I have a similar build but i use the spell that gets you more ichor absorption on your weapon, instead of the attack in the prometheus code, and the ice barrage spell (5k damage by itself) instead of the stun fart projectile. Also im using iceblood, the ice sword. It can also be fortified i think (i still have to do that cuz i forgot). The normal attacks are almost the same as the flame sword but the triangle attack does almost 3k for 1ichor, with no buffs.

I don't get why people get so lost in the Cathedral, the map is pretty linear(linear enough, at least) and you can just pause the game and look at the map Ps: the Cathedral design is stunningly beautiful imo

Queenslayer's Final Journey also shifts heavier weapons onto the "quick" mobility setting, so if you fight a boss with this build I recommend you swap for a heavy weapon (zwei, oni bane, hammer...) with my personnal favorite being the Obliterator Axe (Agent Wolf Berserker's weapon on cathedral map) It increases your dammage output by a huge ammount, and you can still spam combo gifts, so killing bosses is like 3x faster than with the one-handed sword (which is very nice for killing anything else than bosses)
but then u cant use the gifts meantioned in the guide. Do u switch ur skills before every boss? If so, which do u use. Im a noob and little overwhelmed by all the gifts.
@@Michi051290 so if i'm fighting a boss, i would switch to a heavier weapon as I said. I get rid of all the status effect like "stun" and focus on dammage and combo efficiency per ichor (this is why i go for the Obliterator axe, it gets the Halberd combos which are the best by far). Obviously I switch to the corresponding weapon buff (double hand sword, halberd or hammer), and the empty spots for gifts I just take dark gifts that counter the boss, so fire gifts for ice boss for example. I never forget the active gift that robs the ichor from the enemy too, it is such a great tool to get 10 free ichor in boss fights. so yeah, in boss fights this build is great but can be heavily optimised towards the nature of the boss and the use of Final Journey
I was just thinking about making a 1H stun build not even an hour before this video and here you are putting a video out about it. Couldn't have been more convenient.
i used this build for my whole playthrough once i got it, since the final journey makes you quick dodge no matter what (i used a two handed sword) and the game got a little easy
Omg this is almost identical to my build I been using. A couple different actives but everything else is same. Instead of final journey I stack 3 damage buff gifts. Still tweaking as I go but I am very satisfied with the way I got it. Love the blazing katana because it feels so amooth and swift and DEXY!!
Another weapon I recommend trying out with this build is the burning disaster bayonet also with the stun transformation. I run overdrive from assassin instead of gift extension since I don't have the season pass. With the exact same setup, I've found that burning disaster has been able to stay close to blazing claw without bayonet mastery if you're using Noble silver despite it having normal mobility until final journey is active(roughly 1-2k damage behind depending on your two offensive skills). The exception here skillwise is severing abyss from Heimdall as blazing claw will always do more damage by a landslide with that skill no matter what. Edit: this is without taking opportunism into account since I was testing it on the dummy in home base.
I used Queen-slayer as my primary blood code but at the time i didn't really know how blood codes worked, now i do. So im gonna go modify my setup. Thanks for the video and info. (My current gift set up is i have Jack's skill gift attack that does a bunch of damage, the assassin skill gift, and circulating pulse as well as like an misc ability that i swap out depending on the situation. and mostly i use flame and plasma weapon buffs as my secondary set, but now i've seen this and kind of understand queen slayer a bit more im gonna go modify it.)

