- The Army Men games had decent popularity in the 90s. Also, helicopter games had decent popularity in the 90s. This game is the logical conclusion of those two things.

Dude, Army Man Air Attack! Game was awesome as a kid lol also you can use the donut on the "ant picnic mission" and put it in the tan base, the ants will destroy their base. At least thats how i remember it 😅 its been a while

Can still here the bugs saying "Weeeeee're Freeeeeee" when you destroy the boxes. Love that little touch where the missiles turn to m80's when you go into the real world
Pokémon snap was such hype… I remember being able to save your photos on a memory card, take the memory card to blockbuster and print out the photos. As a kid that was mind blowing

The Boeing CH-47 Chinook (pronounced Shin-nook) is mainly used as transport in the Army, first appearing in the Vietnam war. Fun fact for the day.
The Army Men games were always my favorite! I used to rent every one of them from my local video rental store that also had N64 games. They weren't great games but I had the toys too so it was like they were actually real to me.

So excited for Pokemon snap! It's also hard to believe you're 100 games further along than the video series, that's so surprising to hear as a UA-cam-only viewer. Keep it up, this series is really enjoyable!

Loved this one as a kid! My brother and I would spend all weekend playing co-op. Been waiting on this one. Thanks for the nostalgia trip and congrats on 1000 hours down!
Cousin and I used to live off co-op games. This one was also a nostalgia trip for me as well. Was kind of weird that I remembered most of these maps.
Glad your are still able to upload these. I really do enjoy them. Know you had your sickness recently in your last vid but its ok. Its a huge endevor and I look forward to a lot of games that I love and loved that havent shown up yet.....like Jet Force Gemini, Quest 64, Clayfighter 63 1/3, Tetrisphere, Iggy's Wreckin' Balls, Banjo-Kazooie, Mystical Ninja Goemon, Starfox 64, Turok 2, Turok 3, Yoshi's Story........a lot more (I played and rented A LOT of N64 games lol) but I just look forward to them whenever they get released.
I LOVED an n64 game called "Hybrid Heaven" and I'm very much looking forward to him getting to it! And of course Jet Force Gemini was among my all time favorites
Damn, Quest 64 is gonna be a slog. I owned that game as a kid and I never even finished it. Worst RPG I've ever played IMO.
@mcnamaraky haha aw dude, I forgot about Quest 64! I played it to the final boss which was seriously impossible. That's gonna be some suffering lol
@@ryannachtrabI couldn't beat the Jet Force Gemini final boss because I spread the upgrades around too much between characters and you can't choose your character for that boss. Would have had to replay the entire game to beat it.
@Yewtewba now that i think about it, I don't think I ever made it to the final boss? Pretty sure it made you do a collect a thon and rescue all the natives before you could move on? 10 year old me wasn't having it lol
this is one of those games that is hugely nostalgic for me if I ever think of it. games like ocarina of time are actually less nostalgic because they are more memorable, if I think about this game it's like unlocking a secret trove of hidden knowledge I totally forgot about which makes it more nostalgic
I love this series and I respect you taking your time to edit and narrate each and every one of them.
Watched them all so far (Even that extremely long one) and will stick with you to the end, no matter the cost!

The winch is the most powerful weapon in the game. Just throw boxes at all ground enemies and it’s basically a one hit kill.

Army Sarge's Heros was AWESOME! I must have put in at least a thousand hours into that game when I was a kid!
this game is a blast to play in coop
The train mission (Level 3) was featured as a Demo on the PS release of Sarge's Heroes - I remember playing the hell out of it, just flying around, and blasting fools or dropping stuff on 'em. God, the voice lines are still burned into my brain

Dragon flies are likely the most successful predators ON THE PLANET , i think it's like 75% of their hunts are successful... they're super chill to humans , if you're any kind of big that lives near water those things are absolutely OP....
You are absolutely correct sir. Dragonflies are the super heroes of the insect world.
For mission 6 there's a chicken wing I believe you can place on the ant mound and it completely distracts them from attacking the base
I never played this on N64, but I had it for the Playstation and loved it. I remember it being so hard for me.

Genuinely love how people’s tastes differ. Thab doesn’t like Pokémon Snap, yet Pokémon Snap is the only Pokémon game I’ve ever considered buying. I enjoy hearing other’s perspectives on things.

Nuclear Strike is on the N64, and it's a sequel to Desert Strike, so if you want an awesome helicopter game on the N64 then that's probably a good choice.
This game actually plays super smooth and I always liked how it felt to move around. Good arcade style 3D bullet hell type game.

As an avid player of this game. Napalm on the ant hills (from what I recall) pretty much destroys them. Or maybe it was cherry bombs. But either way, napalm on ant hills were huge from what I remember
The stick spinning in the intro cracks me every time

Assuming the music playing in the background is from this game, sounds like 3DO shared some of the music, or at least themes, with the Battle Tanx series. Definitely sounds very similar to some tracks from Battle Tanx: Global Assault.

Fun fact. I rented this game and didnt know you had a machine gun so i had to carefully ration my missiles and smash things with items picked up by the winch. I did not get far.

This game was fun but the one level were you pick up the scientists and getting shot with rockets every few seconds kinda sucked
other then that it was easy. also there is a hidden gem of thomas the train in mission 3 - 3:36 is what i'm talking about.
