Imagine how cool but creepy it would be to explore the ghost ship of the virtual aliens and the virtual world. I really liked the idea about them because it makes it uneasy to even interact with “friends” if the virtual aliens are antagonistic
I think the Raloi are the closest we get to seeing an actual version of an idea I had about "imagine being a species that came across Galactic Civilisation AS the Reapers were harvesting the galaxy."
Update: I'm not going away until Wednesday now due to this cold - I could risk it and join family camping but it's a bit damp in the UK at the moment and I can't imagine that being especially ideal. That being said I am still going away on Wednesday until the Sunday, so I'll try to get some more content & streams done in the meantime.
At least one of the Raloi's top scientists was experimenting with mass effect technology hundreds of years before their discovery by the Asari. His ship was damaged so badly in transit through the relay that he could never repair it with the available resources on his new home. After his disappearance and presumed death the Raloi (a peaceful people who greatly value life) gave up working on the relay - unwilling to sacrifice more of their brightest minds. To the people of his home planet he became a legend - a martyr in the quest for technological advancement. To the people of Sesame Street he became a valued friend.
haven't checked the comments to see if anybody has mentioned it yet, but there was an episode of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex where a cyberbrain housing a virtual theater is discovered, with multiple people's ghosts/souls/cyberminds having abandoned their physical bodies to just live within this theater and watch an unreleased movie on repeat forever
We also never saw the Lystheni, an offshoot species of Salarians that were mentioned in the book Mass Effect: Ascension and were unwelcome to live in Citadel space by the Salarians but we never learned why. Apparently some of them lived on Omega though according to their wiki entry.
Thanks again for the help moving my fridge freezer fizhy mate appreciate it and remember don't use the protective leaf to put up your displates if you have them the can fall off the wall and hit you POW right in the kisser 😢 Roadhouse
When I first heard the description of the Roloi a while back, I pictured a feathery brown chicken in a Quarian suit. Up till this day, I don't know why
Woulda been cool, but I think it would have made the galaxy feel smaller - learning about the Raloi in passing makes for a much bigger feeling as not every detail is immediately relevant to something Shepard is doing, and it's a bigger example of that.
What about the Inussanon? (Yea I probably butchered that spelling, I hope you know what I mean), I don't think we ever saw them, though, I think there were statues of them discovered so I guess that counts
I think the raloi will no doubt be apart of the next Mass Effect. With it being multiple centuries beyond the original trilogy, the raloi could easily be explained as having developed cures for the illnesses or just adapted to the Citadel races. I could imagine they survived the Reapers; the yahg were nearly capable of spaceflight but were left alone entirely, so the raloi barely having achieved spaceflight (and only doing so through 'uplifting'), I can easily see them as having survived. They could assist the galaxy in rebuilding (seeing as how they wouldn't be destroyed if they survive) and have an embassy on the Citadel (or whatever the galactic hub is). As for the artificial race: I doubt the Reapers killed the ones remaining aboard their vessel. The Reapers and Catalyst view themselves as being above all others, so wouldn't assimilate them in their artificial form. And they couldn't use them combatively due to the state we find them in. There could be a 'cult' of sorts in the next game with people who claim to be said A.I. (maybe someone commits a crime and tries to get out of it using that excuse). Either way, I think (and hope) we see these two races in the next Mass Effect. They could bring a lot to the table in terms of lore (humanity no longer being the youngest race is an interesting concept) and they could make for some good squadmates or potential crew (people already want to fuck Garrus, a raloi would attract the same crowd).
Task "put in this universe pretty much anything you want" for the lore employees done right. (Word it anyhow you seem fit, I won't overthink this one here)
I'm sure I've accidentally slipped up on that here and there in the past, but being aware of how annoying and harmful it is now I always double check that the assets I'm using are from source or with permission

Yeah they're a subspecies of Salarians, likely worth their own video at some point ;)

@@Fizhy good point
You should make a video about what the next mass effect could be like. Definitely would watch that for sure.
ME's universe has always been so interesting
I think a mission in the virtual world in the next mass effect would be cool
the Raloi sound like the Rito from BotW

They're an ancient race that is since extinct, the two races mentioned here are around during the events of the trilogy.
Ah, thanks for clarifying
Anyone else a bit creeped out by the virtual aliens ability to swap places with organics & use their bodies
tbf yeah
When will we see the Fizhy race?
We are the fizhy race
All are Fizhy, Fizhy is God

Raloi the first alien race to adopt Judaism
The fact that you didn't have an Elcor crew mate in Andromeda is the worst thing about that game.
With a mounted turret on its back and everything
Coulda had a batari too
No more assassin lore?
Thank you for respecting fan art Fizhy! So many other content creators would simply take the art for the video. Much respect 🙏

It's probably pronounced Ra-low-E
WOW THATS MAD
Can u rank every weapon in AC which ever one u want to do plz
If you just give basic credit, I don't see why you can't use the fanart.
Because nobody bothers to check basic credit, using the fanart would drive traffic away from that artist.
MrHulthen did this like a month ago
