This case just breaks my heart. I had my daughter at 17, she is now almost 13 and I cannot imagine losing out on all these years and memories with her because of someone else's selfish actions. My heart goes out to her daughter and her family.

In the ER we don’t question when someone comes in with overdose.. I have pulled people out of cars, and had them dropped off on the ground. Our priority is to save them not question them unless it is just to ask what was given.

Yup. Also an ER RN. We don’t call the police unless we suspect child/elder/vulnerable person (disabled physically or cognitively) abuse or when a patient is sober and able to give consent, reporting a SA & asks us to call.

I lived in Covington when she went missing. Back then parts of Covington were still decent but that area was bad, just worse now. I never believed the drop off story, it was too fishy.
I am glad they found her body, but sad they still couldn't bring charges.
Paige deserves justice! I hope her family can find a little peace in knowing she's been found. I also hope one of the boys talks. I do think if both weren't responsible, one would have talked already. Especially once the body was found, you know before it came out they body gave no clues.
Thank you for covering the case. I didn't know her body was found.
    Rest in peace Paige!

There seems to be sooo many possible theories in this case, but there's only one common denominator - Jacob. Based on how little he's said, he seems quite calculating, stubborn, and self-serving.

I feel as though when he gave her alcohol he waited until she was drunk and tried to come onto her and she refused leading to an altercation and maybe she took his phone and messaged her sister in the bathroom and then he found out and killed her because she was going to tell them that he tried to rape her? I do also think the heroin/drug theory is highly likely as well. Such a frustrating case. I'm glad he is facing some charges though and that the family has a little bit of closure..

I've had a few incidents where guys would get very mad when I wouldn't "give it up". Thankfully none got violent (just talk mad sh*t lol), but this seems HIGHLY likely. So sad what women have to go through, we need to keep ourselves safe. I always have a taser or mace on me, I also learned self defense in my kickboxing classes. Most likely, Jacob didn't drop her off at the hospital because even in rural towns most emergency rooms have at least one security camera and he didn't want to take a chance on being recognized or having his vehicle recognized since he was on parole and could have been violated for it. However, I do believe he had a part in her death.

When u watch enough true crime, have u noticed how often it is male friends or boyfriend's or male creeps? Of course, there r the female to female jealousy, partner abuse, etc. But I will not be allowing my daughters be best friends or go out with male friends. Be as angry with me as u want, anything they can do together can be done in our home or with other family. I don't know how Paige's daughter can have a genuinely joyful life, without the mother she should have with her? Anyone who lies the first time and is found guilty, by design should have years tacked on.

Where I live, drug activity is very high as well as the overdose rate. My first thought is that she was given heroin for the first time, and she OD’d and they dumped her. It happens so often, because usually people who are into drug activity are too worried about getting in trouble to do the right thing. It unfortunately happened to my childhood best friend, she OD’d and the people that she was with just dumped her body in the woods. It’s absolutely disgusting to know that people have that mindset but it’s really common.

Not blaming however, the lesson here is to pay a little close attention to your babies. Who they're hanging with, the condition of their phone to confirm a clear line of communication, what they're into. An I like to point out the lessons in these cases because, no one lives or passes on without a purpose, and to give their life the light it deserves when they've been taking away, I turn it into a teaching moment, to highlight that their life was much more than the way in which a monster took it...

Her family definitely failed her. Not the sister, but definitely her parents. I’ve read most of the family members were junkies. The grandparents raised her and her sister. The mom worked the local strip clubs. I am sorry, but my daughter doesn’t go anywhere with mouth full disclosure. When she goes on a date I take a pic of his drivers license and license plate. If the young boy is uncomfortable with that my daughter doesn’t leave. We use two different family locators and apple air tags. My daughter is a good girl and I trust her, but that doesn’t mean she can’t find herself in a scary situation. I agree with you a 1000%! You have to stay aware and involved with your children’s lives no matter the age! Especially your minor child! Her teen pregnancy is case and point that no one was paying her much attention!

