    I am a dad and am overweight for my height. I was at my lowest point in life. But ever since watching Chris, I was inspired. I am now entering my 2nd week in basic calisthenics and working out outside in parks or wherever there are bars and starting to eat the right food. I am determined to make this change. Though you are miles away, I just want to say thank you Chris! All love brother.

    For me this is such an eye-opening topic!, It’s fascinating to see how different macronutrient compositions can affect not just our calorie intake, but also our energy levels and overall nutrition. Understanding how to balance proteins, fats, and carbs in our meals can really empower us to make healthier choices. Thank you, Chris!

    Great video, a lot of people need to see this! One thing I hear often from you is that high protein is "healthier", which really isn't the case.
    If you don't hit your protein goal, yes, choose meals with more protein. In any other case, there is nothing wrong with other option. Every meal you presented is a pretty healthy meal. Carbs and fat are equally important macros and all of these ingredients have different micronutrients people have to hit as well. Struggling with omega 3s? Choose a plate with more walnuts, just an example. My point is, more protein doesn't mean "healthier", it just means "more protein".

  • @inviz88
    @inviz88 2 місяці тому +1

    This is probably a dumb question but why do you need carbs at all? Right now I'm obese and on a 10k calorie per week diet. I have 3 eggs for breakfast, salad for lunch and chicken breast with broccoli and carrots for dinner. My idea was that if there are no carbs to burn my body will just burn the tons of fat I have. Should I add carbs in there? Lost 20lbs in 6 weeks so far.

    • @CHRISHERIA
      @CHRISHERIA  2 місяці тому +1

      Carbs are your bodies main source of energy, but if your body has excess body fat, those fat store can actually be broken down and used for energy. If your energy levels start to plummet, adding back some carbs may help you, or one you start getting to your goal weight, or very lean you may benefit even more from carbs, as if its weight management you want, the low calories alone will do that

    Hey Chris, one problem would be this.
    The total amount of carbs is displayed.
    But the actual amount of carbs that is actually SUAGR is always NEVER included in the count.
    So people, especially, diabetics can become more confused and thus, misled.
    Just saying, not ALL carbs are the same!

    • @CHRISHERIA
      @CHRISHERIA  2 місяці тому

      In my opinion I’d get the majority of calories from carbs, followed by protein and then fats if my goal was to bulk, but I’d make sure I increase my protein intake in grams to my goal weight. So if I wanted to get to 200lb, I’d eat 200 g of protein while of course ensuring I’m on a slight calorie surplus.

      All the vests can be adjusted to fit any body size, so if you get the lightest vest you are capped at the weight of that weight and can remove weights, while if you get the heaviest one, even if you aren't yet strong enough to do all your exercises with it, you can remove weights from the vest and add more until you're strong enough to wear the total weight of the vest
