As a muslim I find Islam more similar to judaism in some points :
-they both insist on the learning the holy books (Torah and Coran) but they have also religious laws that rule all the aspect of life (halakha with Talmud and Sunna with hadith)
-examples : don't eat pork, women cover their head (not in the same way though), men have to grow beard, men and women must separate in some points and not shake hand each other, halal and Kashruth, Jews and Muslims perform ablutions, both think the soul leaves the body during sleeping, both are strict toward polytheism etc

You posed the question in a way that gave them an existential problem. By asking which of the the two other religions Islam resembles, you are asking them to implicitly acknowledge that Islam is DERIVED from the other two religions. The question should have been: "which of the other two religions is more like Islam". In the interview, the first man to answer, and the translator missed this, mumbled: هم بيشبهوه, meaning that they (Christianity and Judaism) are the ones that resemble Islam. This is the same cognitive dissonance you got one time when you asked "what were you or your ancestors before you/they became Muslim", and they couldn't acknowledge that their ancestors at some point were not Muslim, but were Jews, Christians, or idol worshippers.

first of all the translation should be worked on, specially that there are words added that aren't mentioned or meant by the context.
the on ground translator isn't understanding well or translating well.
2nd of all it's weird to say Islam is closer just because they forbid pork..
The main problem between Christianity and Islam is the theological belief of Trinity vs Tawahid, then it follows the recognition of The prophet and his revelation. then finally those matters come back to the interprations of both faiths as every school of thought has different forbidden and allowed matters and if Muslims know Christians also have same things forbidden under Mosaic law but according to the majority of Christians those laws are no longer needed as Jesus was crucified for the People's sins.
Muslims and Christians has more in common with the spiritual sides like (Tasawof for muslims) and (Monasticism for christians)
    - the believe that Sin is inevitable to humankind (muslims exempt the prophets from that)
    - Muslims believe that Jesus was born Miraculously from a Virgin birth
    - Muslims believe Jesus is the Massaih that will come at the end of days
    - Both have missionary in terms like Evangelism and Da'wah
    - Both believe in Universalism
    - Both Islam and Christianity spread rapidly and far from their places
I didn't mention other core similarties that's also shared between Christians, Muslims and Jews like Scriptures, Eschatology, Ritual prayer, Social Justice, Pilgrimage, etc.
However the main similarities that makes Muslims and Jews look more similar are:
    - the Monotheistic God (no trinity concept),
    - the rejection of Jesus being God
    - the similar practices and rules.
It's very complicated topic, since Muslims also prefer the Christian universal look of things as both muslims and christians has rules like usury ban that is universal from and to all, however jews on the other hand has it forbidden but not from jews to none jews.
those kind of details with other major one like the Rabias in the Talmud challenging and winning on God is also consider a big deviance from the monotheistic perspective of God to Muslims and Christians.

Islam is actually less similar to Judaism than Christianity is to Judaism. But it depends on which version of Judaism one means. In Jesus' time, there were the Pharisees, Sadducees, Zealots and Essenes. But even if a comparison is made to the common themes in those Judaisms, Islam doesn't have a priesthood, no Liturgy, no atoning sacrificial system, the temple layout is different from the mosque, divine imminence (God dwelling in the midst of His people as Yahweh was in the Ark of the Covenant). Islam is actually a mix of Arianism (heretical sect in Christianity), paganism and Judaism. All these elements were present in Arabia 1400 years ago and the result was Islam. St. John of Damascus documents how Muhammad was in contact with an Arian monk who probably had an impact on him. But Muhammad's knowledge of the Torah and Christian writings was limited and was at times relayed to him by word of mouth of the common people who lived among him. For example, there is a Surah in which Muhammad is called to judge a dispute of adultery between some Jews. He asks for the Torah and places it where he was sitting and says to judge according to it. That same Torah forbids the eating of camel of which the Hadiths confirm Muhammad ate.

    For jews
Jews circumcise, don't eat pork, slaughter Kosher, have fixed prayer times, wear modest clothes, grow their beards, believe in One God, do passover to commemorate God leading his the followers of Moses out of Egypt. Follow laws etc.
    For Christians
They believe in an hell and Paradise, believe Jesus عليه السلام is the Messiah. Believe in his second coming, believe there will be an antichrist.

Superficially islam is similar to Judaism but the core of the difference is the fact that HaShem, yud-heh-vav-heh, is the name of our Creator while in islam they have a nameless god.
One reason why G-d gave us His name is so that when the people of Israel would encounter the false gods of the nations, be it jezeus/yeshu or allah, they would immediately recognize that it is NOT the same deity as the G-d of Israel.
Islam is a counterfeit religion that seems to mimic Judaism but is actually complete idolatry. Like a pig with split hooves, only by opening it up will a person realize that it is indeed not kosher.
In islam, a reader of the quran is immediately given false information compared to what is in Tanakh. Muslims worships a nameless false god allah that has false prophets jezeus/yeshu/isa and mohammed who speak on his behalf. They have their Kaaba in Mecca, not the Beit HaMikdash in Yerushalayim. Yerushalayim is not mentioned once in the quran while Yerushalayim is where HaShem put HIs Holy name to live forever. Muslims face Mecca when praying and point their asses towards the holiest of holies on Temple Mount. Muslims believe that jezeus/yeshu/isa will return to kill a fictional dajjal and rule as Moshiach for 40 years while in Judaism Moshiach ben David is not a re-incarnation or return of a false prophet, and rules forever. The quran, like all islamic sacred texts, are all fiction.
It is an error to think that islam's god and HaShem are the same. The muslims shout "allahu akhbar!" when they kill Jews.

