- "Theodore Roosevelt: A Cowboy's Ride to the White House" is a one-hour television documentary that details the story of a physically challenged young man from Harvard who came to the Western Frontier in 1883. Theodore Roosevelt came to hunt but fell in love with the Badlands of Dakota and quickly bought a ranch, learned how to ride, carry a 'six-shooter' and acquired the skills that would make him a war hero and an American President. It was in the Badlands of Dakota where the young New York dandy became and American cowboy, democracy and the heritage of the American West.
My material great-grandfather was one of Teddy's cowboys. Carried down are the stories of his time in Madera
Teddy Roosevelt is one of the best presidents in history. Loved his country and its people. The first and only real Progressive president.
Progressives don’t like guns or our country! Sad, but true!
A toy was named after him.
According to the KSPS Public TV documentary "Theodore Roosevelt and the Western Experience", Roosevelt had dinner with a man who, as this Prairie Public documentary details, had killed multiple persons in duels, would later send him a threatening letter and had been charged with murder, prior Roosevelt's return to the New York legislature, and in proximity to the peculiar deaths of his first wife and mother on the same day.
What a handsome face and great President!
Such a shame that this great man has been caught in the web of those who wish to denigrate our history.
Yes it is. It amazes me that they are so highly critical of something they’ve benefited from.
To this day still !
I hit another even likes number.
Is that supposed to be a Scottish accent? Glasgow via Bombay.
