It's alder not mahogany mate. I have the Sweetwater exclusive violet burst differences between it and this bass is 1) matching headstock 2)active emg dc pickups and tone pump 3) swamp ash body wings vs the alder in this one 4) it has black hardware I'm not a fan of the Bart's the one in the video has a 3 band pre amp and it's bass low mids high mids the low mids is a pot in the cavity attached to the pre amp awesome basses all around

What is your opinion on the Spector Euro LT after having it for a month?

@@crazeyjoe I switched out the strings to cobalts for even more brightness. It’s a very complete package with so many tones, likely the best built bass I’ve seen in this price point too.

@@scottwatelet5769 Awesome! Which finish did you choose? Imo, the Euro line of Spector basses competes with basses that are much pricier. NBE, the shop located in Horovice, Czech Republic, produces very high quality instruments. Although they staff more than the 7 folks that work at the USA Spector workshop, thier operation is still not a very large one. They also build basses/instruments for Esh, NS Design, Clover, Stromberg and Jolana.

@@crazeyjoe I chose the Tiger eye. Just amazing workmanship, every detail is spot on. I would love to see the shop in Czech Republic some day to thank the craftspeople who build these wonderful instruments
