We are volunteer Rangers at Indiana Dunes National Park. So sorry you didn’t get the help you were looking for. While at the Visitor Center, we would have been happy to help you, and as fans of your channel, would have enjoyed meeting you as well.
Beautiful Indiana Dunes National Park has an amazing plant diversity. The fact that the park is small and surrounded by industrial areas makes it all the more important to preserve. Thanks for taking the time to visit!
If you go to Southern Indiana, I highly recommend visiting Madison which is on the Ohio River. 130+ blocks on the National Register of Historic Places. Many interesting shops and restaurants, beautiful waterfront park.
Enjoyable as usual. We lived in South Bend, IN from 1987-1990 when kids were little and went to the Sand Dunes. I did not realize there was so much to it. Thank you for sharing.
I sure hope you get a chance to spend at least a night in Petoskey, Mi about an hour north of Traverse City. I am born and raised here, and have never taken the areas beauty for granted. Many things to see. As we say" Have fun up north"
Hi. We enjoy watching your videos. Cherry Republic is one of our favorite stores. Next time you go grab the cherry salsa. Holland & Saugatuck, MI are great places to visit also.
Highway 37 was awesome. It was our first long trip in our class B. Loved Chateau Chantel with its views. Spent quite a bit in the Cherry Republic. So fun.
I've been watching your videos for the last two years as I also live and travel full time in a Grech RV. Just wanted to say hi as I was surprised to see you in my home town of Traverse City. Keep making great videos. Maybe I'll run into you guys someday out there on the road.
Hello hello! Awesome video! Thank you for sharing your adventures with us! We go to Milwaukee once or twice per year; I have really come to enjoy it. Cool architecture……tons of arts things to do……awesome waterfront…..and, the folks have been friendly. Heather and I FINALLY made it to the Iowa State Fair this year. My boss had his birthday party during that time that included one of the nations leading Rolling Stones cover bands! We stayed downtown and also score a visit to the big farmers market! All in all, it was a super visit! Whooaaa…..Indiana really has some hidden treasures that they don’t get credit for. I just pulled my camper out of storage. After my flights on Monday, we will head out for 2 weeks of Colorado exploring. We will start in the north by Steamboat Springs as the leaves are starting to turn up there. I believe on my last texting, we were looking to consider Tucson as a moving spot; but I told Heather she needs to go there in the summer. Ha…we had a 1 week trip to Palm Springs this summer (118 deg), and then the following week to Tucson (106). Ha…that kind of swayed her thoughts of Tucson, for now hehehehe. But…that concept is not dead. We will just incorporate some other locations in our travels that don’t have the extreme temps, to compare. However, I think we will head to Tucson for 2 months this winter; and I just airline back to Ouray on my flight days.
Hey there! Glad you made it to the Iowa State Fair! Hopefully you also enjoyed some of the good foods-on-a-stick! 😋 And the Des Moines Farmers Market is one of our favs. Glad you had a good visit there! Enjoy your trip in Colorado. I’m sure it will be so beautiful this time of year. Oh yes, Palm Springs and AZ in the summer… woowee 🥵! You could try taking Heather to FL to experience the heat and humidity in the summer then she might think AZ is not so bad 😂! Take care & safe travels!!
I live in Michigan and love our state parks and camping along lake Michigan, so happy to see you visit our beautiful state again ❣️ We camped ar Indiana Dunes State Park the week of August 19th! Our son, who lives in Chicago, joined us by taking the commuter train right by there. Wonder if you were there then! 🩵
