Oh, I'd forgotten Herself the Elf. As you noted, that was an American Greetings product line launched in hope of capitalizing on the Holly Hobbie craze; but it didn't catch on. My dad worked for AG in the 80s and my kids might've gotten some HtE merch as gifts back then - would be long gone, tho.
My parents had the moon with 2 separate stars. There were porcelain angels that went with them. They may have been kits, because so many people had them. My aunt had one too,I believe.
Hahahaha. I used to AGONIZE over these types of purchases. I've gotten a tad more selective at thrift stores knowing how cheap auction prices are. But you are right. It's only $15. Like Steve Martin used to say, " Gee I have $15 dollars, I think I'll throw I out in the street."
My aunts had one of those crescent moon things in their hallway when I was growing up and I always thought it was the coolest little display shelf. It's good to know that they're handmade cuz it drove me absolutely bananas trying to figure out why I could never find one in the store
Another fantastic haul! 😊

Went down the tea pot rabbit hole a couple of years ago. Nuts what that market is like. Great find!

Sewing notions.
Thank you. Where were you when my brain was trying to remember that?
That copper enamel ... thing ... is so cool! I wish your booth was closer - I'd be there in a hot minute to grab it up.
I really like a nice vintage enamel piece.

I love the back story for that. We have similar pasts. My dad worked for Atari and I lived through the hugely unpopular E.T game launch.
The folk art is so cool! Neat teapot! And always love the Pyrex !!
Yes we hit some familiar classics, and some more unusual hand made things.
Great items, John. Have an awesome week.
Thanks for watching as always Vickie.
