The Domino Effect series ranks up there Richard Pryor's "That Nxgger's Crazy", "Live in Concert", and "Live on the Sunset Strip", and Eddie Murphy's"Delirious" and "Raw". Ali Siddiq waited patiently for his time in the spotlight the to deliver his magnum opus, a volume of comedy we can laugh with until the end of our days. The master storyteller for our generation. These aren't jokes, this is real life, no Hollywood. Ali got it out the mud, no wigs and dresses. Giving is that straight drop, raw and uncut. Love and Respect to a real one!
@@inmylifetime6080 Probably because you can't relate. Every jailhouse has a deck no first timer wants to land on. Going under the blanket ain't a joke, it's for real. It's funny as hell now, but it wasn't when the jury found me guilty. It's not just for laughs, though. The insanity of it all. The thinking of our young men is so distorted and dysfunctional that you have cats like Young Thug trying to live that life when they don't have to, while the real ones trying to find a way out. I'll say it again, out the mud. No bending over, no fuddy duddy. Straight grindin'!
@@BIGG1BE You don't have to. I did already, and standing on it. most of the guys with the big names ain't even funny to me, or they the wrong kind of funny, or both. Kevin Hart, Steve Harvey, DL Hughley, corny as a bag of Fritos. Ted Carpenter is the real deal, but stand up guys have a hard time in show biz. Ali, Katt, Corey Holcomb, real ones.
I'm a fellow Houstonian. Im amazed at your level of storytelling as a comedian. Its like Van Gogh with words. I love how you humanize people in prison through the window of your life and manage to fnd the humor in the tragedy. Keep doing what you're doing.
Ali Siddiq isn't Dave Chapelle level nothing (as flattering as people think it sounds)... Dave is an ORIGINAL and Ali Siddiq is an ORIGINAL!! The way this comedian brings us into the world of the incarcerated, as a black man in America, and all the characters are treated with honesty, compassion and grace is masterful storytelling.
Chappelle is talented, but Siddiq is talented and driven by a righteous cause to help people have empathy for people caught up in a rigged and unjust system. I have so much respect for this man.
Ali, PLEASE DONT EVER STOP! Your story makes me cry at how tragic the tale is. Laugh at the predicaments you put yourself in. And rejoice at the man you became! This has to get turned into a TV Series at some point. Someone please let Ali present this story independently on film. There are at least 10 seasons worth of gold that could get knocked out in the Domino Effect! Thanks!

Shit was hilarious cuz any street cat and one that is educated recognizes knowledge & wisdom passed down. That is why I never disrespected a woman or man on drugs by calling them anything disrespectful like a junkie or crackhead because I realized they had more education, skills & wisdom then any of the young niggas I was hustling with.
The pictures you paint, the way you turn your real life into not only comedic art but also a warning to those that may be on the same path that you were on, is 2nd to none.. you'll forever be an artist that i will speak highly of.. easily one of the best to ever do it.. thank you Ali

Ali is one of the GREAT story tellers in comedy. His specials are like well written movies. They have an overarching plot, recurring characters, antagonists, and tons of hilariousness. I swear he can perform an entire special on any random topic. I cant wait until the world/algorithm recognizes his greatness.

