Do we have to note why Jews among Arabs started to be persecuted only once Israel was being created? Way before that, talking centuries here since the fall of Andalusia, Muslims protected the Jews from Christian empires and hosted them in North Africa. they had lived there in peace and harmony. Now the big question is, What happened!?
The creation of the state of Israel broke that stability in the Middle East and North Africa, having Israelis kicking out Palestinians; in return, Arabs kicking out Jews. As simple as that!
Ps: some Jews decided by themselves to move to Israel even though they had very good living condition in their native Arab and Muslim countries.

@@friendlycreature6375 not really kicking them out. The muslims and arabs saw how supportive of Israel the jews that lived on their country were, and how they started to migrate to Israel, only then they started to hate them. Also, i should say that they hate the ones who choose to go and live in Israel, a state that is literally colonizing another one that was arab and muslims so of course they would start seeing them differently, but those who stayed in their countries had no problem with the arabs. I'm Moroccan and my father since his early childhood had this one good friend, his name was Mimoun if i remember correctly and they were best friends, they would always hangout and play together, go have lunch at each others house etc, his family was never discriminated against and they lived in a nice and peaceful neighborhood, then one day he tells my dad that they were traveling. They went to Israel, the whole family and he couldn't even tell my dad (they were both 11-12 years old back then). My dad couldn't understand why they would go live in Israel since they were Moroccan and didn't live under oppression or hate or whatever. I myself have two Jewish friends that i sherish a lot and they're also supportive of the Palestinian cause and speak out about the crimes of the Israeli government, i love them obviously since we're friends, i have a huge problem with anyone who supports apartheid, killing children, stealing land and occupying it while throwing the natives out of their own houses, i don't have a problem with jews as per say.

      Edit
For total or partial opposition to Judaism as a religion and Jews as a religious group, see Anti-Judaism and Religious antisemitism.
Antisemitism (also spelled anti-semitism or anti-Semitism) is hostility to, prejudice, or discrimination against Jews.[1][2][3] A person who holds such positions is called an antisemite. Antisemitism is generally considered to be a form of racism.[4][5]
Antisemitism may be manifested in many ways, ranging from expressions of hatred of or discrimination against individual Jews to organized pogroms by mobs or police forces, or even military attacks on entire Jewish communities. Although the term did not come into common usage until the 19th century, it is also applied to previous and later anti-Jewish incidents. Notable instances of persecution include the Rhineland massacres preceding the First Crusade in 1096, the Edict of Expulsion from England in 1290, the 1348-1351 persecution of Jews during the Black Death, the massacres of Spanish Jews in 1391, the persecutions of the Spanish Inquisition, the expulsion from Spain in 1492, the Cossack massacres in Ukraine from 1648 to 1657, various anti-Jewish pogroms in the Russian Empire between 1821 and 1906, the 1894-1906 Dreyfus affair in France, the Holocaust in German-occupied Europe during World War II, Soviet anti-Jewish policies, and Arab and Muslim involvement in the Jewish exodus from Arab and Muslim countries.
The root word Semite gives the false impression that antisemitism is directed against all Semitic people, e.g., including Arabs, Assyrians and Arameans. The compound word Antisemitismus ('antisemitism') was first used in print in Germany in 1879[6] as a scientific-sounding term for Judenhass ('Jew-hatred'),[7][8][9][10][11][12] and this has been its common use since then.