I loved this video! But I may be a bit biased. I lived in Northwest Indiana for a few years and met my husband there. We went to Mt. Baldy on our first date. Back in the good ole days when you could still climb right up it and it hadn't moved toward the parking lot! Made me long to be there today.
Traverse City use to be the spot. Great dining options but has gotten very commercial. If you want to see the real beauty and charm travel the pennisulas and Lake Lelanau area.
Loved Traverse City. I was my usual adventurous self and had Dinner & a pint of Guinness in Kilkenny's Irish pub. Hope you're both well and your mom is on the mend Michelle.
Traverse city is really a neet place beautiful water! We live down state but rv all up around there Another spot witch is REALLY nice is up a little firther is Charlevoix and Petoskey 😊
We are presently in the Traverse City area near Sleeping Bear Dunes. We stayed in South Bend and took a day trip to Indiana Dune (not impressed with this Park). Headed up to Silver Lake Dunes for a few day and really enjoyed that and are now in Traverse City. Next stop Mackinaw.
We were at Cherry Republic two weeks ago. Such a beautiful area on the Lake MI coastline and north. Traverse City is gorgeous. Water water water!! So many vineyards on way to Old Mission. So beautiful.
Just added this to our bucket list!!! I had the best coconut cream pie this week from the Thunderbird restaurant in Orderville Utah (Home of the Ho-made pies) I thought of you Michelle, it was soooo good!!!!
I’m so glad you did Traverse City. I put that on my bucket list touring bike rides I want to do. And that scenic highway looks amazing!! That trip would also include going to Mackinaw Island 😊
Thanks, interesting overview of INDIANA DUNES NP.. ETC. So glad the Area is …. Protected, a NATIONAL treasure, , etc. (;We are from Porter *& KOSCIUSKO COUNTIES respectively: many days , Dates, Swims( BRR, Lake Michigan,) etc.
great video. inspires us to want to travel to Lake Michigan again. Rec'd the info on the cruise. It is a great deal! I appreciate that you two want to meet the LivinRVision viewers and provide opportunities to have fun as a group! This channel helps to make up for our sadness at having to give up RVing. But God provides other ways.
Next trip north from Michigan City, you really need to stick to the Lake Michigan shoreline instead of going through Grand Rapids. Frankly, you missed out on some of the most beautiful shorelines in the US. Plus, there are plenty of small towns along the way as well.
Glad to hear your mom is doing better. Wow 92!! Staying patient will probably be the hardest part for her (and for others LOL). Do you think that water glows at night? Or you would if you swam there?? You and Barry both have the same problem with saying Traverse City. LOL. Made us laugh. Love Mackinac Island! (We just arrived at Lake Tahoe (Tahoe Valley TT)
Nice I love swimming next to the nuclear power plant. What’s up with the wipes? Are you an astronaut take a shower. The meal looked good. Happy travels.
We’ll share more Grech content when we have useful updates to offer. We’re not salespeople, and we’ve agreed with Grech to continue providing content in our usual style. As a travel channel, we prefer not to focus on the same topics repeatedly. Instead, we showcase how the Grech Strada-ion makes our travels much smoother compared to when we had a Class A or our Airstream. In most of our videos, we include small, helpful tips or demonstrate the ease of traveling with the Strada-ion. If you don’t watch the entire videos by skipping through, you might miss those insights. The good thing is, we don’t have things breaking down like others often do, which limits what we can talk about…which is a good thing. We always strive to keep things real.
A monkey? Perhaps stemming from pie deprivation Michelle? 😅. My thoughts and prayers for your mom’s speedy recovery. And an excellent adventure this week. Stay safe, stay well.
West Michigan altogether is a hidden gem! I love Traverse City!

