    Hobbit is so proud of you. I love to hear it in her voice when she's filming you ride. You are so fortunate to have such positive support and help around. Don't you realize you can do anything you dream of? THINK FOWARD MEG. KEEP THAT POSITIVE LEG ON!

    If I could like this video a zillion times I would. You rode so so so so so well. Purdy thought so too the way she went.
    With a NLP/Neuro linguistic hat on, please don’t big up badminton too much in your brain. Think confidence and preparation (which you are) rather than saying it’s big and I am worried. We all know it’s a massive achievement and a whopping big course , and the pressure of the title sponsor , and we are all gunning and excited for you. Self talk is so powerful and you are a fab rider - believe! Lucinda wouldn’t let just anyone ride her horses - meg you rock

    • @suzannechance5876
      @suzannechance5876 2 роки тому +6

      You are spot on with the self talk issue and fear focus. Would love to hear how she would sound with a bit of neural rephrasing, we already know she can ride beautifully and skillfully!

    Loved how Lucinda was ALWAYS telling you, "LOOK UP!!" You have to see where you're going and also be preparing for the next fence as well. Great lesson to watch!! So chuffed and proud of you Meg!! 💖 💖 Can't wait to see the ones with DeeDee and Jam. I'm sure Lucinda will be saying "COUNT!!" and "LOOK UP!!" a fair amount of times. You're a very good rider Meg. Trust yourself!! Love from Ontario, Canada, Jenn. 💖 💖 🇨🇦 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

    Perdy is the type of horse that gives the ability to people to ride those big fences and not be scared. Meggy, get yourself one of these horses and you can jump the moon and no longer be scared to go over 1m competitively! You have more than enough riding skill, you are amazing!

    Watching this made me feel so much better. I have lost a lot of confidence lately showjumping because I ride a somewhat green OTTB 5 year old mare(funnily enough named Ellie) and she is speedy and has recently started bucking. I don't feel confident in myself at all and so it was so nice to watch this and be reassured that I am not the only one who feels not very confident showjumping sometimes and who is too hard on themselves. Loved watching this!
    Edit: omg I got pinned! I’m your first ever customer by the way! Bears front shoe is hanging in my room!

  • @brookehenwood2263
    @brookehenwood2263 2 роки тому +1

    Megan! You are an amazing rider! We all have doubts sometimes but your gonna be fine! For a period of time my pony was being very naughty and would pray the jumps would stay small. But then I started riding more and starting from the beginning on the flat! That really helped! And now I beg for the jumps to go up! A great way to think about it is to think you are invincible and nothing can hurt you! If you have such a great chance like this one just say well who knows when or if I’ll have another one so let’s make the best of it and jump the biggest I’ve ever done!

    Well done Meg, always daunting to jump an unfamiliar horse. Loved Lucindas advice to concentrate on the canter and not so much on the jump.