Hey Ali - I lost my father August 22 of last year. Then I watched part 2. You aren’t a comedian my brother you are a life coach, when Dave said “Katt was one of the best painters” in the game he knew not to say best. I haven’t gotten to see your act live yet but my mother and I have lived off all these stories of your struggle… the way you build these stories and keep us engaged, it’s truly soul cleansing. Thank you for posting this here. I happily paid my 20 to see this thing, good to revisit the material though, domino 4 is gna be wild af!. God continue to bless and keep this man in good health.
Sorry for your loss… Katt williams still reigns supreme over this dude. All this guys comedy is about jail, drugs, and ghetto activities while Katt talks about a variety of topics. Just my opinion…but I do think he’s funny just not on the level he thinks he’s on.
@@benjacksonn thank you for the class response. It’s been the hardest year of my life but it’s a process to go through, Ali just provides a medicinal laughter that doesn’t include attacking other people and his story telling, ESP his confession/outburst about his loss. Mr. Saddiq, in the past 6 years you have made yourself my personal favorite comedic story teller. First time I saw your work was on This Is Not Happening. The way you use your tone of voice, facial expressions and shift in mannerisms truly makes you not a stand up comedian but an artist on stage. I can't wait till the industry finally sees you for what you are and that's a generational TALENT. I can easily see this man act in dramatic roles going forward. You are an inspiration because you have used your life experiences not only to shape your content but to humanize life trauma. God Bless and may you be fruitful and multiply. That was a long, rough, arduous DAY but I’m glad I made the decision to still watch you live. For a moment in time I definitely forgot all my troubles🤗❤️ You’re incomparably Gifted
Let's be real, Ali is really at the Dave Chappelle caliber and beyond level of comedians. He should be getting even more attention than somebody like an Andrew Schultz, hell even Kevin Hart. I honestly think he's overlooked and underestimated because he's more genuine in his comedy than most. No political rhetoric, no bashing women, no downing or disrespect to anyone. Although he uses profanity, he's not foul-mouthed for no reason and overly vulgar and profane for the hell of it! Ali is really the truth compared to the rest. Congratulations Ali on another special going down in history! You're already a legend still living!
I Absolutely Agree! Ali is of the caliber of Richard Pryor, Paul Mooney, George Carlin, Redd Fox, Eddie Murphy, Bernie Mac! All these comedians tell stories
There aimt nothing wrong with punching down in comedy. Nothimf wrongmof it is FUNNY. THE MOST OFFENSIVE THING a comedian can do is waste ppls time and not be funny. (COUGH COUGH BURT KREISCHER) (COUGH COUGH JOE ROGAN)
Ali ain’t missed not one time. This special hit home a little more than the others because being under blanket is very relatable. But that under the blanket in my experience was probably the most “rest” I gotten in years. A whole lot goes on underneath that blanket. Thank you brother for explaining that to the ones who were fortunate not to go thru that.
The Background... The transition of the brightness to finally dark signals the beginning of his story into settling in to his 15 year sentence.. Ali ... That Was Powerful 🔥🔥🖤👑

I'm 32, I went to Harris County when I was 17 for a Class C misdemeanor - theft. Spent 3 days in there and saw everything I needed to see for me not to go back 😂 like you Ali I was shackled to strangers, hands and ankles, they had phones literally on the wall you had to put ya face to and a guy using the phone next to me I could smell the doo-doo on his breath (that's how close the phones was), had a white boy in there who caught a seizure and I watched this man hit his head on the sink and fall to the floor. A Mexican was being brought into the holding tank and was talking crazy the whole walk, while mid walk the 2 officers turned him around, went back out, 15 min. later they brought bro back bloody, bruised, and beaten badly. Hell I even got put in a line-up where they have someone point you out to see if they recognized you. Yeah I haven't seen a cell since then 💯

Every so often in history people alive get to experience the rise of greatness right before their eyes. Most of the time many don't even know that's what's happening until years later. You look back and realize I was alive when this person was rising to their peak I wish I would have appreciated it then. Eddie Murphy, Michael Jordan, Dave Chappelle, Tiger Woods Bernie Mac and others we lived through those times and didn't appreciate what we all watched was happening in that time. People we are living in such a time right now! Ali Saddiq will be one of those Comedians that you will get to say... I watched his greatness rise... I seen it!... Appreciate it now family.
I wouldn't go that far
@@inmylifetime6080 Probably because you can't relate. Every jailhouse has a deck no first timer wants to land on. Going under the blanket ain't a joke, it's for real. It's funny as hell now, but it wasn't when the jury found me guilty.
It's not just for laughs, though. The insanity of it all. The thinking of our young men is so distorted and dysfunctional that you have cats like Young Thug trying to live that life when they don't have to, while the real ones trying to find a way out.
I'll say it again, out the mud. No bending over, no fuddy duddy. Straight grindin'!
@@inmylifetime6080stop being a hater
I WONT GO THAT FAR!!! CADDYBLK..... BUT ALI IS ON HIS WAY..... KILLIN THE STAGE.........
I've never seen a comedian put together so many 1 hour excellent stand up comedy specials in a row. Ali is my favorite comedian.
“Out here disrespecting the world!” I’m using this line next time I talk to the teens at youth home.
That was so funny!
This man is a great speaker, good comedy, great story, strong stage. I’ve never heard of him, I’ll be looking for more!

