I bought this plug-in a few days ago. I’ve tried all the neural dsp stuff, among others, and this plug-in works better for me on my setup than anything else. Highly recommended from me, just another no name hobby guitar player.
I have a couple of JST plugins, this one is the best sounding for guitar out of all I've heard. But I have a feeling it would end up with the same problem I have with all the JST plugins. In which they sound great the first like 30 minutes I'm playing then they just start sounding more and more artificial the longer I play. Something about the upper mid range response of all of them ends up getting grating and irritating no matter what I do. I always had to take a break while using them to give my ears a rest.
Hmm interesting, I don't feel that way about this one at all personally - I thought it was the best of the Toneforge plugins I've tried so far for sure.
Dude.. I wish we could somehow play music together haha my bro ryan christian is still doing the two bands as well !! I been playing drums since I was 13 and I'm 27!!
JST Tries a lot to compete with Neural DSP and it shows. Not a bad thing just saying. This plugin is a breath of fresh air from all that old crap they released back in the day like JST Misha Mansoor and JST Jason Richardson, I think those 2 plugins were very bad. Haven`t tried this one but it looks to be completely different. The intro price should be kept forever though or else its just not worth it at all. Neural DSP is still better in the higher prices
Did you do the update for MM? I find it to be much improved. As for the competition with neural I think that’s just a natural part of the market place. I would also say that, while I currently prefer some of the Neural stuff to TFJL, I can definitely see myself reaching for this plug. Particularly because Neural doesn’t have a Mesa. I think it’s also worth noting their approach- where Neural’s always been all about making their plugs reactive like real amps, and JST seems to be more geared toward the sounds being able to sit in a mix really easily. Just my thoughts
@@jonahcovers1856 yeah about the last one I kinda agree, the JST plugins are a bit more idiot-proof with not too much to tweak and destroy your tone and they are made to be used in a mix a bit easier.
If they sound bad it’s because you don’t know how to dial them. You can literally cover songs to their exact guitar tone. Main thing is you’ve gotta learn how to mix and eq to get great tones

Ibanez or schecter by far are the best, i like the schecter omen elites and extremes, id buy a 7 string as well for metal

Lol that dynamic compressor sin
Does it actually sound good? Every other Toneforge sounds like nails on a chalkboard.

@@xdocfearx7329 I can dial tone much better than you I can promise. These plugins are basically a 4K boosted gain box.
A# lol. Kids these days