Sure wish we could have met you! Also wish we would have had more time to spend there too, that would have helped. 😊🤓

Bryan. Love the eyes when u look at her. 😃 we sure enjoy your videos
Cherry Republic looked like a cool place. You picked a great piece of pie, Michelle. That Pie Lady looked just like you. Too cute!

We were unable to get there during this trip. We try new places every time we visit the same state.

WOW, gorgeous area. Thank you for taking us along.
Your food looked awesome, oh my Pie stops are so fun ❤ your music choices always
Michelle, so glad your mom is on the mends! 😁 safe travels!! See ya soon! 😁

I love Michigan. I really love the UP and Mackinac area. Beautiful video.
Beautiful homes in a national park. Too cool. Hope Michelle's Mom is on the mend. Praying for her.❤
💕🙏🏻 Prayers for your Mom.
That pie looked so good! See you next week!

Glad to hear Michelle’s mom is doing okay. But I can’t believe you didn’t go the Wisconsin state Fair and get brats, cheese curds and corn on the cob!
😂 Believe us, if we could have, we would have!
And don’t forget the famous Wisconsin State Fair cream puff!
TRA-verse!
Prayers for mama and you two. ❤ But I needed to tell Michelle, pssst I see squirrel monies all the time.😊😂😂😂 ~Patty
😂 🤓

This is the first time I've seen this part of Indiana. Ahh, pie...yummy!
Loved Traverse City. I was my usual adventurous self and had Dinner & a pint of Guinness in Kilkenny's Irish pub. Hope you're both well and your mom is on the mend Michelle.
That pie looked delicious. Love the crumble crust.

@@LivinRVision dang!!!
Born and raised in Michigan and you stopped me in my tracks. I had to back up the vlog to make sure I heard what you said. Stop that!! 🤣🤣🤣
😂
Just added this to our bucket list!!! I had the best coconut cream pie this week from the Thunderbird restaurant in Orderville Utah (Home of the Ho-made pies) I thought of you Michelle, it was soooo good!!!!
Yum!! 🤓
What is that song at 5.43..we love it..and thanks for sharing all your beautiful travels
I would have to go back and listen and go find it in my library. We are currently on a Group Cruise with a group of our viewers.
I’m so glad you did Traverse City. I put that on my bucket list touring bike rides I want to do. And that scenic highway looks amazing!! That trip would also include going to Mackinaw Island 😊
We did Mackinac about 3 years ago and we loved it there! We did a video about it. A place we want to return someday.
@@LivinRVision I saw that! I’ve known about the island since the movie Somewhere in Time was released. Perfect place to bike ride!
You were in my home area. FYI, the locals refer to tourists as " fudgies" because of the local fudge shops that they flock to .
Thanks, interesting overview of INDIANA DUNES NP.. ETC. So glad the Area is …. Protected, a NATIONAL treasure, , etc. (;We are from Porter *& KOSCIUSKO COUNTIES respectively: many days , Dates, Swims( BRR, Lake Michigan,) etc.
a better park that has sand dunes on the Lake is Warren State Park in Sawyer, MI; there are RV sites to rent; it also has a great beach.

Too many funnies in this weeks video! 😅 Brian, you OBVIOUSLY need to brush up on your Jimmy Buffett before the cruise next week! 😂🎉😂
😂🤣
We now know who is the cool one in the relationship 😂
😂
Glad to hear your mom is doing better. Wow 92!! Staying patient will probably be the hardest part for her (and for others LOL).

You and Barry both have the same problem with saying Traverse City. LOL. Made us laugh.
Love Mackinac Island! (We just arrived at Lake Tahoe (Tahoe Valley TT)
You go first and let us k ow if you turn green. 😂
Enjoy Mackinac Island! Love it there!
We want to know what number was the cherry pie. Lol sure looked good.
That was a good 8.5 🤓
Cool. Keep up with reviews on pie for us. Haha. They always look yummy
Ironic Title. I refer to Michele as the Midwestern beauty.
❤😊
Next time you are going through, stop in South Haven and eat at Clementines and get onion rings and French onion soup
We wanted you to go pet the corgis...we have a corgi...😂❤
😂 🐕
Bryan be nice to Michelle! Too much teasing !
We tease each other all the time and neither of us take offense so neither should you, enjoy the laughter as we continue to keep it real, not fake. 😁🤓
Traverse like Travis
The funny thing is all the different pronunciations we found online. Tra-vrs seems to be the correct way, as you mentioned here too. Thanks.
Nice I love swimming next to the nuclear power plant. What’s up with the wipes? Are you an astronaut take a shower. The meal looked good. Happy travels.
The wipes were for the sand on our feet. 😂