It’s really hard to tell what happened because the only thing that was left of her were bones. An autopsy would have helped if she were found a lot sooner. I think your theory about her turning them down doe sex makes sense. There had to have been some kind of altercation.
Let’s just think about this for a second. Yes, she had a child at a young age. That doesn’t make someone a bad or reckless person.
She might have experimented with drugs because she trusted the people she was hanging out with.
I think the lack of dialogue on Jacob’s end says more than words could ever explain. I’m not the judge, but if I were a jury member I would definitely want to hear more from Jacob so that we can get to the bottom of this. She was with him that night and then all of a sudden she went missing and then they found her dead. Speak up Jacob. Be a man and tell us what happened. Telling the truth will set you free. You’ll still have to do your time however, you owe it to her family to tell them what happened.

That's got to be so frustrating. That poor girl, so young.
Personally I think that maybe one of these men raped her or both...
I hope it was by accident but, who knows? What may have started out as an accident didn't stay an accident once they hid the body.

When you've already got a lawyer before the police can even officially just 'speak' with you... Not even being questioned yet...
Well... It looks pretty damn suspicious on your part!
    That's for sure! 🙄

One thing that I am pretty sure of here Rachel. Whether she passed away by accident, or the hands of someone, Jacob and the other friend know the answer. My thoughts are with the family and hope that justice is served for Paige.

It is frustrating for every loving person who hears of these crimes. Every so often it comes to mind that we may never know the truth, right now. God knows. Please know He isn't letting anything that hurts anyone else go with it. We will have an accounting, and what we CAN do is stop any behaviors in our children and families that r directed towards abuse. Also, we need to NEVER hurt anyone on purpose. 💕

I think Jacob and his buddy got her drunk and maybe added the heroin so they could take advantage of her. With his friends history and them being older and it sounds like not great people that they wanted to take advantage of her that night. The only people who know whether or not her losing her life was an accident or not are not talking and that leads me to believe it wasn’t. I hope one of them will talk soon.

In his mind, if she lived after an overdose, she probably would’ve talked and therefore he still could’ve gotten into trouble.
ETA: I am watching this the day after what would have been Paige’s 28th birthday (which also happens to be my son’s birthday), which also happens to be the day she died. This is so heartbreaking. She deserved better and so did her daughter. I pray she is doing as well as she can.

I know this sounds far-fetched but I found out I had spiritual gifts and I joined a group of psychic medians. And she was one of the people we were trying to find and honestly that's when I left the group because I got a vision of her in the woods. At that time I had no idea that certain animals will eat decomposing bodies. And the fact that she was so small. I told the group that there was no chance they were going to find her because she's scattered around. But to hear now that they did find a part of her only confirms what I saw and I stopped doing missing person cases

Hello i am just now seeing your video and unfortunately even thougj i live very close tonwhere this happen i am also just now hearing this story. I just wanted to provide some insight on why Jacob may not have taken her to the hospital. In 2010 i believe people still would have gotten in trouble for this. Especially in the state of Kentucky. I happen to know of another girl who died because of this. Im not certain what uear that changed but it is different now.

This was an extremely large house. I don't see him manning that house and multiple people by himself. Let's look at when he was fired, 2005. Why would it take him ten years to do this? He only had knives and a sword from the home.

I know this is an old video but I wanted to quickly address the “why wouldn’t he take her to the hospital if she accidentally od’d” thing. Most states have what is called a “Good Samaritan law”. If you get somebody help for a drug overdose the police cannot search you for drugs. However, not very many people know that. Unfortunately a lot of people who do drugs believe that if they call 911 to report an od or take somebody to the hospital for an od the cops will be called and they will be arrested for drug possession. That’s why you hear so many stories of people dumping od victims in a field or just kicking them out of the car in front of the er and speeding off.

15:44 KY has no bail bondsman... NONE!! The drug overdose theory was pretty big when this first happened. (This was before the "Good Sam" law was passed, and people in fear of getting into trouble were sadly letting people OD.)
