    All paramotor instructors should watch this video. The analogies used are creative and easy for a new pilot to understand. Brilliant!

    Gotta give Reese props for allowing us to learn (and laugh) perhaps at his expense . Thanks again Micah; I like your detailed explanations with analogies and humor.

    Wow! Thank you so much! A ton of useful informations and so reassuring to have such a resource at hand for a pilot to be!
    I'm currently training with a flying school in the province of Quebec, Camada (Les Caribous Volants), about to do my first solo, this recent post is a Godsent! I'm sure I will be much more relaxed on the big day, having this wealth of infos (hopefully!) integrated through my muscle memory.
    Very good teaching and a lot of crucial cue points that are simple enough to keep in our head while launching. Very important, 'cause we all know that there's not much space left in that brain the second we commit to take-off!
    Thanks again, keep up the good work!

    I've watched more ppg videos and can't stop wondering if starting directly with ppg and not pg is a comon practice? I thought you have to be in the pg for a while before you get in the powered flight. These students makes you think is guite hard to bring the wing above and run straight with it and I don't know if it's because they don't know much about it or they fly pg for years but ppg is that hard.

    • @Logan4661
      @Logan4661 Рік тому +2

      To answer your first question, no you don't need to fly PG before PPG. Most of the decision about which you fly has to do with the terrain where you live. To your second question, these students probably have about a week or so of experience with kiting before their first flight. As far as making it look difficult, just realize that they are just starting to learn several complex skills all at once and none of them are like anything else that you experience in daily life. It's also important to realize that PG isn't easier to fly or to learn than PPG, it just has a different set of complexities.

    I'm not feeling the presenter in this vid, I don't feel his confidence, his baby face doesn't help, and the tone of his voice is too fem, I bet if AJ did this vid your enrollment #'s would double, just saying, I"m sure he is a nice guy! just not camera ready, he has not convinced me, so I must respectfully decline. (It's just feedback, this is not to be taken personally)
