A nice color that I don't recognize from the Mazda color palette. Out of curiosity, I looked at the Mazda configurator. and it turned out that it be a color reserved for limited version of the Mazda 6. Greetings from Poland.
Hi, Jarek, thanks for your comment! That particular model i tested was a high spec trim level and a special one (i think). It was called 20th Anniversary.
I suppose that it is not easy for Mazda to compete against turbo engines. In the flexibility accelerations it can be seen. But in the real life not only acceleration is important. When it comes to reliability, N/A engines may be a good choice.
Mazda6 2.5 N/A not slower than a Renault Talisman 1.6 turbo 190hp with dual clutch, and the Talisman is 100kg lighter 🙂 ua-cam.com/video/v0qbwYgyApo/v-deo.htmlsi=sI3dqE9fAkRGeQcX
Cu siguranta! Eu zic ca se poate si 8.1, valoarea data de fabrica. Acceleratiile pe reprize sunt ok, cu tractiunea fata e mai dificil. N-a mai plouat p'aici de vreo luna si ceva, da` s-a gasit in dupa-masa cand am avut masina sa-i dea niste reprize... 😐 Oricum, pentru aproape 200cp pe 1.5 tone, rezultatele nu sunt sclipitoare, chiar de-ar fi conditii meteo excelente.

I'm not 100% sure, but i think the car ran on 95 gasoline. But as i said in the video, the weather conditions were not the best, as it was a little bit wet. In dry conditions i'm sure the car can get better 0-100 time (i don't think 7.9 sec, but i think it might get close to 8.3 ).
@@MsAndrei789 i checked the GPS recordings from my device and the closest to 100-150 i could get a 100-143 km/h (during the 1/4 mile run). So i found the next values: 100-110 is 1.5 sec, 100-120 is 3.1 sec, 100-130 is 5.2 sec, 100-140 is 7.5 sec and 100-143 is 8.25 sec. So seeing how time increases for every 10 km/h interval as speed gets higher, i would say 100-150 takes about 10 - 10.2 sec.

Pretty interesting, I like that Mazda has a different approach to engines & transmissions.
I share your enthusiasm regarding the engines, but i have mixed to meh feelings when it comes to transmissions 🤭

Am văzut alte masuratori cu Racelogic VBOX 8.3-8.6s 0-100. Cred ca pe asfalt uscat si cu traction off.

Yes. Slightly wet for the 0-100 test, as it was just starting to rain, and wet for the 1/4 mile.