      @Blak GOLD Ham).
The term Semitic in a racial sense was coined by members of the Göttingen School of History in the early 1770s. Other members of the Göttingen School of History coined the separate term Caucasian in the 1780s. These terms were used and developed by numerous other scholars over the next century. In the early 20th century, the racialist classifications of Carleton S. Coon included the Semitic peoples in the Caucasian race, as similar in appearance to the Indo-European, Northwest Caucasian, and Kartvelian-speaking peoples.[10] Due to the interweaving of language studies and cultural studies, the term also came to be applied to the religions (ancient Semitic and Abrahamic) and ethnicities of various cultures associated by geographic and linguistic distribution.[11]
      Antisemitism
      Main article: Antisemitism
1879 statute of the Antisemitic League, the organization which first popularized the term
The terms "anti-Semite" or "antisemitism" came by a circuitous route to refer more narrowly to anyone who was hostile or discriminatory towards Jews in particular.[12]
Anthropologists of the 19th century such as Ernest Renan readily aligned linguistic groupings with ethnicity and culture, appealing to anecdote, science and folklore in their efforts to define racial character. Moritz Steinschneider, in his periodical of Jewish letters Hamaskir (3 (Berlin 1860), 16), discusses an article by Heymann Steinthal[13] criticising Renan's article "New Considerations on the General Character of the Semitic Peoples, In Particular Their Tendency to Monotheism".[14] Renan had acknowledged the importance of the ancient civilisations of Mesopotamia, Israel etc. but called the Semitic races inferior to the Aryan for their monotheism, which he held to arise from their supposed lustful, violent, unscrupulous and selfish racial instincts. Steinthal summed up these predispositions as "Semitism", and so Steinschneider characterised Renan's ideas as "anti-Semitic prejudice".[15]
In 1879 the German journalist Wilhelm Marr began the politicisation of the term by speaking of a struggle between Jews and Germans in a pamphlet called Der Weg zum Siege des Germanenthums über das Judenthum ("The Way to Victory of Germanism over Judaism"). He accused the Jews of being liberals, a people without roots who had Judaized Germans beyond salvation. In 1879 Marr's adherents founded the "League for Anti-Semitism",[16] which concerned itself entirely with anti-Jewish political action.
Objections to the usage of the term, such as the obsolete nature of the term "Semitic" as a racial term and the exclusion of discrimination against non-Jewish Semitic peoples, have been raised since at least the 1930s

Also another woman got lucky after her husband had an accident and the husband family forgave her....surely you know what would happen if the family didn't forgive the woman.

So what are you trying to say? The British Mandate of Palestine was created by the British. The Arab "Palestinians" come from all over the Arabic-speaking world, as before the arrival of the British there no borders to stop Arabs from other parts of the Middle East or North Africa from settling there. The indigenous Jewish population that remained in the Middle East was largely outside the borders of the British Mandate of Palestine and they simply returned. What is so hard to understand about that?

    • @bulentkulkuloglu
      @bulentkulkuloglu 3 роки тому +2

@@commentator4771 there were no borders to stop jews from settling in the area and almost non did.
Most Jewish population of the world lived under ottoman rule 500 years ago. And even those who did were given open arms if they wanted to migrate to ottoman territory. In 1492, it was the Ottomans who invited the Sepharads, when last portions of muslim Spain was lost. They were asked where they wanted to settle, and they preferred Tselloniki, İstanbul and a few other major cities.
Jews had the same rights to move freely within Ottoman territory as Arabs. Except for small exceptions non did go to Palestine.
Plus that area has had human population all through human history, on a continuous basis for 130 thousand years. Before, during and after jews living there or having kingdoms. Palestinians have indigenous heritage of all kinds of people who lived there in last 130 thousand years including Hebrew heritage. Hebrews were not the only people living there at the time of Romans, and the Hebrews who followed Jesus were not driven out by the Romans. Thus, even if some Arabs came and settled there in last couple of hundred years, this doesn't change the facts that some form of life and Native population continued there.
And even if all the Palestinians were Arabs who came there in 1st of November 1917 (the day before the UK took over Jerusalem from Ottomans), they still have more legal right to that land then settlers that came after British rule.
According to international law, the British had no authority to bring in any Jewish settlers to a mandate given to them by the league of nations. That mandate was only for the temporary help for the Palestinian land to become an independent state from Ottoman rule and nothing else.

Jews settled there, many years ago, and their descendants are the Ashkenazi. Same for all the other Jewish populations throughout the world. it's somewhat misleading. It's true that OVERALL/GENERALLY Jews in Muslim lands were better off than in Europe, but it depends when and where. If you compare it with medieval Europe with its ghettos, forced conversions, inquisition and severe discrimination, then yes. Generally. If you compare it with modern Europe (except Nazi Germany) since the time of emancipation and enlightenment, then no. Islamic world also had its share of antisemitic pogroms, forced conversions and rights restrictions. Take for example Almohad caliphate in Morocco and North Africa, which was extremely anti-Jewish. It's wrong to paint the life of Jews in Islamic world as some kind of paradise. At best, Jews were always dhimmi (second class citizens, barely tolerated), at worst they were persecuted just like they were in Europe, or almost like that.

