- In this review, I'm going to take a look at another collaboration beer, this time between the Kettlehead Brewing Company (@kettleheadbrewingcompany870) and Modestman Brewing, and it's their No Time To Die. This is an New England Double IPA that is brewed with Citra, HBC 638, Spectrum and Quantum hops. Full disclosure, I had this one recently at the 2024 Rochester Real Beer Expo at Innovative Field in downtown Rochester, NY, and Jim from Kettlehead was kind enough to send me home with a can to review after the event. How is it? Let's find out! I also want to give a huge thanks to Jim for the beer!
Commercial Description:
CITRA/HBC638/SPECTRUM and QUANTUM HOPS send this NEW COLLABORATION into uncharted waters. The HEAVIEST Dry Hop we have ever attempted. 10 lbs per bbl will blow you away. Every sip sends Waves of sweet tangerine and clementine, like a Rollercoaster on your to Tounge. Peach and passion fruit jump in for the ride as the layers continue to build. Thick orange sherbert and dole whip pineapple complete the tropical onslaught. NO TIME TO DIE IS NO JOKE. A must try for any New England IPA fan. We are super excited to share this masterpiece.

Thanks for watching!
Hi Joe! So glad you enjoyed this one. Definitely one of my favorites of 24’ so far. We have distribution throughout NH, MA, RI, NY, NJ, VA, and DC. Prices vary per state but my guess is around $22 per 4-pack in WNY. Cheers!
Thanks for the information in addition to the beer, Jim! Duly noted for the next few reviews. This beer was awesome, so not surprised it's one of your favorites from this year so far!
Cheers, dude!
And that's the reason i have not seen any Kettlehead, in Maine. Had 5-6 DIPA's from Modestman, and have not been impressed yet, but they are good. Who do you think is the better DIPA brewer - Kettlehead or Modestman? When you guys coming to Maine?
I can't speak to Modestman since I've only had their Double Sunshine, and it was pretty good. Outside of that, nothing else. So, by default, Kettlehead takes the win. That said, I've had some great Kettlehead beers, and this is my favorite. Hope to see them in ME at some point!
That beer sounds delicious wishing I could get my mittens on some 😢cheers 🍻
It was absolutely fantastic, Billy! Kettlehead makes some good beer, and this is probably my favorite from them.
Cheers, buddy!
I said the same thing about this beer being the best I've had from Kettlehead in awhile. I reviewed it on Beermans channel I believe
Cheers Joe
Noice! Do you remember what show it was? I'd like to check it out and see what you said in comparison to me. Let me know if you remember.
Cheers, Jesse!
Sent you an email with the link@@averagejoe716
Thanks, Jesse!
Dude, it's wild that you said fruit bowl and I said a "tropical fruit bowl of awesomeness." I didn't get as much lime or citrus as Dan did, but we all seem to be on the same page that this is awesome. My can seemed to be a bit more carbonated than yours, but not by a whole lot. Definitely softer than anticipated. Thanks for sharing the link, buddy!
Let me start off with this 14% barrel aged imperial stout. 😂
LOL! Yeah, those are the brilliant decisions I make at beer festival despite doing a bit of research. Real smart. Ah, well. At least this was as good as I remember ... even a bit better.
Cheers, WInston!
🤦♂️🤬10-15 pours in!!
LMAO! Of course, those are very small pours (2-3 fl. oz). Even so, when you're drinking all kinds of beer at typically higher ABVs, all bets are off. Just happy this one was just as good as I remember, haha!
Cheers, Angel!
