As I reach mid life, I’m still figuring a lot out myself as a married person. But some of what I observe is a lot of people who racked up experiences and became bitter because they stayed in the game too long. I saw some people marry their highschool and college sweetheart and work it out for better or worse. Men and women don’t realize that along the way they probably passed up on some genuine people and don’t see where they went wrong. They just kept pushing and the heart grew colder. As we age it gets harder to connect with people who have built up unresolved childhood issues, multiple let downs, and trust issues. And with casual sex as a band aid, people aren’t getting to know one another. The most genuine relationships I had were in my youth when we all had nothing and it was all about who the person is.

If I own a restaurant and I name it Kentucky Fried chicken, it wouldn't make sense for me to start serving nothing but pizza. If they're going to promote this as comedy, they need to keep it comedy. Or at least it has to involve a comedian in the situation to keep with the theme.
