I run with the GHS pressure wounds on a Modulus Quantum 5. Love the way they sound and easy on the fingers. They lose brightness quickly, so if you’re playing often, they don’t have more than a 6 month useful life. Also, love the SA Aftershock and their Envelope Filter

If you want more bite and presence, you need the EMG pickups. Preferably, the EMG-X version. The Bartolinis are great, but are a smoother, more "polite" sound. The Aguilar pickups Spector uses sit somewhere in between: a bit more old school than modern hi-fi, but with more grit and sizzle than the Barts. Great playing, by the way!

Hey Jayme, loved this video. I actually ended up getting an Aftershock pedal because of it and I love it! Could you possibly tell me what settings you used for the The Snake? Man you made it sound badass! I also got the song on iTunes because it rocks!
