black gold is a good starter for seedling. its not super strong and balanced

I got into growing pumpkins by kicking a rotten pumpkin off my porch and accidentally grew 24 feet of jungle. That’s when I knew anyone could do it. 😂
This all helps but really not much to it. You could plant whole ass pumpkins if you wanted. 😂
That's how I got into growing pumpkins too! I moved into my new house, and the old owner's jack-o'-lantern from the previous year started growing out of the compost pile. As long as you can keep the plant alive, you can totally grow a big pumpkin!
