    If you have a passion, you're going to want to continue with it until the flame dies/you loose the motivation/energy or are unable to continue for one reason or another. Whether that be in motor racing, music, art etc. I am a lowly sculptor, and I'll only be stopping when I'm either dead or I can't see any more. It's what gets me up every day.

    Ayrton Senna turned me into a Rubinho fan.
    I'll never forget that terrible weekend. The accidents, Roland Ratzenberger's death.😔
    When the news of Ayrton's death came, it was always: "No, no, no, that can't be true." Totally shocked. Completely unreal. Even after thirty years it hurts to see him. 💔
    The following year, I worked in various racing series, including a few races in Formula One. Unfortunately, I never got to see Ayrton drive live. That made me sad.
    It was his aura. He was on another level.🕯🕊Forever Love.♥️🕊
    I would love to see Mark Webber, Rubens Barrichello and Eddie Irvine.
    Love to you all. ♥️🙏🕊

    Barrichellos crash in Imola still scares the shit out of me, every time I see it or remember it. Not many f1 pictures are burned into my memory like that (Spa 98, Schumacher in Silverstone 99, Massas Crash in Hungary, Lauda on fire, Kubica in Canada and Brasil 2003 come to mind as well ) and I haven't even seen it live, since I didn't watch (or remember watching) F1 until 1996/97ish (born in 1990, and I should add, that I try to avoid watching fatal crashes, I neither need, nor want to watch senna die, so that's why they aren't in the list). Especially given the rest of the weekend I'm just amazed that he came out of it alive. How he did that I don't understand, but I'm utterly glad he did. He seems like such an amazing guy and was not just a perfect addition to the Jordan team, but to F1 as a whole. Rubens will always be one of my favorite drivers and F1 people in general, I just wish some one, just once, anybody really (looking at you Ferrari), would have given him a car that could win in Sao Paulo : / Him winning there would even make up for all the "letting people pass for the championship"...

    I have one thing that's been bugging me for years. Why did DC blatantly lie for the Williams team regarding how the 1994 cars steering column was supposedly designed to telescope in multiple axis when that is nothing but false. I mean we know WHY he would have pretty much been told to do it or lose his drive for the team. Either way ,it's pretty sad that this was done to save face for the designer of the car and whoever performed the hasty and poorly executed shaft extension.

  • @davissi
    @davissi 20 днів тому

    Eddie didn't mention that on the outside of a corner the steering lock is less thus lower lateral forces through the car.

    It would be an interesting discussion to watch if you could share your views on the teams at the bottom of the points table up to the top four . The motivation ,the resources,the uphill battles they face . Example is Williams , why is it down there ,The Americans trying to climb ,the Americans trying to enter , the RB team , Sauber , Alpine , is it the people ? The money ? Let's face it all the teams have the money . My working experience of it in 5 years showed me that whilst there is a lot of talented people ,there is also a lot of bullshizers ducking and diving just to be part of it without actually having the desire to be the best and this stalls the team . Everything has to start somewhere and EJ you have all the knowledge because you've done it from scratch and look at where your old team has morphed into now .thanks

    David, could not agree with you more. I was fortunate to retire at 46. I’m like you both. I do not look back and regret and I consider myself on my fifth life. One of those lives consisted of me introducing myself to you at the east hotel in Miami during the race of champions, actually I just said hi from my mate of mine who said he was seeing you the following week which was complete bull by him but you were very classy and polite in dealing with the fact that you had no idea who I was talking about. I’m not the sort of person to disturb famous people so I could’ve killed him for stitching me up.