@@peace4kings275 i feel like it still works but is signficantly harder in boss fights due to you having to time final journey's activation mid fight. Personally i like it and it's not too easy to steamroll bosses.
I've decided to use Stun Buff rather than Opportunism. Numbing Mark has a fairly long cooldown, so Stun Buff makes it easier to inflict Stun once Numbing Mark wears off.
@@CottonBollBat Not too sure about other gifts but final journey got gutted really hard. To be fair, it was super broken and you could pretty much always have it on (since resting would cancel the effect you would refresh at every mistle) and it would last more than long enough for every boss (not blade bearer doe). The Queen's gambit build was super strong because everything would just be amplified even more by final journey so not having it is pretty rough.
For anyone watching this video now: Final Journey was nerfed, and now only lasts 60 seconds. With the Gift Extension perk(Which comes from a Blood Code you only get from buying the deluxe version of the game, thanks for not mentioning that, fextralife -.-) you get a total of 90 seconds which is still... Not amazing. And it's the primary reason for using Queenslayer. Some annotations or at least a comment something mentioning that would be helpful for those of us who have just picked up the game on sale.
Thank you so much for the notification about Final Journey. I was using it in boss fights, and I was dying from the timer. I was so confused because there was no way it’s 3 minutes already.
This is really helpful. I'm at the point where I have almost completed this build and I have been looking everywhere for the gift extension gift. The information about Final Journey also helps a ton. Fortunately I've been using it more as a closer after learning the boss and getting them to phase 2 (or enraged).

Yeah bridge to glory is insane. Mind/Light magic is pretty nuts. It’s just crazy how much you can push up your damage with high mind scaling and bridge to glory. It’s pretty cool but at the same time Kind of hoping it’s gonna be nerfed. Having to use mind up and the silver blood veil for all of my big dps builds I’m making is lame. Mostly because it doesn’t work with my color schemes on my outfit lol.
I don't have DLC for Gift Extension, but I think Cleansing Light is a better buff anyway if you don't have it (I have all except DLC blood codes), because you won't lose as much health by using Blood Sacrifice which you need to reapply buffs since you have no extension.
I like the stun hanemukuru (+5) with queenslayer. Haven't stacked this with stun mark... But you get the three quick swings from heavy attack, and the fast attacks are fast... I'm backstabbing a lot more frequently. I assume there are other one Sanders that do that 1-2-3 with heavy attack... But not all of them do it.
Opportunism is from gustavs side quest. I still haven't found stun shot but at least it isn't important Edit:just found stun shot its from the cliffs of rust depths map which you get from self important revenant's side quest.
murasame's blood code, bayonet mastery, dex+will up, (from Artemis) night thorn, and brodiea (mia's gun) are an excellent start. Maintains quick move and ivy type for ranges devour to open fights and stack up on ichor for ammo. It makes for a very efficient ranged attacker. Can even throw on Dex up or Str/dex up from hunter or prometheus blood codes to hit S dex. Brodiea is the best dex scaling bayonet I've found and it's super light.
So if Final Journey kills you after 3/4,5 minutes, and you say it's a good idea to use outside bosses, what would you do if you use it and the time runs out, while walking around? Is there a way to cancel the death, or does the effect go away when you are out of combat?
Shiro Gami pretty sure they can’t revive you if final journey kills you. I died during a boss fight due to it, and near instantly the death screen came up, where usually you have a few seconds of lying there before that happens.
Unless Final Journey doesn’t count as a hit, wouldn’t you be able to negate the death penalty with the passive that keeps you Alive with 1HP after you take a fatal hit?
They nerfed Final Journey! It only lasts one minute (adds thirty seconds with Gift Extension) and only increases your mobility by one stage. It’s just a suicide buff now, seeing as it won’t even get you through the boss fights you’d need it for. That, and if you’re already fat rolling you really don’t get to zoom around before you die. Sadly makes this build a lot less useful for general use, but might still help with certain bosses.
I'm confused, why should we use a blood veil that enhances support gifts when the active gifts such as numbing mark and stun shot are dark? Does better scaling increase the duration of the buffs and/or the passive gifts?
a year late, but there's a mistake in here that could confuse people. Gift Extension is from the Astrea blood code, not the Artemis blood code. they have very similar icons, but are 2 different codes.
is it just me or i see better results with Strength/Dexterity Up instead of Swift destruction? tried them both with blazing claw and enduring crimson (with the augment that makes it quick) or maybe for some reason Swift destruction doesnt appear on the stats screen?
what about the assassin/riki blood code one-hand ability? it was the most used weapon ability i used during my run. quick and lots of dmg. i always missed the enemies with the louis ability so once i got that ability i quickly slotted out the louis ability for the riki one.

