First time I watched this episode, I cried so hard, couldn't stop crying... even now when I see this scene, I tear up... Because I miss my brother since he passed away.
This scene reminds me of the house I grew up in. It’s one of those episodes you remember the first time watching, back in the early 2000s in my first bedroom.
Same I remember watching this in the living room and I think it was pretty late at night. The memory is really hazy but I just remember feeling emotional because of the song.
This was just incredible writing. Doesn’t hit as hard as the episode with his dog, that’s just one of the most heartbreaking things I’ve ever seen. But this was a legendary moment
Such a great ending to a great episode of a great show, honestly as someone with Siblings who i would do anything for this one gets me choked up for than Jurassic Bark
Futurama at its prime is the absolute show. The writing, the characters, the scenery. Like short yet memorable movies. Still the best show I've seen as a kid
Moments like this gave the show depth, and showed us that this colorful cast of future-age goobers and the world they lived in could truly come to form bonds, grow as people, and develop beyond petty squabbling.
the first time i watched this episode i was at my buddys house getting baked and when the twist happened we just stared at each other in disbelief i was holding back tears dude
I just now realized he probably carries a lot of guilt cause maybe if Fry still had that clover, he would have still been around with Yancy instead of just vanishing.

Agree
Yep.
Still touches my heart to this day.
Still makes me tear up but I love how this show knows how to make you sad and then laugh through it with great timing on jokes
I saw this scene as a literal child, and it's the only Futurama I've ever seen in my life. And I think about this at LEAST twice a week.
Well heck. Still makes me cry

Everyone says that Fry’s dog episode is the saddest, but I think this is at the same level. This scene always breaks my heart.
In his eyes you can see "I'm proud of you."
This is timeless.
