OhMyGoodness…. I can’t stop laughing at Michelle, waving goodbye to Michigan and Fishermen, “catch a big one”, 😂 her facial expression was priceless.
Great video! Thanks for taking us along. 😊
It was a great video again. Did not hear anything about the cost but we are looking into it. Thanks for letting us ride along.
Thanks for the Saturday shipboard tour. DW
Our family took this trip in 1961, wow that was 63 years ago. I remember this vividly we had a blast! Brings back memories thanks for posting this video.😊
We’re glad it brought back great memories for you. 🧡😊🤓
That was cool. I have added the USS Badger to my bucket list.
This was one of the most inclusive videos I've seen by a content creator that truly showed our SS Badger. So glad you both enjoyed the experience. We welcome you back to our beautiful Ludington any time!

Enjoyed my Saturday video with y’all.
Howdy - great video - enjoyed it! Have a great weekend.
That looks like a pretty cool experience. Great video!
Interesting video! ❤❤
Looks like a fun voyage to add to my Wi travels! Thanks
❤ when I grow up I whanna be just like Pat.
😂 We sure had an amazing time with y’all on the cruise!
A very enjoyable Video to watch. PRAYERS to Michele's Mom, I hope she is doing better...❤
This was very helpful as I am planing a trip to Wisconsin/Michigan in 2025. And having a maritime background I am excited about taking this historic ferry. Enjoy your time with Michelle's mom.
I took the auto ferry in 1966 from Milwaukee to Ludington. It was an overnight trip. Then went up to the Interlochen Music Camp to visit a friend. We then went up to Machinaw Island for the day.
Nice to see the crazy tree huggers have not destroyed everything.
Fun trip thanks for the history lesson 👍👊😎
That looked like fun.
I was born and raised in Manitowoc and the Badger will always stay close to my heart! My mom was a volunteer at the Manitowoc Maritime Museum and was gifted a round trip for two on the Badger, and I got to go with her…we made a girls day out of it! Twenty years later I crossed from Manty to Ludington with my husband (to avoid the Chicago traffic), on our way home to Montreal, Quebec. Everyone should experience it, for sure!
I’m so glad you took the time to do it!
Thank you so much for sharing. 🧡😊🤓
Pretty Cool. Thanks
That was awesome
My sister and I were there 2 weeks ago!!! It was amazing!!!!❤
But we went to Michigan from Wisconsin!
❤ the badger is high on my to do list
We took the ferry in August with our 25 ft. motorhome. Yes, we recommend it! Certainly more relaxing than Chicago traffic! We mostly sat on a side deck under a lifeboat to avoid the light rain that fell from time to time.
Our bucket list just keeps growing watching your alls video.😂
So cool! That was an adventure for sure!
I would have been in a world of hurt!! Reverse is my worst gear!! What a beautiful voyage. Loved the tour.
We trust you saw some improvement when seeing your Mom 🙏
Yes she has improved some. Thank you! 🧡
💕🙏🏻 Prayers for your Mom.
Thank you 🧡
What a cool ferry ride !! Great video !!
Hi. Fun joining you on The Badger. She's a big old boat, eh? I used to live in Milwaukee. Northwest side of town. Born and raised. Hubby and I moved north to Port Washington WI, which is on Lake Michigan, in 2008. You passed a highway sign on I-43 with Port Washington on it, but you didn't stop in. I hope mom is doing better. I, myself, am still recuperating from a nasty car accident. 15 broken ribs. Yes, really. Fx C2, pelvis, bruised lung and heart. Take care, and drive carefully please.💖
Oh no! We’re so sorry about your accident! We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery.❤️🩹🙏🏻
Very Cool
Thank you for always giving us such great history lessons along the way
I truly appreciate you guys and all the work you put into the best videos ever
❤ It
I think I know where the expression “come to a screeching halt” comes from lol🙉 safe travels 😁
It looks like a pretty small load that day. In the height of the tourist season it gets really crowded. I have also seen some pretty big trucks go across, even blades for the big windmills.
Great video. Love you guys. I sure do hope to run into you all sometime and say HI!!!! I've been watching for a few years and you are such an encouragement. We don't RV but travel often and will be in warmer climates for a few weekends this winter. Maybe our paths will coincide. Blessings to you! -Melissa
We would love to meet you as well! 🧡😊🤓
How cool😊
Thanks for another great informative video.
Cool ferry ride. There’s the maritime museum in Manitowoc that is a good place to visit. Has the USS Cobia submarine there. liked the Jumbo Cantore ending!
🤪😉
I took that the summer of 2022 and headed to Door County after that
Love the video. We were camping in Ludington over Labor Day weekend. Went down to the dock to look at the ship. Quite impressive. The horn was awesome.
Agree! 🧡
😊❤😊
Oh they have Mountain Dew, my favorite beverage!
Loved this! We’ve lived in Wisconsin all our lives and haven’t traveled on the SS Badger. I think we need to experience it. Disappointed we didn’t get to see you sample a piece of pie.
Glad you enjoyed it!
🥧🤓
A little longer on the signs please, it was tough to read the bottom of the sign at 4:10. Brian you do a great job with the videos!
Don’t forget, you can pause also if there’s something you want to read more of. Thank you.
@@LivinRVision well I do that but, that was hard to stop on, as it wasn’t up long when the camera went to bottom quickly.
Hey Brian and Michele, have y’all ever rode your bikes on the bike trails in Milwaukee? Good video! Take care guys! Were y’all in any of the floods?
We have not, but we also don’t have the ebikes on the back anymore. We drop them off at storage a couple years ago. We were on the group cruise and luckily did not have any rain. We were very fortunate.
I’m assuming the Norwegian Cruise Line ship to Alaska will be a step up? 😂😂
😂 A little more luxurious 😉
I paid $450 for the rig & the jeep, but when you consider driving from Wisconsin around Michigan (and the pain of driving through Chicago) it was worth it. I also paid for the cabin so I could take a nap. ua-cam.com/video/txyd3zxCBUE/v-deo.html See ya!
‘Landmark’?
So what if you do have pets, propane, or firearms? Can't board?
According to their website, you’re able to bring firearms but they must remain in your vehicle, not with you on the ship. Pets also stay in the vehicle. You just have to let them know if you have any of these things. My guess is that they park vehicles with propane in a certain area.
