An idiot fixes his portal SFM files (feat. meme music 2011)

a long and boring video of the process I took to fix my portal and portal 2 files in SFM on my new computer. At least it worked in the end.
Due to the upcoming shelter-in-place order where I live, more video coming soon. Something everyone's been asking for.

Unfortunate update: it appears that although my area is closing all "non-essential" services and stores, mine is currently considered """essential""" so I will not have the time I thought I would to make the next video. There will still be progress, though.

Im having problems on importing Portal 2 maps in SFM, I've already downloaded the DLC also used the vpk packs, exported them and put them in the usermod folder, but somehow they don't appear in the load map tab, its blank. Is there someway you could help me import them or im just missing a step?
