#1 cause has changed to Low Acro not too long ago :( Drowning is still a big cause though. For myself if I blow 3 launches then I pack up and go home..just wasnt my day.
One of the channels I watch from time to time is Mentour Pilot, and one of the things that causes accidents, according to him, is getting your mind so set on a certain outcome that you can't adapt to changing conditions. Anyway, good thoughts, Pastor Chris
There is a lot that has to happen, especially in general aviation, and when you fixate on one thing it causes you to miss all of the other things you should be doing. Very easy to do when flying airplanes. Paramotors, while there are still things to do, are far less complicated than Airplane which is one of the things that makes flying them so fun. Nevertheless having a clear mind weather in an airplane or a paramotor is vital to a safe flight. Thank you so much for the comment:)
You bet! That sounds like a pretty logical thought, but the problem is that when pilots accidently land on water they can't get out of their harness or get tangled in the lines of the wing and can't get out. Thanks for the view and the comment:)
My gas tank has a one way blow tube valve, and it’s air tight when you blow in it. But when you tip the motor over on its back, the gas leaks out through it. It’s really odd.

Haven’t heard that statistic yet, but with more and more people pushing the limits I can see how that would be true:) Fly safe:)
I never fly or use my table saw if I'm tired or pissed off. If I'm both, I figure it's time to go take a nap and call it a day.
You bet. Frustration is my big one. If I get to upset, I'm done!
Good plan!!
Yup. Good stuff! Pilot physiology and psychology are items on my preflight checklist. Generally grouped for me: Conditions, Equipment, Pilot.
Love it!
So true
Great advice.
Glad it was helpful!

I would have thought #1cause of death would be power lines. But I can understand water for sure. Stay safe!

Our mental state is a big deal!! Great thoughts!
Better to fly with a mind that is not angry for sure:)
This is awesome advice
Attitude is just as important to check as the rest of your gear:)
Great vid
Thanks.

Attitude check
This was a pretty hard day to say no because I hadn’t flown in so long, but I am glad I did:)
