N scale Layout Update May '24

- May was a lot of yard work and house work - so that means less train room time but a few things were still accomplished. Let's take a look at the few items that were complete, plus, as always, some trains running the layout.

Hi C Mastracci , yea life does get in the way of your layouts from time to time. I probably have only worked about 10 hours on mine the last few months. Been busy with lawn and garden work and other projects. I do enjoy your videos and how to projects you do. But if you just do a video on running trains i would enjoy it also. I have slow down on my purchases,because I have some per orders coming in soon. Thanks for sharing. Have a good week. 😎😎 👍
sometimes it's hard to remember this is the hobby and the other stuff if more important. especially if you're in the middle of a project - i hate to be torn away from in-progress projects! but, it's a hobby for our down times and in summer - there just isn't much of that.
We just got our power and internet net back up. Seems a tornado came around 5 miles from us. Like the update and the idea you have on the lighting in the container area. About structures I like to mount mine on bases I can swap out so I can change out industrial buildings and change out rolling stock on op night
I've seen folks that do that with the buildings - that's a cool idea - lets you change rolling stock, locos - even eras if you wanted. cool stuff.
