The books would make for a very cute Disney+ mini series. I find it funny that in the movies Silvermist could be very anxious when in the books she was known to be extremely calm to a fault. I do think many of the core book characters are seen as having less simple personalities that couldn't be made into typical girl group stereotypes. They'll always be more near and dear to my heart but I do love the movies too.

I read the books before watching the movies and they both hold a special place in my heart. I love some of the book fairies though like Prilla, Dulce, Bess, Rani, and Beck!
I remember those book's illustration but forget when and why I saw them. I have a familiar feelings after seeing those illustration now. It's really weird that the memories just left a tiny part
I read the first book when i was 16 and still was shocked by the dark tone
i think the preference here will always come down to personal nostalgia. i was primarily a books kid, so they'll always have a soft spot in my heart. even coming back to them, the art is stunning and i miss some of their original characters, especially rani. her backstory was so cool to me when i was little and i wish she got to make the jump over to film!!
I really hope that Disney does bring back the fairies. There hasn’t been a Tinkerbell related piece of media released by Disney in years and I believe they removed Pixie Hollow from the parks. I’m not sure if Tink even appears in the parks much anymore. Of course outside of parades and the firework show where she flies across the sky. Maybe Disney thinks they’re not as popular as they once were, but it would be nice to see them back.
My friend had the Disney fairies magazine as a kid and I loved the art style and found especially Ranni (?) super beautiful. But I was never really interested in their world until the movies came out. My first Tinkerbell DVD was the special edition of the second movie and I still like that movie the most even though all of them are great!

There's also Tinker Bell and the Wings of Rani, which is the second graphic novel published by Papercutz with five full-colour comics, with the fifth one called Barefoot: After Queen Clarion's helpers lose her shoes, she decides to go barefoot making it the latest trend in Pixie Hollow. When the fairies go barefoot, good and bad things happen to them, Rani catches a cold, Bess gets paint all over her feet and Tinker Bell steps on something hard. They all decide to wear shoes again, when Queen Clarion is seen wearing shoes again. In the end its revealed that Queen Clarion loves to go barefoot whenever she can.
Pls make more Tinkerbell videos!!! I just love tinkerbell and despite the fact that we wont get a tinkerbell adaptation anytime soon, these videos sfill always cheer me up!

There's one thing that I don't like about the first Tinker Bell movie, at the end of the film we see Tinkerbell returning the music box to a little girl, SPOILER that little girl was Wendy.
That part makes no sense because it ruins the time line.
In the Peter Pan 1953, the narrator tells us that Mary, aka Wendy's mother, believes that Peter Pan is the spirit of youth, and let's not forget at the end George, aka the father, said so himself *"You know, I have the strangest feeling that I've seen that ship before. A long time ago, when I was very young"*
What does this tells us?
It tells us that Peter Pan stories were around for a long time that George and Mary, have already heard about them during their childhood and possibly might have seen him. And when they grew up, got married and had children aka Wendy, John, and Michael, they told them about Peter Pan's adventures.
So I'm sorry to say this, but whomever decided to show Wendy on the Tinker bell movie was an idiot, cause that would mean she is what, 6 or 7 yrs old, and has no idea who Peter Pan is cause, he doesn't exist yet, which also means her mother doesn't know anything about him either.
And as they kept making films after films of TB, it seams like time is passing by because the fairies need to prepare the seasons every year, so if I have to take a wild guess, I say it could have been like 4 to 5 years, Wendy should be now around 10 to 12 yrs old, so around that time she would have met Peter Pan and the events of the movie already happening. But I guess since this was a children's movie, they won't care about those minor little details, well jokes on them cause those minor little details bothered me since I was a child😒
At this point, I am just going to imagen that the Tinker Bell franchise is a separate story from the original Disney's Peter Pan 1& 2 movies, cause the inconsistencies in the timelines really pisses me off even till now😑
At the end of the day I still wish we had a movie for the rest of Tinker Bell‘s friends. Although vidia isn’t my favorite fairy, A movie that’s about her could be about her being less “ discriminating?“ towards other talents would probably be ok. discriminating is too big of a word but it’s all I can think about at the moment. Call it cliché or whatever, but at least at the end with a movie with that plot she wouldn’t really have to change, but just be more accepting of one’s talents. But then again, vidia being vidia is what makes her who she is. She wouldn’t be herself if she was acting different
