- Once again, it's Wednesday, so it's time for another installment of "Western New York Wednesday" here on the channel. This week, I'm reviewing another beer from the Frequentem Brewing Company, and it's their Just Fruit (Strawberry, Concord Grape & Peach). This is a Sour Ale that is brewed with strawberries, Concord grapes and peaches. I love this series, and this sounds like a beautiful mix of fruits that I love, so let's see how it is!

Thanks, Billy! I think this is a beer most people would like a sip or two and move on. I think that's par for the course when it comes to the style. I'm starting to slow down on drinking and reviewing them, but still enjoy them from time to time. Delicious, although not for everyone.

This style of sour isn’t usually up my alley but I would totally get this one because Concord grapes are so effing good. We accidentally got some a few months ago and they’re so much better that regular grapes. This beer has to be delicious.
A non-beer recommendation would be Spindrift Grapeade flavor which is sparkling water. It’s just Concord grape juice, lemon juice and water. That’s it. No added sugar or “natural flavors.” Obviously significantly more subtle than something like this but really tasty. A little pricey at $6 an 8 pack but worth trying for sure. They also released an Island Punch which is passion fruit juice, orange juice, and guava juice. That one is amazing as well.
I love me some Concord grapes, as well. So delicious! I've enjoyed the couple of Spindrift I've had, so I'll have to check that flavor out. It's a nice balance between sparking water (which I'm typically not a fan of) and zero sugar soda pop (which I enjoy). Much healthier than the latter, too. I'll keep my eye out for that and Island Punch.
