What doe it mean if you can't get one of your wrist to the floor to move into the angel .. one shoulder+ elbow +wrist is fine the other wants to float off into the air away from the floor ... I do have something going on with that arm at the moment but not sure what it's mainly shoulder discomfort when it's being pulled to far back and out direction
How do you prevent your lower from arching when you do resistance rows, band pull apart, etc? Trying to correct rounded shoulders but lower back arches during those exercises and leads to more pain.
What if when my lower back is flat on the floor my shoulders and head come several inches off the floor? I am unable to lie flat on the floor to even do this excercise.
What did he mean when he said "maybe only do floor angel forever"? Once the floor angel loosens the restrictions then shouldnt you move to the wall? Thanks, Randy Drace
Doing floor angels. Can't get my left arm, back of hand flush with the floor. Right arm can fine. Left arm, should feels soooooo restricted in the stretch. What can I do to increase flexibility, ROM of left shoulder to get the back of the left hand flush against the floor? TIA
Me neither. So What I’ve done is I’ve bought dumbbells and put them on my wrists to force my arms on the floor, and I got concrete slab and other heavy stuff and put it on my belly to force it down. Tense your abs as hard as possible to make lower back go down. I do it without top so I cos feel my lower back touch on the cold ground so I know it’s making contact and not arching.
I've been doing the wall angel for quite sometime. I could never get my arms against the wall. The floor angel is good in that you can get the small of your back flat against the floor, but I still can't get my arms flat to the floor. Is this normal? I am 66 years old.
I am also learning to do this exercise. As I understand from other videos, this is normal at first. Hold something in your hands (for example, light dumbbells). Better yet, have someone gently press your hands and elbows to the floor. Then you can relax your muscles.
Excellent explanation!
THIS IS HARD OMG THANK YOU
When i move my arms up in down in the W position, i get lots of cracking in my shoulder blade area
Me watching this video with hunch back 😂
Great vid. Should I be tucking my chin in when doing this exercise?
Yes, tucking in the chin a bit is a good idea.
Thank you :)
You're welcome!

SAME.
have a question, ideally there shouldnt be a gap between neck and floor?
there should be a gap - like in the video.
My wrist doesn’t touch the floor. How long does it take for the wrists touch the floor?
If you’ve been doing it everyday till my reply, you should be okay now.

Simple, don't arch your low back! Mind your pelvic position, and engage your core during those exercises, so that you don't arch your low back...
Tightening your glutes (butt) and abs can help with your pelvic position and keep your lower back against the floor/wall
Did you ask this before actually watching the video dood? Wha😮😳
Hello
Can you please make a video to fix anterior pelvic tilt
We have it here: ua-cam.com/video/12skRq1gKL4/v-deo.html

Was doing these and my left shoulder started hurting. I have a knot below my left shoulder. Feels like a protruding rib.

Some people will never be able to do it properly at the wall, so its okay to just do them on the floor (for eternity).
He's disable

Slap a dumbbell or some sort of heavy weight in your hand, and roll it onto your wrists. It pins them to the ground.
I can't do it without arching my back....how do I do it properly?

Maybe put a small box under your feet
How many times must I do exercise?
Shoot for 10 reps, 2-3 sets.

@@andreykuznetsov7442 Thank you very much for that. 😊
my top abs are tight from this, what does it mean?
You have aids buddy
Is it normal for my shoulders to be sore after doing this?
Of course
@@alexjulius69 thank you so much, I was worried I might’ve had shoulder impingement or bursitis
@@aaron0592 That's just what happens when you train a muscle group that you've never trained before, yeah it's perfectly normal and it'll go away
I'm watching this vid then ads pop up and that ad telling me don't exercise...WTF?
i cant even do this
