I understand that it would be weird for a channel with this name, but I would love to know some data with zero acceleration! As in, the minimum engine rpm for a few constant speeds. Probably 70, 100, 120, 130, 160 and 180 kmh. And a sense of associated noise would be great! Mainly I'm concerned with comfort while cruising at a more or less constant speed. And a big part of that is not torturing the engine and suffering its screams.
Thank you for this video. My intention is to by the 2024 model Captur with this engine and there is no review with this engine on UA-cam. I'm not expecting any changes in respect of the performance for this year model. The 29.9/100 liters/km instant consumption is a lot :)), but this will not change my mind about the car. Thank you again.
Glad it was helpful! Regarding that consumption number, it is what it is, all cars have a consumption of 30L+ when flooring it hard. I remember i quite enjoyed the car. Pretty spacious for it's exterior size, decent handling and quite good rolling acceleration (like when you have to overtake).
Exactly, I ordered Captur 2024 by the end of July and this is the only real review I have found since then. Only full hybrid reviews, when this is the best (from my point of view) and most powerful engine for this model.
Comparing to T-Roc 1.5 TSI 150cv, the main difference is that TSI revs up to 6500, making 120 in third, whereas TCE changes to forth at 6000 and then 80-120 becomes slower... Appart from that, their times are very similar. Renault please, rev it up!!!

Yes, it is! I think the gearbox is a little sportier and the car itself (the Captur) is considerably lighter than the Qashqai.
We can expect these times in the new Mitsubishi asx then

60-100 and 80-120 are faster than I expected. Looks like the electric motor really helps a lot in these tests.
60-100 is actually good, 80-120 not so much (but, again, i think it's the gearbox that hinders performance). On another note, although the 1/4 mile time is rather poor at 16.6 sec, the exit speed is quite impressive at 140.x km/h. For comparison, my stage 1 X3 20d has a 1.3-1.4 sec quicker 1/4 mile, but the exit speed is just 143.x km/h. Guess diesels just lose their breath at high speed and this car's small electric motor does help.
Another thing to notice is that the 1/4 mile performance is right on par with it's closest "rival" that i've tested, the 1.5tsi VW T-Roc
