I'm proud to say I've seen blanche in the Wimbledon theatre 🎥 in HARVEY THE IN INVALUABLE RABIT🐰🐇 she was absolutely brilliant 👏🏽 as she was in golden girls. Iwas only a young girl at the time when i watched the golden girls. & not that much older when i saw her in Wimbledon. & im 44 years old & so glad i can still watch these golden oldies.
I'm reading Rue's autobiography. She talks about that time and was flummoxed because she said the audience reactions were rather tepid. She would have loved to hear you had enjoyed it so much because she thought her comedic acting didn't translate well in Englad.
i always loved the show...especially Betty white. i met her years ago coming out of a shoe store in atlantic city... she was there on an animal rights conference, i saw on the box where she had a very narrow shoe size like mine...i mentioned it and she smiled and gave me a big hug!!!!!!!!!RIP Betty, Rue, Estelle and Bea. Thank you, ChuckRazor, for noticing that was Mr. Hearn and for pointing out that to us. Recently, I was listening to him sing on a CD recording of the L.A. cast of "Sunset Boulevard". So good!

I can’t get over how great their legs look in those bird costumes
Thank God someone else noticed...
Nice lol well if you spend your whole life in show business, ever heard of dancers legs 🙌

Personally I hate it when in a show they do that
@@devonmunn5728 good for you? IDK
What's funny is the version with this play sounds even more interesting and exciting then the original script it was written for.

her facial expression after she said it...I always rewind that part back a few times...
Lol 😂😂 😂😂
The costumes in that Henny penny skit were beautiful - and perfect- as were the lyrics to that song.
I agree, I enjoyed it so much ! Kinda in the way a child would have total glee watching it
Nobody can make a perfect Henny Penny adaptation play more nostalgic than the three Golden girls sisters!!

Yeah that was better than it was supposed to be.
I love how Rue acts with her whole body, she just had to shimmy while calling out that guy lol
I always think of this during the tango scene with Rue and Betty 😂
“All of you who had a good time but your hand back up.”
“Ed you damn liar put your hand down!!”
Best part,
Rose: Help!
Blanche: Heelp!!
Dorothy: (Deadpan) Help…
Always 😂
hahahahah yeah XD
That’s not even the best part. Her reaction to Rose’s plea is hilarious, but when Blanche shouts, her reaction is priceless!

@Jacob Potter lol u ain’t lie 😂😂😂
It gets me everytime I hear Dorothy say "help" as turkey lurkey
There will never be another golden girls, I could watch them forever! 😣💖💐

Love Dorothy’s stand up routine. 😂
I was an adult before I caught the "self basting" joke during the Henny Penny episode. Pretty naughty. 😜

What I never understood about the Patrick Vaughn episode is - when did he have enough time to date that many women??
:) Maybe the private performances of Mr. Vaughn were less Shakespearean in nature and more Looney Tunes "That's All, Folks"? :)
He was a womanizer
Maybe a lot of Viagra!

Rue McClanahan, Betty White and Bea Arthur were excellent.
