Tim, Caleb/Kmet mentioned the wind being a factor in the pass game. The first pass to Allen got hit by a gust of wind according to Caleb in the post game press conference FYI
+1 Caleb said the wind took that throw
Watch the clip from the defenses view, both the tackle and LBs towel were showing how bad the wind was at that moment, 100% agree. 1:40
Didn’t hear this but interesting to know
Somebody who lives in Chicago can attest the wind was bad yesterday
@@J-K-A kmet said the same thing on the deep ball that was thrown back shoulder. Also can kind of see the ball wobble
This is like taking a college level football course. I love when Tim breaks down the terminology and why things are referred to as they are.
And as someone who didn't grow up with this game, I'm being schooled too! I couldn't figure out the difference between shotgun and gun formation from the broadcast commentary, now I know. Thanks Tim.
I am SO hyped for my Chicago Bears and I'm SO hyped that you break it down for us every week. Thanks, Tim.
Another year, another grateful "Thank you" for your work.
As a Bears fan im so confused by what im seeing. Its like when Native Americans first encounter the European colonists. Ive never seen good offensive football from the Bears.
😅
I’ve seen good offensive football in 2013. It was a masterpiece but short lived
Marc Trestman had the best offense we saw here it also includes the worse defense too
@@RichardLopez-ij5pxyeah he flip flopped our identity. It was kinda fun to each aside from the fact you knew that if the other team got the ball for the final drive, they were scoring.
2nd week in a row with an egregious TD turndown
Tim's technical breakdowns have always been top notch now that his commentary and snark have reached elite levels these are the best tape reviews on youtube!
That was THE most fun I've had watching a Bears offense. Ever. It is so clear that Caleb knows what he's doing, and the more he runs this offense the more he'll know to look for the open guys in the "bad" plays you pointed out. I truly think, as you said in the end, Waldron is the x-factor. Love seeing you break down specifically what Waldron did well this week, and I really, really hope he can keep that going.
I love that he addresses the route and the schemes even when the play fails.
Still a plus to have schemes made that could actually work.
It's amazing to see the growth and development, when you realize that even through the miscues this is all been part of a process that is only going to make Caleb a much stronger QB mentally and physically
I genuinely laughed multiple times throughout this video, Tim's jokes reaching new heights
Every post he does has a few LOL moments for me as well.
YESSS!! There's a big difference when players succesfully execute badly designed plays Vs well designed plays. More of the later please. pleeeeeeze!
Tim makes this Bears football so much fun and love is enthusiasm 😂😂
Once CW starts hitting Rome on those wide open routes, it's GG
I loved seeing him connect with all of his weapons. That was his cleanest game yet. Look forward to seeing him against the Jags generous defense
26:00 the underthrow to DJ on the slant in the redzone, I think Caleb lost focus there because he was gassed from 2 plays where he scrambled and ran in a row. I think one was a touchdown run that got called back. No excuse for missing the play, but him acting gassed before that play stood out to me.
Thought the exact same thing watching the game live… not gonna put too much stock into that miss given how exhausted he looked/ was
the find to kmet with the phantom holding call was beautiful
Man I've been all over UA-cam like sense forever looking for someone like you to break it down thank God I found you😂
This game showed what the Bears offense could look like consistently with a solid offensive line. The Panthers pass rush is weak, which allowed the Bears the time and confidence to execute almost anything they wanted. Poles needs to draft a new interior offensive line with the Bears' 2nd and 3rd round picks. I wouldn't mind the entire 'Bama interior offensive line. Booker, Roberts, and Brailsford! Maybe hire their offensive line coach also, if possible. Best available slot WR or free safety with the 1st round pick. Let Tevin Jenkins, Keenan Allen, and Khalil Herbert walk in FA if they aren't traded prior to the deadline.. Cut Nate Davis (9.5 million), Velus Jones (1.44 million), and Dominique Robinson (1.1 million). Resign Darrell Taylor and Jack Sanborn, if they aren't too expensive. The Bears should have between 88 and 101 million in cap space depending on whether they make Kevin Byard (7 million), Gerald Everett (5.5 million), and DeMarcus Walker (5.25 million) cap cuts also. Hopefully Poles will know by the end of the 2024 season if Amedagjie looks like he can push Braxton Jones as the starting left tackle.
Bro you are helping my football knowledge!!! I appreciate you.
Panthers didn't bring a ton of pressure but still, shoutout to the O-line and backs/TE's in the blocking game. They played great. The pocket was beautiful all game long.
Love your breakdowns. I truly look forward to them on Monday's... TYVM! I appreciate your hard work & the education you provide!
stunning just stunning clarity.. thank you!!
Opened YT just in time 🙌🏽🙌🏽
85 and 4 picking up that blitz on the first DJ TD. Thing of beauty, Awesome video sir. Thanks as always!
That first play #13 knocked that ball out
Hey, Tim thanks for waking up so early to cut ✂️ this video of Caleb and Da Bears 🐻 breakdown appreciate yah man.. And its good to hear no biscuits this week 🤣..
Love ya Tim thanks for re recording 😂😂
Tim, this was some of your funniest stuff by far. The father/son talk about Waldron has me rolling!
I was saying to a friend yesterday that it has been so awesome watching Caleb play so far since you can see him developing in real time. Hopefully that continues throughout the season cause if he can keep improving at the rate he has these first few games he's gonna be something.
tim we all appreciate you and the work u put in. thanks for everything
Tim - don’t cry … there is more coming 🐻⬇️ and great work again on breaking down the plays 👍💯
I learn alot every week. TY
Love your breakdowns, thank you!
I enjoy watching your work a lot more when the Bears play well NGL. Keep it up!