Did they change Artemis on a previous update? She no longer has gift extension. I just recently started playing & been looking into this build but noticed this specific change, seems she now has 10 gifts instead of 4 & several are different than what you're showing on your build guide.
You can go for Ishtar when you gain it, however, you will get it when you almost finish the game. If you want something until then you can try watching his tanking build/explanation and go from there. You can upgrade to Demeter later on, then the final destination being Ishtar. Ishtar gives a passive that won't let your partner die. Instead, if they suffer a fatal blow, they will survive it with 1 HP but the rest of the damage will be passed on to you. To mitigate this damage you can go with Cleansing LIght and Iron Will, as well as getting a Blood Veil that has great resistances.
Dunno if you figured it out yet, but Mia has two different blood codes thanks to DLC, you need the *"Alternate Mia Set"* to get access to her second Blood Code, it's known as Astrea and can be found in the basement of Home Base.
Little disappointed that the one skill we could use is locked behind the preorder deluxe, Gift extension would work so well and you can it with this build to have allot of fun. Sadly, deluxe preorder only TwT

With access to the DLC (thunder one) there is a gift that grants Dex and Mnd up. Would this be able to work to gain the ability to use bridge to glory?
So, I got a better understanding of the game. The stat up passive increases the stat by one grading (C to C+; C+ to B; ... etc). So, yes it can work. Getting it is a major pain tho. Good luck.

Yo i use this bulid in ng+ and alot of things kill me in one hit but i kill them very fast as well is this a "glass canon" bulid or i'am doing something wrong? (not that i mind tho i like this type of builds)

its a part of the season pass, it come with alternate mia, preorder bonus is a blood code with an ability that do damage around you while damaging you, and a bonus armor.
This build should be called the Queens 8 inner gates cuz this can kill you after being op for a certain amount of time just like rock Lee's 8 gates Jutsu
How do you get opportunism and stun shot? Wiki doesn't have it and there's no info online? I beat the game and still don't have it. Also my Artemis gifts are different than yours, I have 10, and gift extension isn't one of them. I am lost
Oh. Well I found opportunism and stun shot. Opportunism is from gustavs side quest and stun shot is from cliffs of rust depths map which is from self important revenanents side quest
I used the night claw blood veil until I found the noble silver +6 in the city of the burning flames. The night claw is a good option early on as it has low weight and respectable drain damage. The best weapon according to me for this build until you get the burning claw is one of these : crimson longsword (Louis's sword), queenslayer sword , ardent wolf blade. Get them to +6 till you reach city of the fallen flames. As for the bloodcode use Prometheus until you get queen slayer.

You need to find the EOS vestiges. They're dropped by the Attendants outside each Successor Crypt. They're the Io look alike chicks. After you defeat each Successor go back to where they were standing. The vestiges will be there.
I'm honestly so glad that I found a halberd with a moveset that I like (black halberd), I want to finish my first playthrough with one but the early ones kinda suck

just replace the stun active gift with fire, and transform for fire.. done, you're the same build, but fire instead of stun.. and won't be as effective, but it'll work

Nah youre dead, unless if you have a teammate they can revive you i think

Likely for Bridge to Glory and Final Journey which are light gifts. Don't know if Gift Extension is affected at all.

So when you're mastering gifts and it says defeat the enemy does it matter the strength of the enemy, do stronger mobs make the mastery go faster?
Fight enemies in the latest area in the game you have access to.
It depends on your level. If you fight lower lvl enemies you might not get mastery at all.
what about the assassin/riki blood code one-hand ability? it was the most used weapon ability i used during my run. quick and lots of dmg. i always missed the enemies with the louis ability so once i got that ability i quickly slotted out the louis ability for the riki one.
how do you get opportunism? is it a blood code consumable found in one of the depths?
Once you've completed the Dried-Up Trenches an NPC will appear at the start called Gustav. Do his side quest and he gives you Opportunism. If you want to know where to go to get the evidence for his quest, you can find it with Google.

