I'm glad Boyce has let Kay maintain her 'victim' status. Hopefully Larry can testify early on so he can be in the courtroom with her. They need each other to get through this mess. Thanks for the reporting, GL!
Hi Good Lori Thank you for being at the courthouse and keeping us all up to date in what is going on in jury selection! I cannot wait till there is witness testimony and you are able to give us all your thoughts and analysis on testimony given! 🙏🌈
You are rocking it rockstar. Thank you for all the updates. Also, thrilled that Kay qualifies as a victim. THAT was the right decision. XXX Safe travels Mrs. Hellis.XX
Apparently she’s not on the witness list anymore since the DP was dropped. So if she’s not a witness, whether the exclusionary rule applies to her is a moot point. That’s what I read in another comment section anyway.
Happy to here Judge Boyce is allowing Kay to be in Court . Lori will be fuming. Hopefully the family members will get all the support they need to get through both Trials, it won't be easy. GiGi is doing a wonderful job also, thankyou Lori. 💜💙🧡💜💙🇮🇪💚
I keep saying that this judge might surprise all of us during sentencing. It’s the ones that seem most inclined to help the defendant that say the harshest things during sentencing.
What are some reasons, unspoken, that the lawyers are thinking, in order to dismiss Jurors from the qualified pool of 42 people, whittling down to the 12 + 6?
Lawyers take lots of notes during voir dire. Sometimes it's body language, and sometimes something concrete, like a preference or their line of work. Sometimes it's just a gut feeling.
Good question! All 18 will hear all the evidence. At the end, the court will draw lots to seat the 12 that will deliberate. That insures that all the jurors are engaged and paying attention.
I have promised a first draft to my publisher by the end of the year. I hope that Chad's trial will finish by then so I can wrap it into the book. If not, it will be up to my publisher to decide.
@@childrenofdarknessandlight Ok, all respect once again. Even though most of your followers would like to know. I am however, allowed to speculate and draw conclusions. I think it was about money.... In Scott Reich's words, 'It's all about the money. ( I am an over-thinker, and need to draw conclusions in order to move on from topics.) So, I think Lauren did you in regarding a concractual agreement. You felt cheated and hurt and decided to break out on your own. Commendable and I think it's awesome that you have! You have so much support. Why do I think this? There is something a little bit strange about Lauren.... a fakeness that cannot go unnoticed. A camera side, and a personal side. Even her new podcast with her 'babe' husband feels odd, and makes me feel uncomfortable.... he especially always seems on the backfoot.... like the podcast started after a heated argument or something. So I think, she may have done you wrong, and you seeing her true colours and realised you were being used as a mere colletral friend....Just thinking out loud. I have a mouth, and fingertips, therefore I can. x
@@raepenelope5569 Here is what I will say: It was not about money, and there was no contract between Lauren and me, and I never asked for or received money from Lauren. It was Lauren's decision to end our friendship. I missed my interactions with the true crime community and decided to start my own channel. I'm grateful for the warm reception I've received since I started my own channel last October.

Thanks, Lori!!
Thanks so much, Lori.
Hello Good Lori! Good to see you! Thank you for all you do!
You look beautiful! Thank you for all the updates. How is Loris’s demeanor today?
I am concerned that the defence will eliminate anyone with children, particularly women, because of the charges at hand. BLESSINGS
It doesn't appear that was the case.
Thanks for sharing!!! Would’ve loved a pizza party🎉
Thank you.
Thank you!
Thank you
Thank you good Lori! You are so lovely. I’m so glad Kay is allowed to represent J.J. God bless you. Justice for J.J. Tylee, Tami 💔🤍🙏
Thank you for sharing
My pleasure
Is this your channel Lori? I've missed you on UA-cam!!!!!!
I am thankful that Larry and Kay can attend the trial.
Kay, not Larry, I thought
@@lucyclark1301 According to Scott Reisch Larry is allowed in after he testifies, so hopefully state will put him on the witness stand early.
You re a natural! Don't forget to care for yourself and have some fun!❤
Thank you so much!!
Why isn’t Annie Cushing representing Tylee? Is Summer a good choice to represent Tylee please!?
That’s what I thought

Boyce earned some brownie points today with the ruling on Kay, Colby and Summer. There may be hope for him yet!

Thanks GOOD Lori! Wondering who and how they determine which of the 18 will be jury and which will be alternates please?

@@childrenofdarknessandlight Thank you so much and that makes great sense ✅👍
They will have court on Good Friday?
Yes, we heathens in the West don't take off Ash Wednesday, Good Friday or Easter Monday!
This seems to be a day late. Opening statements start Monday.
Are you at courthouse now
I'm at the courthouse every day when court is in session.
Lori I need more info on Larry not being allowed in
Larry will be in the courtroom for opening statements and then can be in once he testifies.
Are you going to wait for Chad's trial or write 2 books?
I have promised a first draft to my publisher by the end of the year. I hope that Chad's trial will finish by then so I can wrap it into the book. If not, it will be up to my publisher to decide.
What happened with the friendship with Lauren Matthais? Can anyone respond please?
I want to know too
I've chosen not to comment.
@@childrenofdarknessandlight I respect that.

Question: would you be interested to be a guest on Nate from EIN evening podcast? I thought it would be great!
Sure, if he asks.

Did Lauren and Babe show up?
Lauren has been there.
are Kay and Larry divorced?
I'm not sure it's really any of our business, but Kay reported that she and Larry were divorced and remarried.
