One of the best points in this video was when you talked about taking responsibility instead of making excuses. It hit hard when you said, “When you don't take responsibility, you give up your power to change things.” That's so true! It’s so easy to blame external stuff, but owning up to mistakes is what actually helps us grow and earn respect. Definitely something I need to work on myself. Thanks for the reminder!

I dont do any of these and never have....I think I am a mystery to almost everyone:
      1. They see I am female , they make asumptions.
      2. They see I am mature they make assumptions.
      3. They see I LOOK like an aging but not wrecked 60ish Breck girl/cheerleader of the 60s...WASPY blonde. They probably make the MOST erroneous assumptions about this.
      4. They eventually hear I am a retired clini cal psychology professor and university administrator...more assumptions.
      5. I participate in none of the behaviors listed.
      Assumtioms include:
      1. I must have soemthing wrong with ME I was trying to fix since I became a psychologist.
      2. Maybe I can read other people's thoughts.
      3. Maybe I can "fix" them! And maybe they can get free therapy if they befriend me...that backfires on them because if they are a close friend I cannot treat them anyway...besides I dont practice anymore....
      4. All professors have no common sense or practical skills.
      5. I want to hear their dreams the asleep kind not the goal/fantasies kind.
      6. Or I want to hear about their sex life.
      7. Or I want to hear why men are so bad or that women are impossible to please.
So mostly I just stand or sit and listen BRIEFLY, then excuse myself. I do have some close friends...we talk about sailing, or our dogs, or our travels, or ideas....

To be successful, you need to make plans and work towards them. Investing is still the smartest way to prepare the unexpected. I have been investing constantly for 6 years now and I'm extremely pleased with the returns. For anyone who want to start; The good news is it's never late to start...

Watching this captivating video stirs up painful memories of the recent end of my 4 year relationship. My beloved partner chose to depart, leaving me with an unyielding ache. Despite my relentless efforts to reconcile, I find myself grappling with frustration and an inability to envision a future without him. Despite attempts to purge him from my mind, I remain haunted by his absence, feeling compelled to express my longing here.

Gossip is bonding ONLY in the Beauty Salon business! Good gossip l mean, lt is the backbone of the Industry!!! The only catch is to choice the select few to gossip to.....because l guarantee it will come back to you....l once worked in a salon with an inexpienced lazy boss we all talked it over, she left on her own! It just wasn't her thing! She was collecting a salary for doing nothing and mean to boot! After she left my coworkers and myself were much closer!!! Gossip really worked that time! We each had stories about how badly she ran the salon and how she treated us all! I am glad we shared! Now we have a nice hard working manager who fits in with the rest of us! All of us have been in the industry more than 35 years!!!! Lol!!!😂 We know a lazy manager when we see one!!!!🎉

bad habits? the only feature that's considered uber positive and will make you popular whatever you do is physical beauty. AND passive-aggressive games are intrinsic part of the Englander's way of being since they want to be clever and direct confrontation even to sorting out a problem is seeing as too explicit and naive

hi. another thing is the hygiene, well some people, are strange? for example i know a person who said to me did you shower? i always do, she was the smelly one, who smokes, drinks and is into people, in a big way. I said to another person, i am always well dressed clean and young fresh and beautiful. what the f. is her problem and who does she hang around with...I do notice, people think they re great and in reality, others smell and think them as totally different...

To the one about being fashionably late yes, I myself suffer from ADHD and autism and I am learning there are skills we can learn to help us with things like timeline syndrome. I am learning to set reminders of upcoming events that expect me to be punctual. So I have a week to 24 hours to prepare. I’m learning to prepare for tomorrow by laying out my clothes the night before and packing whatever bag is appropriate for the event whether it’s dinner or my daily job! Luck happens when preparation meets opportunity! I don’t know how much luck you have in your life but this quote definitely reminds me what to do to improve my luck in my life

He is very encouraging & not pointing fingers you you you. I would listen to him all day. The other great thing is he listened to when someone talked to him about his problems & that would make it easier for anyone to talk to him & two that's why he's such a motivational encourager today at least for me. I will save & listen again & take notes in what areas I have to change because we all have areas to change in & as he said rather than complaining & pointing fingers