After WWII, they decided to just.. give Palestine to the Jews and labelled Palestine as the homeland for Jews. Now keep in mind that the Jews were given many options of unoccupied land--but they insisted on occupying Palestine, regardless of the civilians living there. @@user-qv6bi2ho6s Times havent changed. The conflict in historic Palestine didnt stem from a hatred for the J*wish people like it did in Germany, it stems from a European colonial power (Britian) seizing their land and giving it away to someone else without consultation or consideration from the Arab population who were already living there. You just completely disregarded the historical wrong that has been inflicted on the Palestinian people and framed it as "I feel unsafe for no reason", not that this is a justification for you feeling unsafe but the reason is much deeper than how you are framing it. This historical wrong is still ongoing today. Just look at what J*wish extremists are doing to Palestinian villagers in the West Bank today under the protection of the government and multiply this behaviour for the past 76 years. There has been a lot of injustice done to the Palestinian people for decades and for some reason this part is always disregarded often times intentionally to paint a false narrative. The context is much deeper than that.

@@The_Last_Rick I've learnt a lot thanks to you :) Again, Zionists used their twisted victimizing methods.
Abu Al-Ghar believes that the establishment of the State of Israel was a major reason for the emigration of Jews from Egypt, and pointed out that Israel, after 1948 and until 1956, exerted great pressure on Egyptian Jews to emigrate from their homeland through the enormous power of international Zionism, and by inciting strife and hatred against them from The Egyptian people, with events such as the Lavon scandal in which he incited.
By inciting strife and hatred against them from The Egyptian people, with events such as the Lavon scandal, in which Mossad incited some Egyptian Jews to carry out bombings and terrorist operations on civilian targets in Egypt, followed by the attack on Gaza, and in the end the 1956 aggression.
There is no doubt that all of this created an unfriendly atmosphere towards Egyptian Jews, which facilitated their decision to emigrate. Abu Al-Ghar adds that Israel’s participation in the military aggression against Egypt in 1956 was a devastating psychological blow to Egyptian Jews. They felt that this aggression had broken their ties with the homeland, so they decided to emigrate.
He confirms that the vast majority of Jews were not expelled and their property was not confiscated during the Great Exodus in 1956, while the money of the English and French, who included some Jews, was confiscated, in addition to small numbers of active Zionists, and a very small number of Jews who had Zionist activity were the ones who were arrested. Or orders were issued for their departure, and they were actually deported out of Egypt. As for the rest - according to Abu Al-Ghar - they left of their own accord, after selling most of their property in Egypt. After meeting a number of Jews who left Egypt during that period, Abu Al-Ghar concluded that “fear is the main reason for emigration, despite the fact that the Jews were not exposed to any harm or pressure.”
Abu Al-Ghar goes beyond all the main reasons that led to the migration of Jews, in addressing this issue. He believes that even if there had been no State of Israel, nor global Zionism, nor the Arab-Israeli conflict, nothing would have changed in the fate of the Egyptian Jews. He says “In my opinion, what happened was something that had to happen.” Most Egyptian Jews came to Egypt in pursuit of a livelihood and a higher standard of living, which Egypt gave generously. But after World War II and the implementation of the Marshall Plan in Europe, it was clear that the economic and political situation "It will be better in Europe than the situation in Egypt”. The fear and panic of Europe had passed with the end of Nazism and fascism, so most of the Jews decided that it was in their interest to immigrate to Europe and they immigrated there."
The author of “Lusting Arabs” stated that the number of Egyptian Jews in the 1940s reached sixty-five thousand people, less than half of whom held Egyptian citizenship, and many of whom came to Egypt from Turkey, Syria, and Iraq in the late period of Ottoman rule, and from throughout the Russian Empire during the tsarist rule in the early Twentieth century. He pointed out that the rich Jews who held European nationalities (British, French, Italian, and Russian), some of them had joined the Zionist movement before 1948, immigrated to Palestine, and fought in the Israeli army, and among them - as he mentioned - was the Egyptian Jew Nadav Safran, who became famous. Later, as a professor at Harvard University, and relatives of the mother of Egyptian director Nadia Kamel, director of the film “My Salad,” who tell her in her documentary of their early affiliation with Zionist gangs and their immigration to Palestine in 1946.
In his historical narration of the stages of Jewish emigration from Egypt, Joseph explained that there were overlapping factors and influential historical events in the context of the Egyptian and Arab political scene, which led to Egyptian Jews and others of other nationalities resorting to choosing emigration as a final and irreplaceable solution. He said in his interview: “After the 1948 war, Egyptian Jews immigrated outside the country for fear of the consequences of the war.
After the terrorist operations of Israeli spies in Egypt in 1954, what was known as the “Lavon Scandal,” in which Israel recruited Egyptian Jews to carry out the bombings, and in a difficult atmosphere during the trials of terrorists, Egyptian Jews were subjected to numerous harassments, despite the clear efforts made by the state at the time, especially in Abdel Nasser’s speeches, to distinguish between Jews and Zionists and not reduce them to each other as the Zionist movement does.
The rich Jews chose France as their homeland, and the middle-class Jews immigrated to the United States and Latin America, while the poor among them immigrated to Israel, most of whom were pure Egyptian Jews, and after the accumulation of Israeli attacks on Egypt, represented by the Israeli raid on the Egyptian base in Gaza in 1955, Then the tripartite aggression against Egypt in 1956, in which Israel participated alongside England and France, most of the remaining Jews emigrated, especially after the harassment they were subjected to as a result of popular anger. This is in addition to the security restrictions on the part of the Egyptian state, which was represented by stamping the passports of those departing with a “no return” stamp. Joseph pointed out that this stamp “was also used by the authorities against Egyptian Muslims and communist Christians, for example, and in fact, these stamps and procedures often took a long time.” Mostly Egyptian Muslims and Christians are opponents.”
After this historical presentation, Joseph concludes that the issue of expelling the Jews from Egypt is nothing more than a Zionist heresy promoted by a group of liberal Egyptians, who love and sympathize with the Jews of Egypt, most of whom immigrated more than sixty years ago. He notes in his dialogue that, in response At the request of the Palestine Liberation Organization in the mid-1970s, the Sadat regime (as well as other Arab regimes) called on Egyptian Jews to return to Egypt, but they did not heed the invitation.
      A new and rejected cosmopolitanism:
Returning to “cosmopolitanism,” Dr. Joseph draws the attention of Egyptian intellectuals to the fact that Egypt is now cosmopolitan par excellence, as Syrian, Iraqi, Sudanese, Palestinian, Yemeni, and communities from non-Arab African countries live there, but these communities - in his words - “do not Fans of cosmopolitanism in Egypt consider her a source of cultural enrichment, because she is not of white European origins.” He ends the answer to the difficult question about the Egyptian liberals’ nostalgia for the Jews, with a question he directs to these intellectuals: “Why have we not yet seen novels that sympathize with the Palestinians of Egypt, nor films that liberals celebrate?!”

