
It's possible the light is on but you can't see it - try turning off the room and aquarium lights. If it's still not on, please contact our customer support team for assistance: fluvalaquatics.com/us/contact-us/
Are these going to be available in the uk
Yes they are! They should be available for sale in the UK in the next couple of weeks. 👍
I have one T300 mounted in my 90 gallon aquarium. I have it mounted vertically with the bottom of the heater 1" above my sand substrate. Would it be better to mount this heater at a 45* Angle ?
Hi there! The current installation sounds good to us. 👌

E series is still the best
Got the 150, impressed with it over the Eheim. It's very accurate, the blue/red feature is great too. It holds the temperature for longer, and this saves money on my electric bill over a year.
The Eheim was always drawing power, 60-110 watts over the day, whereas, the T150, it draws 140watts for a few mins and then it's off for a decent amount of time.
According to my watt meter it estimated run cost
Eheim Jager 150 €149 a year & RRP of €35
Fluval T150 € 105 a year & RRP of € 28
A simple but impressive piece of kit.
Thanks so much for the positive feedback! We're thrilled you're satisfied with your T Series heater. 😄
Hopefully they’re better than the E-series
I Love my E-Series going on 9years
I love e series going on 7 years!!!
No thermometer to indicate actual temperature, no facility to see if flow is good, no cage to protect from burns, back to analog temperature adjustment all seems a backward step from the E series.
How about no cage, my fish eat heaters!
T series 😂😂
I have 70 freshwater aquarium sand me 10 to test first for a year. I might buy some for the rest of my aquarium just saying 🤔
I still prefer the old mirrored heaters
M series fluval heaters are the mirrored ones and I've had one running for 3 years with no changes in temps works perfectly very reliable
still too long
Aquarium Co Op heater destroys this one.
How does it do that?
Really? Never seen a aquarium co-op heater advertised, do they attack?
I personally don’t see any advantage to these over the e-series 🫤
Would have been nice to see Fluval make an in-line UV sterilizer attachment for the Fx series canister filters like they did for their 07 series canisters. I know there’s tons of hobbyist that already use e-series heaters, and most likely Fluval AquaskyLED lighting, waiting to get their hands on an Fx6 in-line UV sterilizer! Give the people what they want 🙏🏼🙏🏼
A UVC Clarifier for the FX Series is in development! The process has unfortunately been massively delayed due to global supply chain shortages caused by Covid 19. We promise it's on the way!
