The BUG-A-SALT 3.0 is specifically tailored to the needs of the more serious fly hunter. Those who are fluent in weaponry & gun handling will appreciate custom improvements such as cross-bolt safety, trigger redesign, and Patridge sight (not to be confused with the bird, the sight is named after the famous rifleman Patridge).

I was in ace hardware and I saw this while waiting in line and grabbed it since it was only one so since I really hate flies it was a bit expensive but I got it anyway and I've been playing with it all afternoon. That thing is magic it turned a 57 year old man into a 12 year old boy with the first shot.

They must have figured out a choke. Because my pattern [main] is small enoghg to actually miss at three feet. Its great! I can shoot up to 4 feet on softies. And I like to get close to anything tougher than a fly!

I took out 4 yellow jackets today at the shop. They take about 4 or 5 shots to immobilize. Sometimes they just don't wanna land so you gotta blast em right out of the air. It's so satisfying.

"It will kill a slug too" You don't need a projectile to kill a slug unless your a sloth. Salt kills slugs. Also...don't kill bees

Wicked cool !! I'm wondering if "fine ground Himalayan Pink" will fire through this bad boy.. for ultimate knockdown power. OO Buck style. The good thing about salt is it won't attract other bugs. Salt is a deterrent. I need one for sure. One - Two feet accuracy is great !
just got one a few days ago , this is really fun , using normal table salt but i might go kosher cause its coarse so less dispersion but more stump power ,at least thats what i read in some comments ....

Yo boss man do you by chance happen to have the 2.5 version??? I've got both and am trying to figure out which one is truly the most effective. I don't just mean raw power, I mean accuracy, comparability, yes power too but the 2.5 acts more as a shotgun with a wider spread while the 3.0 is more similar to a rifle with the salt being more condensed. All around which do you think is the best gun of the 2??? You said you and your family have a blast with them so I assumed that you had more than 1 and wanted to ask.
This is the only one I have, never seen one before this.
Got mine as a b-day gift, too. Use aluminum foil to pattern your gun so you know if you need to use Kentucky windage and how far is too far.