@@musessadi1032 How I say thank you? I'm not a Jew, dude.
And are you really using one event to justify the entire Islamic history? How does that make any sense?
Islam was anti-semitic from the start, just read the hadiths. Like this one:
"The Day of Judgement will not come about until Muslims fight the Jews, when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Muslims, O Abdullah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him. Only the Gharkad tree, (the Boxthorn tree) would not do that because it is one of the trees of the Jews. (related by al-Bukhari and Muslim)." Sahih Muslim, 41:6985
There are plenty of events of discrimination and persecution of Jews throughout Islamic history. Like the genocide of Baghdad in 1828, the massacre in Barfurush in 1867, og Meshed in 1839, of Damascus in 1840, or Yemen in 1679.
You trying to deny the existence of all the atrocities because some Jews in Spain fled to Morocco... that's just _proves my entire point!!!!!_
Just because Christianity is worse, doesn't make Islam good.
It's like claiming tuberculosis isn't bad because malaria kills more people. Both are pretty bad and kill a lot of people, just because Malaria kills more doesn't make tb a good thing.
And both Christianity and Islam are pretty bad when it comes to discrimination of Jews throughout history. Just because Christianity has been worse, doesn't make Islam good.
Just how Judaism isn't a good thing either. Jews have never really been in charge of much land the last 2000 years so they had no ability to persecute in a way similar to Islam and Christianity, but now that they finally have some land they prove themselves to have just as a hateful and wicked a religion as Christians and Muslims.

In Iraq, in Morocco, in Egypt, in Syria, in Lebanon, in Yemen, Jews were present in all major cities before 1948 and were part of the social fabric, living in peace with their neighbors, until the start of the Zionist project and what Zionism did to the people of Palestine, then this relationship was destroyed.. .. In Iraq, for example, the Jews lived for more than two thousand years, in peace, and their condition was like the rest of the people... We Arabs only hate those who are hostile to us and oppress us.

