Also regret the Be free because of a plastic taste contaminating the water kept in the bottle. I switched to a “water to go” filter bottle. Next trip also dumping my water bladder because heavy and inconvenient, switched to a small plastic disposable water bottle clipped on my rucksack strap for use on the go and if needed a larger standard plastic mineral water bottle in my sack to top up as necessary. Carry a sawyer filter in case non potable water. overall its less weight. keep up the good content.
Thank you for the kind words. I have enough trouble with “dirty” tasting water after it’s filtered. I don’t need a plastic or rubber taste on top of that. Cheers!
