Thanks for the shoutout to Fayetteville, AR! That's where I'm from. I live in Elkins which is about 5 miles away from where the Bluebirds of Happiness were made. Great haul:)
I live in Iowa and the mashers are everywhere! What I can't find readily are miniature butter molds and plain ironstone butter pats. I can get them from Etsy, but that is not as much fun as finding them "in the wild"! I love the plate that you got and the picture frames! '
I can hardly find any potato mashers or ironstone butter pats, decorative pats but not ironstone and yes I prefer to find those kind of treasures "in the wild" too. Thanks for watching.
Hello from NC!! Just found your channel on my feed.. I subbed and saved your eBay store as well. I’m not sure what the yellow bird is called, but yellow roses are for friendship so I would say Yellow bird of Friendship world be nice.. Enjoyed your haul. Thanks for sharing 😊
.My grandmother had a Tin just like that basket looking yellow one and I have it now. The point is several years ago in Colorado I found one in an antique shop and the price at that time was $65.00. This was back around the 80’s early 90’s I really enjoy your hauls and all your expressions.
I just picked one up at an occasional antique market for about $18. I have wonderful memories of my mom keeping sewing supplies in hers in the 70s and 80s. Then one day we were shopping at a little antique store in my small hometown and they had one. I said, “Look, Mom! It’s just like yours!” Mom said, “It probably was mine. Nel [the shop owner] bought mine at my garage sale last week.” I was so shocked and a little put off that Mom got rid of it. So I didn’t buy it. I sure wish I had! I’ve been looking for one ever since!
Frames, I gotta stop myself😂 Did you say Asheville NC? Wasn’t that washed away in the hurricane? I have some pics of my family that have the color added. The pics are cool. It is neat looking at history in them. I have an old orange book by Zane grey and the dust cover is clear plastic. Love old bibles! The tin is awesome!! Very neat cake plate. I love looking thru old houses too. You got some very cool stuff, love how you styled the pieces!
I love the pumpkin pillow on the bed. That's the first tomatoes server I've ever seen.
I didn't know tomato servers were a thing until I bought my first one. Thanks for watching.