What would be a good replacement if you (meaning me) don't have Gift Extension? And which gift should I switch Final Journey with?
Did they change Artemis on a previous update? She no longer has gift extension. I just recently started playing & been looking into this build but noticed this specific change, seems she now has 10 gifts instead of 4 & several are different than what you're showing on your build guide.
Astrea is the side code you get from Mia when you get the deluxe edition or season pass DLC
I would like a co-op build that focusses on buffing, healing and if at all possible. Tanking.
You can go for Ishtar when you gain it, however, you will get it when you almost finish the game. If you want something until then you can try watching his tanking build/explanation and go from there. You can upgrade to Demeter later on, then the final destination being Ishtar.
Ishtar gives a passive that won't let your partner die. Instead, if they suffer a fatal blow, they will survive it with 1 HP but the rest of the damage will be passed on to you.
To mitigate this damage you can go with Cleansing LIght and Iron Will, as well as getting a Blood Veil that has great resistances.
Gift extension requires the season pass can you find another way for people who don’t have the season pass?

Dunno if you figured it out yet, but Mia has two different blood codes thanks to DLC, you need the *"Alternate Mia Set"* to get access to her second Blood Code, it's known as Astrea and can be found in the basement of Home Base.
Little disappointed that the one skill we could use is locked behind the preorder deluxe, Gift extension would work so well and you can it with this build to have allot of fun. Sadly, deluxe preorder only TwT

Cleansing Light is a great gift, but the cool down is a little slow.

With access to the DLC (thunder one) there is a gift that grants Dex and Mnd up. Would this be able to work to gain the ability to use bridge to glory?
So, I got a better understanding of the game. The stat up passive increases the stat by one grading (C to C+; C+ to B; ... etc). So, yes it can work. Getting it is a major pain tho. Good luck.

What code is this under I've looked through all of my codes but I have them all because I have the trophy. You don't lose any when you go into another playthrough do you?
You might lose the story unlocked ones not sure though since i haven't beaten it myself but if you can't find it then that's probably why.

Forgive me if this is stupid question to some, but how do you get that blue glide thing as a dodge?
Your mobility has quick which is based on you’re weapon and blood veil
im still ne to the game, but how do you dodge like at 5:08 instead of rolling
some buffs and being in the quick mobility will make you dodge that way which I prefer personally however the normal roll doges are also not bad.
You should probably explain how to get the things and if they are missable or not

Nah, you’re doing nothing wrong, enemies just hit incredibly hard in the enhanced difficulty for ng+

I was wondering this as well. Currently using a +6 Enduring Crimson and it's done me extremely well.

its a part of the season pass, it come with alternate mia, preorder bonus is a blood code with an ability that do damage around you while damaging you, and a bonus armor.
This build should be called the Queens 8 inner gates cuz this can kill you after being op for a certain amount of time just like rock Lee's 8 gates Jutsu

How do you get opportunism and stun shot? Wiki doesn't have it and there's no info online? I beat the game and still don't have it. Also my Artemis gifts are different than yours, I have 10, and gift extension isn't one of them. I am lost
There are two blood codes from Mia Karnstein.
Oh. Well I found opportunism and stun shot. Opportunism is from gustavs side quest and stun shot is from cliffs of rust depths map which is from self important revenanents side quest

A stun weapon, Prometheus, a 1H sword and.....?
I used the night claw blood veil until I found the noble silver +6 in the city of the burning flames. The night claw is a good option early on as it has low weight and respectable drain damage. The best weapon according to me for this build until you get the burning claw is one of these : crimson longsword (Louis's sword), queenslayer sword , ardent wolf blade. Get them to +6 till you reach city of the fallen flames. As for the bloodcode use Prometheus until you get queen slayer.

I do remember that opportunism is found in one of the depth maps (although I can't remember which one) and it is found as an RV-mastery item

Think you need the deluxe edition or the season pass for the astrea blood code
You need to find the EOS vestiges. They're dropped by the Attendants outside each Successor Crypt. They're the Io look alike chicks. After you defeat each Successor go back to where they were standing. The vestiges will be there.

just replace the stun active gift with fire, and transform for fire.. done, you're the same build, but fire instead of stun.. and won't be as effective, but it'll work
You can just add a flame cartridge.
