Succinct, concise, no waffle, only the info needed, no padding, nor lengthy, ego driven intro's / outro's.. This could double as a "How to do a Technical UA-cam Video".. Well Done!! 😇
@@jondo12 Most blinds will have this info inside the headrail/top of the blind on a sticker. You'll need to physically remove the blind to get to this. I recommend fixmyblinds.com or blindsparts.com for finding replacements parts, that's where I send all my customers!
Thanks for the video! I have a quick question- I have an issue if my vertical blinds of window not closing properly. In my case, I am having those vertical slat blinds and I have 2 issues and would greatly appreciate your response! (1) In my living room window blinds, only 1 out of the total 9 blinds move when I pull the rope attachment. The remaining 8 blinds just stop moving along with the first one after 2 seconds of pulling my rope attachment so there is this huge gap created when I close the blind and sunlight comes right in.What to do about it? (2) For my bedroom window blinds, i ma having the same issue but in this case 4 out of 9 blinds move after pulling the rope attachment. The remaining 5 just won’t move at all after a while so it creates a wide gap and sunlight comes right in. How to solve this issue? Thanks ahead of time for your response🙏
❤ awesome video 😊 thanks so much for your help... as a single female i hate to "call the man" if i can fix it myself... BTW I'm glad it was the 1st issue. You have made my day 🇦🇺👍🙂
Ive just purchased new blinds. One of my tilt mechanisms goes all the way down, but when I go to tilt them up it gets stuck half way. Is due to the mechanism or is it just not aligned properly
Great video!! Similar problem...only the blinds turned partially one way but not the other...only then pulling the top blind up against the rail ...took it down and everything seemed ok compared to an identical blind that works...the string inside the wheel was at a minimum...likely causing the lack of movement...so I tried rolling some string back...but the problem still exists. Any thoughts? Thanks
@@katieyoung8848 hi, no. Looked at the mechanism and it’s more complex than videos I’ve seen Nothing wrong (ie looked broke or snapped) when I took them off. Think I’ll have to contact the installer who sourced them to return for fixing. At least for now, I can run my hands over then and try push the lats more closed.😀
I live y Tijuana México near to San Diego, Ca plys i need buy oter sistem and chench por old sistem, plys cant you tell me where buy parts for mini blind near mi city
Remove the blind, then remove the tilter and rewind the cord . Make sure when you re-install the tilter the blind is in the neutral position, meaning the blades are open .

Thanks a million! 💖💖💋💋
FANTASTIC and simple to replace. Now if I can only the suitable replacement part. There isn't a manufacturer's name on the blind.
Were you able to find the part? I have the same problem.

I have a hex rod that doesn't seem to slide. How do I move it to replace the mechanism?
Brilliant video! Very useful. Thank you.
My blinds won’t tilt fully closed. Ive to put a bit of pressure to two chords get them to tilt. Any ideas?
I'm looking everywhere for this answer, I have the same problem with brand new blinds! Did you manage to find an answer?

Tilt Mechanism. Thanks. Now I have to locate the right one and I'm off the the races!
Thanks a lot!
Thank you, so detailed explanation. ☺
Is there any way to adjust the length of cords that controls the tilting? I have one cord that is REALLY long and another is REALLY short.
Remove the blind, then remove the tilter and rewind the cord . Make sure when you re-install the tilter the blind is in the neutral position, meaning the blades are open .
Thanks mate!
i have a broken string, how can i replace it
You don't need to pull the rod out the end, Just pop each string roller out of the bracket. Much easier. RGJIII
