The last few games are exactly why I didn’t feel drastic changes like firing Chris Morgan, replacing Waldron or benching any starters were needed. Everything is beginning to click for our offense because Caleb is learning how to read NFL defenses, getting in sync with our receivers and is becoming more comfortable with our playbook.
They are definitely on the right track, and they NEED this improvement for when we play those back to back to back Divisional games
Already has showed more promise and already looks better then fields and Mitch combined

It is weird to be 100% happy with a game from the Bears, we played great and their is no big thing that we got away with
People are saying it’s the Panthers. With that being said. I’m not judging him who he played but how he played. He’s improving every game. Learning and controlling the offense. Also threw for the most against Carolina this year. And add the fact they dominated like a superior team should. 💯 good game.

I like what I see from Pryor, dude is a beast. He obviously needs to work on his discipline and technique more, but my god this guy can flatten someone spectacularly.

With all the weapons Caleb has, it’s nice to see him not lock onto one guy. Clearly DJ is still the #1 guy, but Cole Kmet has been that safety blanket and Odunze is quietly 3rd on the team in receiving yards. But a couple of things I noticed is who was getting these screens. Earlier in the season it felt like Everett was the main guy, but now we are getting the ball out to the athletic guys. Rome caught a screen, Swift has been getting screens, and a play action tight end screen to Cole Kmet was nice to see. Getting the play action going for easy completions opens up those chunk plays. It was good coaching yesterday
I’d like to see a Keenan Allen breakout game next week
I think I am only the small group of fans that never had any negative feelings since the season starts. I want Caleb has a rough start, I want him to make mistakes, I want him to through interceptions, cause you don’t learn and develop, especially mentally when you are winning. This season is not for him to feel good or try to win, yes I want him try to win but not “try to win” if you know what I am talking about. So I am happy seeing him play every game, win or lose.
The Black and Blue division (NFC north) is currently the best in the NFL.
NFC north record is 14 wins and 5 losses.

Wow. I was at that game ! That was because fields nut dj! I had field passes and box seats. Literally made eye contact with him and we both shook heads AFTER THEM ANNOUNCING THE PASSING OF THE LEGENDARY DICK BUTKIS! The whole atmosphere changed. Sun started setting. He was so focused. Looks exactly like he do now in Pittsburgh. No emotion all business. No Knock on dj but you need to give proper credit when due! He threw dimes under pressure from that top tier defensive front. They took away him and dj 4th td! He was nowhere near near sideline. Phantom call. ESPN intentionally didn’t show replay. I was sick I literally stopped recording play or so just before that happened bc I put them on blast. Perfect box seats in end zone . I’m going again this year too. Can’t wait .

@@blindingirisjake the only difference is bears have one of if not the weakest schedule in nfl this yr and especially through first half of yr! That’s usually never the case. We haven’t even had a division game yet even more rare seeing how we always play packers early. It’s the schedule! We lucked up vs titans. We lucked up rams had major injuries too. It matters. Same way it does for us when we do have good team and lose because bc missing key players.

If Shane had sense. He would think to get Khalil Herbert going, the running game would be way better than how it's going. Not taking nothing away from Swift, he played good. The issue was that he was hitting his spots right,he refused to run north and south. But if you get Herbert involved in the run game more. The offense can have it's full potential and then use Johnson in redzone
This team is 💯. There is no controversy. They are all on same page. 3 and 2 i was hoping for more. But they are going to get there.
Why didn't Poles, Flus, and staff get the O-line somewhat fixed before the season started? Williams really got it going. All nice to see. Now, if Eberflus just stays out of the offense completely.
People can say it was Panthers all they want but take that 2nd TD to Moore... the Panthers Defense was spot on and covered Moore as good as you could. There's no team that could have covered Moore any better. Caleb threw it perfectly out so that Moore could only get it. It was just all this bonehead, wide open incompetent D from Panthers, so there's plenty to be excited about. Things are clicking, and I'm loving it.

I'd say they still need to get more O-line help for teams like the Lions with a heavy pass rush.
I have always liked Teven. Big, can more than hold up against the bull rush, and is athletic. But his availability is a huge problem.
I’d love for him to stay healthy, and the Bears keep, but this is rough. He has that nasty streak that good OL’s need.
Still doesn’t deter me from wishing the Bears spend at LEAST 4 picks on OL next year. Don’t care about “draft grades” - if you’re gonna build around Caleb and Rome - you have to do it.

Even if it’s only The Panthers you still have Williams getting a stronger connection with the receivers and tight ends. They should also stick with Murray and Pryor.

As a Fields fan, I am happy for my Bears and I said i would give Caleb a year to prove himself. But reality check he did it against 2 of the worst teams in the NFL. I want to see this effort against good teams then I will give him his due praise and backing. Remember it is the bears they destroy qbs and our hopes too often. Confident = 5, prove me wrong Caleb...
As for Teven, unfortunately I too feel we might need to move on. A player’s best ability is availability, and even availability in training camp is important. We need a stable front 5 that can gel together, and not a patchwork Mary go around. A lesser lineman who’s familiar playing with his line mates is a greater asset than one who’s more talented but not familiar playing with his line mates.
Put Bill at LG and put Tevin at RG where he belongs and where he was being recognized by the NFL as one of the best
The bears started off possibly the worst way you could start, but the offense and offensive line seem to be playing much better, and should be enough to help the defense when they get into trouble with good offenses. Its gonna be a fun year!

Caleb, Kimet, and another player went to Waldron and said (paraphrasing here) that this isn't Pop Warner, we need to be coached. What bothers me is 'Flus, our head coach, is nowhere in this dialogue. Doesn't it seem odd that 1) He was not involved, oblivious? 2) He should have seen this and dealt with it, he's our head coach.

Maybe they went to shane after or before a meeting where flus was in a different meeting. I do agree flus should’ve been the one to pull Waldron coat to it tho. But as a defensive type of coach he may not have noticed it. 🤷🏿♂️

I admit you’re right that Tevin Jenkins is having his worst season so far but not act like they didn’t just play the worst defense line they played all year a lot of backup level players especially in the interior yeah Bill Murray played good and that’s a great sign that we have good depth But I don’t think Bill Murray will ever be as good as Tevin jenkins is maybe I’m coping because Tevin was one of my favorite players on the team I do really think he’s gonna be able to get it back together and be a great player. I mean he’s less than a year removed from playing like an all pro when healthy.