Man that drop by DJ could’ve been the difference between 305 yards Two TDs and 355 yards 3Tds with DJ making one guy miss and getting his Third touchdown of the game
Watch Caleb’s eyes at the 14 min play. His eyes opened that whole thing up
The thing i get most excited about with caleb is that he actually is very clever and playful. Its weird but i think he is gonna get really good at manipulating defenses and he has the physical talent to capitalize on the little trickery.
wow, I've watched this stuff for 40 years and learned something from this video. Way to go brotha. I have not been a fan of Shane Waldron thus far but I missed some of this. I hope I'm wrong.
CW17 looking more accomplished each week! Love it! Thanks for the breakdowns Tim!
Tim - GREAT JOB as always. Appreciate the honesty and your knowledge of the game
This what I’ve been seeing our rookies are already playing the game within the game love it
Love the breakdowns
The first play wasnt dropped. Allen swatted it with one hand to the ground
Great stuff, Tim.
It was a pretty impressive game from Caleb and Shane.
Best breakdowns on the internet. Hands down. Thanks Tim :)
Great analysis
This is the first time I’ve watched you and I gotta say great job very entertaining very informational
Lets get it Tim!!! Qb1 is just starting to heat up, shiesty szn.
Great breakdown enjoy your non biased analysis
With the long shots Caleb was missing early he was putting his whole body into the throw at like max level power, but i think now he knows he can just use his arm and a little rotation with some touch. But to know he has WAY MORE power for really tight throws is soooooo encouraging.
It’s good to see Waldron listen to the guys and adjust as well as change some stuff. Change is good and when everyone is on the same page most of the time it’s a success. Change doesn’t always mean a complete make over but just something here or there.
Ya it’s good to have a coach whose ego is not in the way. Like the ones in the past.
@@BearsNCigars also helps when the players talk to the coaches in person instead of throwing them under the bus in the media.
That red zone bad throw to DJ was one I chalked up to Caleb being exhausted.
He’d just had an amazing scramble TD called back on a penalty and he really seemed to have nothing left in the tank.
If he’d been coming out of a time out, he makes that throw.
Caleb footwork is amazing he is ready to throw accurately in seconds.
That's hard for any Defense to go against. He release is extremely fast now.
I think he is ready to terrorize the league now.
Hey Tim I left a comment inside someone else’s sorry just thanking for explaining and breaking down the plays really appreciate it . That last play was funny but also really enjoyed the heads up and explanation of course . Can’t wait to see it succeed in another game. BearDown
I love watching film breakdown, great video Tim! Bear Down!
Great stuff. Thank you.
FTA, but happy Shane is evolving. This offense is about to start firing on all cylinders soon.
So, that first throw I know Caleb had mentioned the wind, which I wasn't going to put full stock in, but when you watch that again, take a look at the defensive players' towels. They are just whipping in the direction that the ball floats to.
The guy has tens of millions from practicing throwing a ball for most of his last 15 years, why put full stick him explain why said ball HE threw goes a certain speed and direction 😂.
As always spot on!
i like your passion you tell the truth
Hilarious! Also great commentary. Very insightful!
caleb is my OROY
FTA all love tim keep up the great work!
Great breakdown as always. Thanks for this!!
Loved your analysis. So much to be excited about with Caleb and where he can take Da Bears!
Caleb has his feet under him perfectly now. He got his footwork together...
It's hard to throw accurately if your foot work is off....
Caleb actually look more scary now I see the tape slowed down.
He own the line. That not something I have ever seen from any of our QBs in the past.
Caleb confidently directs the Offense now and he in getting better at it.
Waldron has got this moving and Caleb is growing!
You’re the best in the game dude! Keep up the good work!!!
The wind was swirling hard. You didn't watch the post game.
Great stuff Tim. Shane had a great day.
Let's go it's Him Jenkins with another banger...bear TF down baby
Per usual, awesome analysis!
Feels good to know that we finally have our franchise QB. Da Bears.
Allen saved that pass from being an interception
Great analysis, Tim!
Thanks Tim, I entirely missed the fact that Rome was so open on that third and fourteen play. I bet if the situation occurs again, he wont miss it.
Great presentation on probably the best QB the Bears ever had 👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽
Shane, I owe you an apology. I wasn't really familiar with your game.
Love these break downs
Nice job, thank you!
Way more fun after a win! lol Good breakdown Tim.
Thanks Tim!
This is my first time really understanding the verbiage and checking
Best breakdowns in the business
Shane crushed it this week! Keep it up broski
Great breakdown Tim!
4:30 Head on a swivel DJ damn 😂😂
Thanks for the great breakdown
thanks Tim!
12:18 I Know The Feeling Man😂😂 “Gahleeee BayBeeeee”
😂😂😂😂
Love the content man
Tim, Rome wasn’t built in a day. It will come.
proud papa tim! love the patreon!
he underestimated the wind on the first throw
This channel is like crack to me. Well done, TJ.
I love it here. Great work n 🐻👇🏾
love the breakdown of the 3rd -6 play .. i wonder what is next
Love your content.
I think I've seen #2 drop more balls in the first five games than all of last year. I can't wait until #18 and #2 truly get on the same page.
Gotta watch the press conferences, Tim. The first throw that was almost a pick 6 and the throw to Kmet that should’ve been a touchdown were both brought up and the players were quick to say how windy it was on the field. Kmet said that throw came in like a slider lol. Which is all the more crazy considering he caught it.
RE: The play at 20:29. Was at the game and I remember myself and everyone around me screaming that Rome was WIDE OPEN. Weren’t sure why he turned it down. Could be the wind, etc.. but that was brutal.
