- HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!! I hope you're all feeling refreshed and ready for what 2022 has to bring, certainly going to be an exciting year on this channel.
To kick the year off I am posting a little something that Han and I filmed a few weeks ago with her four year pony. Her name is Affie for anyone who doesn't know and she is a New forest cross Arab pony. This day was her first time loose jumping, once she got the idea I think she showed a lot of potential.

Okay.. Affy is just adorable. who cares if she can jump, she can just stand there looking cute, The bucking at the end reminds me of Kate's Nero, just bucking for joy.

Definitely said as you pronounce it Meg. Tea is at the end is correct. Other ones pronounce it wrong.

Excited for this! Affie and Dora are two cute little grey peas in a pod. You should have them both out for XC schooling this spring! (Be brave, Han!!) For the record, everyone in the US says Aphrodit-E. I've never heard anyone leave the E off the end, including my Greek/Roman History professor. lol

@@addi_and_jake_eq_234Well yes, she can name the horse anything she wants. But if they are naming her after the goddess, the goddess’ name is pronounced Aphrodi-tee. It’s a logical assumption that she is named after the Goddess.

I see so much potential with Affie ❤ She's really psycho and spirited and energized and bucky, but she's also only 4 going on 5. Literally love how you guys aren't on top of her all the time trying to force her to behave, and letting her feel herself and be a horse and figure this out on her own, which she does incredibly well with your guidance! When I saw her go through the shoot with the ground poles, I was like "I'd put so many placing rails to make this girl slow down." And then you did exactly that, and were able to later remove the 1 behind the 1st jump. Commendable!! And I also love how Han handed her off to the boss lady. I would absolutely do the same, and it was incredibly cool to see how Affie changed once being sent down the shoot by someone who was calm and collected. I really hope that you take your time with her Han, and progress as quickly as you can, as slow as you need. You've got a great pony, and the stronger her foundation becomes the better you two will have it - bumps and giggles included.
Awww thank you! I can’t wait to see where she goes in life 🥺. Haha ‘boss’ lady is my yard owner. I wasn’t really scared I just wanted to see her jump and I couldn’t see if I was sending her down the shoot. However she is always a lot better behaved for Vicky, she’s just like a kid. Naughty for mum but golden for the babysitter 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️. Love her very much even with her sass x
@@Nohorsehan Ah, my mistake on you being scared. Apologies! And yes. Horses will always behave for the owner of their stable or trainer (unless you are Meg haha). Her sass makes her special! Terrifying, but special! Make sure Meg gives you more time and video space on her channel, you two are real stars.
