How to FIX Your DJI Mavic Drone Gimbal for FREE!!

- 👋 In todays video I found out through tons of research that a common issues with the drones, at least the DJI Mavic, is a simple and free solution to get your drone back up in the air!! Find out this easy solution!! In todays video I show you a simple and free way to fix your drone! Unfortunately a few months ago, our drone had an accident and crashed into a building! It wasn't fast enough for the drone to malfunction or completely stop working and works perfectly fine as far as the flight goes! But with that crash came a gimbal vibration that almost left us to the point of buying a new drone! I did tons of research to find out how to fix the drone and with no close places to take it in person, the only option aside from taking the drone completely apart, was to buy a new one. So after a ton of research, I finally found the solution and that was that the gimbal itself had detached from a mounting bracket that held it in place to give it that smooth footage! With a little maneuvering of some parts, I was easily able to pop the gimbal back into its original spot and now the drone works perfectly!!! This was such an easy solution that I wasn't expecting, but at the same time I'm glad it was this simple after all that research! The drone is now back and it's time to catch up on some amazing footage! I hope this helped!!

You guys ROCK!!! My Mavic Pro started doing this about a month ago, and I was thinking it was mainly due to the wind causing all the camera fluttering. I took it out on a really clear day and still the same thing and couldn't use any of the footage. I came across your video, and sure enough, my gimbal was outside of the bracket. When I did your fix, it worked awesome after that! Really appreciate you taking the time out to do the research and to create this DYI video!!

I have to hand it to you... that was all that was wrong with my Mavic Air. I thought I was going to have to send it in to DJI. I now have a fully functioning drone camera gimbal. Thanks again.

Thanks for the time to figure out the fix. This is exactly the issue that I had and had it fixed in less than than five minutes. Now I can fly my Mavic Pro with stable video.

Thanks for this video. I have a mavic air 2. the problem after my collision was that the camera wouldn't rotate up or down. After watching this video, I spent some time looking closely at the gimbal and realized I just had to push the outer edges together, they clicked into place and everything is perfect. So...not really related, but you helped me anyway.

I had same problem but I didn’t understand what you were trying to tell in your panning shot… would have been good if u showed with circling on what you were doing inside and what you were popping out to fix the gimbal 😔
I showed it in pretty good detail! Watch it again! There's not many parts to show, it's pretty simple!
Hi, I have a DJI Mavic Air, it is different than what you have. My camera doesn't move up and down also the video is shaky like you have it here, Would you happen to know what could be wrong with mine?

Hey man! Was wondering if you figured out what the name of the plastic that holds the rubbers together were? Recently crashed mine and that one was broken and i cant find a replacement part for it

how do i fix if the clip on mine is broke
Did you have to calibrate anything after? Nothing is showing now that I fixed gimbal as instructed.
Nope. It all worked fine after this. You could always do the calibration again just to make sure everything is good

Hello, I have a Mavic Mini I had a little crash then my gimbal was vibrating i had to get a new rubber gimbal stabilizer fixed it no problem. I put the top back on now im getting an error: Gimbal unable to connect. Repair is Required. (Code:40012) do you know how to fix it? every video has people slapping the top of the drone as the fix. lol not good.
Hmm I'm not sure. Have you recalibrated it? Could be the main cable too

I don’t have all the answers on fixing drones, it depends on how it crashed and what broke on it. Do you have more details on that, I could try and answer it.

Drones are cool equipment, though I wouldn't use it in my neighborhood as I am not interested in the possibility of being traumatized from watching drone footage of my eldery neighbors making love as I fly it around the neighborhood.
I would use it to make cool driving videos though! 😎
lol Flying around just to mess with it is a whole lot different then flying up to peoples windows ;)

This video reminds me of an old news story of a person that got arrested for flying a drone over the Avatar attraction (under construction at the time) at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Crazy illegal but sounds like a fun time hehe.