@@ROMANABSOLUT The main reason is that Jews were a distinct community for most of history and didn't assimilate into the hegemonic culture.
This created all kinds of tensions between them and general society.
Most of the other reasons are historical:
1.Jews and Greeks were both merchants during Roman time, Jews were the Greek merchant competitors, so the Greek, who were also the biggest scholars trash talked them in their scrolls.
2.Jews didn't worship Roman gods and didn't worship Caesar as god, this made the Romans pissed about the Jews, they tried to force them to be more Roman, Jews rebelled, resulted in expulsion from Judea across the Roman Empire
3.Jews didn't like Christians, seeing them as Jewish heretics, and were mean to them during early days of Christianity, Christians then became super popular, and the grudge against the Jews became part of the religion.
4.Christian countries closed the doors for Jews to many jobs, they usually didn't have land, could only settle certain place, were not accepted to guilds, and were outcompeted in commerce, so they found a niche in money lending, which was a hated profession, because Christians were forbidden religiously from lending with interest.
5.After the french revolution, with secularism in Europe minorities were given rights.
Jews could now work in many professions they were blocked from, could live outside of the ghetto, they could go to university, and with the Industrial revolution there were many new Jobs that never existed before. While many of the population had a traditional job that passed from generation to generation, Jews were more likely to jump on new professions and industries. This was scary to the general population - suddenly Jews are everywhere, mixing with society, and taking over industries, with technology that puts some older profession at risk. Suddenly a traditional village cheese maker is not making a living selling hand crafted cheese, so he goes to the city to work in a stinky cheese factory with a Jewish boss, this could be very annoying.
I think up to point 4 Jews were having it kinda OK. everybody's life was shit during the middle ages, Peasants had their shit, Jews had their own shit, both were getting slaughtered from time to time, and there was no big pressure to change it because there was no alternative. Religions hated each other, sadly unlike the more tolerant Muslim world, but I think xenophobia was common during the middle ages.
In point 5 you see the power dynamics started to shift very quickly and very drastically, and this is were the big Antisemitic propaganda started to appear, looking at the few examples of immoral powerful Jews and making them a symbol for all Judaism.
You would imagine maybe the Jews could've somehow get modernized slower and do it in a way that won't disadvantage the masses. many Jews tried different strategies to defuse that bomb.
Some tried to be super patriotic and assimilate into society,
Some tried to be more modern and liberal, some more traditional,
Some tried to promote universalism and socialism.
At one point, Theodor Herzl wanted to convert all the Jews to Christianity in one go.
Eventually none of that worked at the time, and many decided to move out of Europe and create their own country.

The greatest Jewish philosopher of all time *Maimonides* lived in peace in Muslim Spain and was one of society’s most notable people.
They lived there in peace and prosperity , their life was so well , that historians called it *Golden age of Jewish culture in Spain* .
Later when they were forced to either convert or flee from Catholic Spain , they found refuge only in “Muslim countries” , where they were welcomed to live and be once again part of the Arab society.
The second oldest synagogue in the world is in Djerba, Tunisia , the 4th most Muslim country in the world.
They also fought alongside Arabs against crusaders to free Palestine , because they were much safer under Muslims rule.
Before Zionism , they were Arabs best friends due to similarities in both religion and language.

@@dogbert52 You're both right and both wrong. This Ahmed Elsheikh's comment is typical of a lot of Muslims (as well as many ignorant Western "progressives" who can't bring themselves to criticize Islam) who only focus on the past episodes of history and periods when Jews had it relatively good in Islamic societies (compared to Christian Europe at least) and who ignore all the times where Jews were persecuted by Muslims, and then blame all the current problems on "those bad European Zionists". On the other hand, while you are absolutely correct in what you wrote, your comment is misleading as it suggests that the lot of Jews in Islamic societies was uniformly bad. Guys, this is a complex issue, and Jews have a long history of living in Arab and Muslim societies and whether it was good or bad for Jews depends on when and where. If I make a broad statement, I would tongue in cheek say it is Zionism's fault, insofar as Jews could be tolerated as long as they agreed not to get so "uppity" and stayed 2nd class citizens. Zionism tells Jews, whether in the Muslim Middle East or Christian Europe, they don't have to be satisfied with that, and many Muslims have a freak-out about that. So yeah, bad Zionists!
