Bruh the songs of Achilles. You don’t have to cry but you can feel your gut twist while reading the end… most beautiful and cinematic book ever.didnt feel like “reading a book” but playing a movie
I have the ebook of this book and I’ve been kinda procrastinating to read it! I just finished the Hawthorne series, almost 1 book a day lol and now I think it’s time to give this a try! Seems to be something smoothly spicy!
It's based on the Greek story of Achilles and his 'comapanion and closest friend', Patroclus(Might be the wrong spelling). And in the war thing that zi Forgot the name of. That's all I can tell you without any spoilers, sorry! Edit: Forgot to mention that Patroclus is the one you're following in the book and his side of the story. There's different versions of the book--new and old version. I honestly like the old one better! Though, the new one is still good! Aside from that, I personally enjoyed it! If you're interested, I recommend it.
don’t forget “I would know him blind, by the way his breaths came and his feet struck the earth. I would know him in death, at the end of the world.”
I cried at the end don’t forget this quote “he waits for you”