My fav part this special that had me weak😂😂😂

I'm a fellow Houstonian. Im amazed at your level of storytelling as a comedian. Its like Van Gogh with words. I love how you humanize people in prison through the window of your life and manage to fnd the humor in the tragedy. Keep doing what you're doing.
Very nice analogy…indeed

Ali Siddiq isn't Dave Chapelle level nothing (as flattering as people think it sounds)... Dave is an ORIGINAL and Ali Siddiq is an ORIGINAL!! The way this comedian brings us into the world of the incarcerated, as a black man in America, and all the characters are treated with honesty, compassion and grace is masterful storytelling.
WORD! Facts! people need to understand
Well, he ain't lying
I been in prisons for years and this is all facts by the best storyteller ever.
Beautifully stated
Chappelle is talented, but Siddiq is talented and driven by a righteous cause to help people have empathy for people caught up in a rigged and unjust system. I have so much respect for this man.
Nobody commands a stage like Ali ✊🏾🔥
Ali,
PLEASE DONT EVER STOP!
Thanks!

I promise you 😂! I couldn’t stop rewinding that part 😂😂😂
The pictures you paint, the way you turn your real life into not only comedic art but also a warning to those that may be on the same path that you were on, is 2nd to none.. you'll forever be an artist that i will speak highly of.. easily one of the best to ever do it.. thank you Ali

This man is a master at his craft, I'm always amazed by his storytelling abilities.
@@Gir-Riff-raffe it actually makes the storytelling seem more personable; as we are sitting in the living kicking it with your favorite cousin. However, if I'm not mistaken I thought he sits a lot because of previous back injury/pain. I feel his pain, I take a folding camping chair everywhere.
@@GeorgiaWhisper no. He’s literally doing it to put his comedy on the same level as Cosby. Nobody did stand up sitting down after ‘Himself’ because the first thing they’d say is who do you think you are? Cosby?

Ali...I give you my word, I know I'm just a regular person to them, but I'm writing Netflix tomorrow morning!!!!!!!! The Domino Effect is what Netflix needs. I'm emailing and writing them beginning tomorrow morning and will do so more than just that one time... Your talent for making us laugh, needs to be viewed by others who haven't gotten the opportunity. I hope others see this post, and also do the same thing as well... You don't need Netflix, but they need you... It's been a long time since I watched a comedy special more than 3x a day and still laugh just as hard as the first one.
Real talk. We should start a petition.
Netflix gonna get tired of me....

You can still contribute by tipping him/ sending thanks through YT. It’s the “thanks “ button under the video.✨
Condolences for your loss mate, and hope you the rest of May is amazing to you bro
Ali you are a national treasure and you have reinvented and brought stand up back. ❤
I cannot wait for part 4.
They ain't got no concrete evidence, but they they got alot of sheetrock took me slap out.😂😂

That was a long, rough, arduous DAY but I’m glad I made the decision to still watch you live. For a moment in time I definitely forgot all my troubles🤗❤️ You’re incomparably Gifted
Need my boy to get that Netflix special !!!
I agree.
I Absolutely Agree! Ali is of the caliber of Richard Pryor, Paul Mooney, George Carlin, Redd Fox, Eddie Murphy, Bernie Mac! All these comedians tell stories
Not one lie told!!!! Dudes a beast and ain’t acting like a circus clown on stage to get laughs!!