Islam & Judaism have many similarities, & it's not just the connection to Abraham. Mohammed had a Jewish friend who taught him about Judaism. This is why Muslims have similar dietary laws like hallal, circumcision & they also have their sabbath on Friday. They also celebrate Ashura which commemorates the Jew's exodus from Egypt. Theologically they are also similar - there's only God, no human representatives, & no pictures in houses of worship unlike the Christians which have pictures & statutes of Jesus everywhere which is kind of like idol worship. Muslims pray 5 times a day, Jews 3, in Christianity there's no requirement for daily prayer. Even though Jesus was a practicing Jew, John removed all Jewish rituals & traditions to appeal to pagans.

This video is a perfect example of how a person's environment plays a major role in the answer they provide.
I feel confident saying that everyone you just asked never read the Bible cover to cover. I would say Islam is closer to Judaism in more important aspects of the religion based upon the Islamic teachings, and that would be Tawheed or the first commandment in the forefront. Christians have a trinity, which is a teaching foreign to Judaism and Islam.
If one were to make a list of similarities and differences between the three, it wouldn't be as black and white, due to them all overlapping one another in different regards. Also, each religion has its unique practice/belief in some aspects, for example, in Islam, there's the belief that God sent prophets throughout the globe since day one, while Christians and Jews don't have such a teaching in the Bible. We also have examples where Muslims and Christians match through their belief in Jesus' ministry.
One of the biggest similarities between all three is that we share common values and the belief in an intelligent source to all existence. This is a big reason why we should work together against those who are trying to change our values and highlight our differences so that we are distracted by fighting one another, while they come from behind and poison our children.

What separates Christianity from both of them is its not really rooted in any particular ethnicity, culture, language etc...which probably makes Christianity more malleable to local cultures that were not Abrahamic in origin.

    (Borrowed from a friend)
A little more history for those wanting to 'restore Palestine'.
In 132 AD the Emperor Hadrian resolved to stamp the Jews and their religion out of existence. He sold all Jewish prisoners into slavery after the revolt of Bar Kikhba, forbade the teaching of the Torah, renamed the province Syria Palaestina, and changed Jerusalem’s name to Aelia Capitolina. He renamed Israel to wipe out the national identity of Israel and the Jews.
So if you are looking to 'restore Palestine to the Palestinians', you need to give it back to the Jews.

Yes, because Judaism is obsessed with the worldly pleasures. They learn to be greedy from a young age. I've seen how the children eat food. Jews also created Usury, which is putting interest on the poor to become richer. Now, every bank follows this system. Pretty much they will do anything to get rich, even if it means changing the words of God. You believe Jacob wrestled with God, It was most likely an angel. But because of this, you think it's ok to argue with God and not obey him. Jews only care about their fellow jews. And your wrong Islam has equal importance for both this world and the hereafter.

    Answer: more similar to Satanism.
Take a look at the names given to Allah:
Al-Mutakabbir (الْمُتَكَبِّر): This word means "The Arrogant" or "The Very Proud". It is often used to describe someone who is proud or arrogant to the point of defying God.
Ad-Darr (الضَّارّ) : It means "The Causer of Damage" or "The Nuisher". It can be used to describe someone who intentionally causes harm or injury to others.
Al-Muzil (المُذِلّ): This word means "The Lowerer" or "He Who Humbles". It is often used to describe God as the One who lowers or humiliates those He wishes.
Al-Makir (المَكِّر): It means "The Great Strategist" or "The Great Planner". It is used to describe God as the Supreme Planner who can have mysterious and unfathomable purposes.
Al-Fattan (الفَتّان): This word means "The Seducer" or "The Corrupter". It can be used to describe someone who tries to seduce or corrupt others.

Ironically the comment section on Corey's video's often speak readily of the similarities of Islam and Judaism. I am not referring to non religious Jews of course, but practicing ones. The laws of both Islam and Judaism both have circumcision, the head covering, the modesty in clothing, not only not eating pork for both, but special dietary law (halal & kashrut), they both have forms of religious cleansing (I won't elaborate there) but Christianity expects none of these of their practitioners. Muslims and Jews both pray several times a day Muslims five, Jews 3. Do Christians pray several times a day? Yes they can if they want to, but Christianity does not mandate how many times, they pray as often as they want!

O People of the Scripture, there has come to you Our Messenger making clear to you much of what you used to conceal of the Scripture and overlooking much. There has come to you from Allah a light and a clear Book.
By which Allah guides those who pursue His pleasure to the ways of peace and brings them out from darknesses into the light, by His permission, and guides them to a straight path.
They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary. Say, "Then who could prevent Allah at all if He had intended to destroy the Messiah, the son of Mary, or his mother or everyone on the earth?" And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. He creates what He wills, and Allah is over all things competent.
But the Jews and the Christians say, "We are the children of Allah and His beloved." Say, "Then why does He punish you for your sins?" Rather, you are human beings from among those He has created. He forgives whom He wills, and He punishes whom He wills. And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, and to Him is the [final] destination.
O People of the Scripture, there has come to you Our Messenger to make clear to you [the religion] after a period [of suspension] of messengers, lest you say, "There came not to us any bringer of good tidings or a warner." But there has come to you a bringer of good tidings and a warner. And Allah is over all things competent.

We make no distinction between any of them, and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him.
      (Al-Quran 2: 135- 136)
Say, "O People of the Scripture, come to a word that is equitable between us and you - that we will not worship except Allah and not associate anything with Him and not take one another as arbaban (lords) instead of Allah ." But if they turn away, then say, "Bear witness that we are Muslims [submitting to Him]."
